Good location, the food menu for evening meal was varied and good value for money. The breakfast was outstanding. Continental breakfast choices were excellent, and the cooked big breakfast was a challenge to finish. I enjoyed my stay here and it is very good value for money. The room was very clean. The staff at both reception and breakfast were very welcoming and friendly. I will definitely stay here again if I am visiting this area.

The bathroom was adequate, the shower wasn't very powerful. Overall, quite acceptable.

Friendly and helpful staff at both check in and at breakfast in the morning. Single room was quite small, but clean, with a comfortable bed, decent WiFi and a nice, modern ensuite. Stayed on a really hot night, but an open window and a decent fan kept the room bearable, (certainly no worse than it would have been at home.). Breakfast in the morning was both plentiful and good quality - much better than I was expecting. Overall a really good value overnight stay.

The staff were very helpful. The room had everything that I needed - TV, hairdryer, iron, towels etc etc. It is an older property, but it was obvious it was well cleaned and cared for. I didn’t have time for breakfast, but it looked very nice and a neighbour told me about how good they were. The property was well located for what I needed and the price was reasonable too.

Was booked in for a weekend as a group of 7 unfortunately I had a fall and ended up in hospital so not getting the opportunity to use the facilities the rest of the party did and were full of praise.What I would like to say is a massive thankyou to the management of the Sun Inn who reimbursed my money due to the fact that I never got to stay most appreciated 👍❤️

Almost everything, we have stayed here before, the breakfast wrap was absolutely delicious and that's from a guy that doesn't really eat fried breakfasts. The staff were great and the room was lovely.

In room 10 the shower was really small, I could hardly get in it and I'm just 5'6" and 11 1/2 stone.

comfy bed, nice sized room, hair drier, busy location but quiet, tasty cooked breakfast

no power shower, bed a bit cramped against the window/ wall, no pastries on offer with breakfast, unclear car parking for overnight parking, a musty smell

Staff were lovely, helpful,very pleasant. Service was very good, polite always, nothing was too much trouble

The very low handrail on the stairs. Smells from the kitchen into room. It would have been nice to have hot chocolate in room as I don't drink tea or coffee, I did ask but the staff said no.

the breakfast was lovely presentation 👌 all the staff are very helpful ,I enjoyed my long weekend stay at the sun inn ,if at any time I come up from Devon I would be happy to stay here again, well done everyone who works in the sun inn 👍

Really friendly accommodating staff, clean room with nice facilities and great location. They also had a full vegan cooked breakfast available which was great.

The lighting in my room was a little dark, but that could just have been my room but it was fine. There was no vegan milk available at breakfast, but I'm sure if I'd have mentioned it on check in there would have been some. But still a great little hotel.

For a single bed room, there was plenty of space and not cramped. bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom was very clean. Bar down stairs was well stocked and priced and lots of eating out options in the area including the venue itself. Easily accessible and close to the M1 etc

Mixer tap in the shower didn’t add cold water so water was extremely hot and not able to shower properly. I didn’t have time in the morning to sort anything else out as was leaving at 8am. they have a karaoke night on a Saturday, my room was right above where this was set up so if I wanted an early night, it would have been impossible due to noise. it didn’t affect me as I stayed in the bar until it finished but should be mentioned prior to accepting the booking or thought about on room allocation for guests
