Great staff; Luigi was excellent, meet and picked us up in town one night after phoning him and took us to the hop on beach re Island Hoping, always with a smile and helpful, as were the other staff, and a friendly cat too ! They have scooter hire too, which we hired for a day ( 350 pesos).
Well, the journey from the main road was a bit bumpy and a bit longer than we anticipated, but then there are other accommodation places along the track too. It's a pity the owners of these resorts all can't get together and put a flat lime track down, the investment would prove a winner both for them and the guests.

“This is our second time booking at this property, and once again, it did not disappoint. The place is well-maintained, clean, and affordable—definitely great value for money. The staff are warm, accommodating, and consistently go the extra mile. We were even allowed to check in early without any additional charges, which we truly appreciated. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience from start to finish. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be coming back.
One thing we didn’t like was the road going to the property. When we first stayed back in April 2019, it was still rough, rocky, and muddy when it rained. We came back in June 2025, and sadly, the road is still in the same condition. It would really make a big difference if the access road could be improved—it’s the only downside to an otherwise great place.

It’s clean! Surprisingly I didn’t see bugs or mosquitoes in my room, just a baby gecko🦎💚 It’s a bit away from the main road, but walking distance. It’s just you need to plan things as once you come back there is nothing around. But they are selling snacks and beers which is relieving! I like the fact that it’s far from the noise of the main road tho. Staff are kind and helpful, making you feel like home🙂 Overall my stay was comfortable and I appreciate kindness of the staff.
The only downside is the road to get there from the main road! .. no pavement:( Especially if you walk, it gets muddy when it rains and at night when you come back you must use a flashlight the whole way😂 But it was kinda fun and manageable. Also if you need a ride from the property you’d better arrange it in advance as you don’t wanna walk the muddy road all the way to the main road to get one.

This place was really cute, felt like a little bed and breakfast as the staff are so so lovely and accommodating. Wifi was good which is rare in Philippines 😂 The shared common area outside is a lovely place to sit, read and socialise with others. Free drinking water, hot water, coffee etc is a nice touch, you can also buy some bits from their mini shop if you wanted cans/noodles etc. Room is a good size, beds are pretty standard for the Philippines, hardish mattresses & a sheet for bedding but you make do. in terms of location, it’s good because you’re away from all the noise, just be mindful that the road to get to the place is a dirt track so go very slow if you’re on a scooter! Well signposted though 👌🏼
Shared bathrooms not checked often enough or cleaned often enough but you do have your own bathroom in the room anyway (only cold water in the room though so if you want hot shower, you have to use shared bathroom) 😊

The area was quiet, so relaxing. If you’re planning to cook on your own while during your stay they have available apartment with kitchen equipment. Hot shower is available and drinkable water is provided already. Staff are well accommodating, if you need assistance like renting habal-habal, airport and seaport transport they can help you. Rooms are spacious enough.
Road going to apartment was quite bumpy if your taking shortcut would take 5 to 15mins by walk till you reach the main national road. However, there is another way that’s flat not fully cemented road though vehicle car can be easily access. There is habal-habal you can ride for 150 pesos if you’re too tired to walk.

I recently stayed at Mingche Apartment and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality. The owners were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything you need, making the stay feel truly welcoming and comfortable. The room was very nice, clean, and had access to a private bathroom. While there was no hot water in my room, there is a shared shower with hot water available just outside the room. In my opinion, it’s a great solution—if you don’t mind a cold shower, you don’t need to pay more(for bigger apartment with hot shower), but if you prefer a hot shower, it’s available nearby. Mingche Apartment provides everything you’ll need—drinking water, a kettle with coffee and tea, and even a small shop where you can purchase basic items and pay at the reception. There is also free parking for scooters, which is convenient if needed. The only downside is that the road leading to the apartment is a bit bumpy, so be careful if you’re driving. Thank you again for a lovely stay! Beata & Marcin"

Beautiful place with spacious room, good bathroom and nice garden. Super clean, water and coffee/tea free all day. Very nice breakfast. The location is far enough from the super noisy road, but close enough to reach restaurants and beach (5/7mins walk). Super friendly staff :)
Nothing really :) The only thing is taxi driver trying to cheat you. The hotel is in a narrow unpaved road off the Main Street. Taxi drivers will try to leave you off the main road where there is the hotel sign and just get you to walk from there. Make sure you agree with them in advance to get you to the entrance of the hotel as it’s a bit bumpy but totally doable. (It can feel a long way in the middle of the day with backpacks or luggage). They just can’t be bothered to drive you there but would still charge you lots of money, so they’d better go all the way!

A nice quiet place. The room was really clean. The outside chairs and umbrellas were really nice to have breakfast. Water refilling and hot water for free in self-service was so convenient ! The place is a little remote so it is quiet, but really close to Alona and Danao (3min by scooter). We got a scooter for 340php per day to be more free. The land-lady was really nice ! She organized the tricycle pick-up and drop-off. Well maintained place ! Thank you so much !
The air-con was loud and a bit old. The road is rocky to get there but you get used to it, and you live in the real Philippines way. There are many dirt roads leading to their home. There could be a chair in the room, but you have chairs right outside.

The place is incredibly relaxing and quiet. It's a little bit removed from the hustle and bustle but relatively close to everything, which was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with transfers, car rentals, and anything else we needed. The Wi-Fi was stable, and everything was just as described. While the access road to the guest house is a bit rough, it's definitely doable and well worth it for the calm and quiet you find once you arrive. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet retreat!
The access road to the location was a bit rough, and we were traveling with two small kids in a stroller. While we anticipated some difficulty and managed to navigate it, i wouldn't recommend the path for strollers or individuals with disabilities due to the uneven terrain.

Excellent value for money, clean, friendly and attentive hosts. They also offer laundry and bike hire from the property at an extremely reasonable price which was an added bonus. The room was clean and well prepared when we arrived. Air conditioning worked and kept the room cool when we were inside. Also great water pressure from the shower and taps!
Access road is unsealed - this is not the properties fault just something to note. We would have also preferred firmer pillows but that's just being picky!
