The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast has a lot of choice and there is enough space for guests. We forgot an item on our table during breakfast and returned to pick it up 1 hour later. The staff was able to find the item quickly and return it to us. The spa is very big and peaceful, especially the jacuzzi. We loved it.

There was an odour in the entrance of the hotel and elevators that made it uncomfortable to use the common spaces. I'm not sure if it was coming from the cleaning products or from the lack of them.

the location of this hotel was superb - very close to the river, bars and restaurants. We stayed for 2x 1 night stays in the same week, and were really impressed by the excellent reception staff who were very helpful in dealing with our late arrivals and early departures each time. Because of how well we were looked after for our first (very brief) first night stay we looked forward to returning later in the week. Hotel itself is very grand, rooms large and very well equipped. There are cheaper alternatives in Skopje but I still found this to be very good value for the reasons stated. Will return.

The option of a buffet breakfast earlier would have been good (we had to leave before breakfast time for both of our stays.) Signposting from the carparking to reception could be better.

The staff is exceptional! Ivan at check-in was extremely kind and willing to help with information, Filip at the District restaurant was exceptional and turned our dinner into a real pleasure, we especially thank him, and at breakfast Tijana was very kind and helpful, as was Sashko in the kitchen preparing perfect eggs. and after many years I still don't understand who came up with the concept of an open bathroom in the room, it's completely transparent and that it's only okay if you're a couple, or single

Situated in the center of Skopje, this is a true gem of a stay. Be mindful of taking a pet in, there is an additional 46€ fee to pay for the pet on top of the room cost. Amazing breakfast, the room was spacious and elegant, access to gym and spa are nice bonuses.

Some of the furniture feels dated/unkept, one of the legs of the nightstand was just “leaning on it” because it was broken and then crudely glued on and detached, which is not something you expect to see in a 5* hotel.

Great location with parking (although getting a space is difficult). Perfect location for exploring the old Bazaar area and fort. Distrikt is a lovely restaurant and the staff there are great. Food was excellent. Hotel is modern, well decorated. Nice touch that twin rooms have seperate loo/bathroom. Views from the rooms are great.

No-one to help with our bags. Pillows are dreadful - like bricks - and are small squares. So quite uncomfortable.

Our suite was spacious, comfortable, and clean with good facilities. We stayed for one week. The staff were friendly, efficient, competent and well-trained. At breakfast there was a wide range of foods to suite most tastes and egg dishes could be cooked to order. We used the travel desk to arrange car trips to neighbouring countries and was impressed with the standard of car and driver provided. Located in the heart of this interesting city there were plenty of good restaurants and cafes nearby. Many of the sights of Skopje were within easy walking distance.

This is a very good hotel but there were small maintenance issues, which we reported. These included broken hinges on cupboards and the telephone system delivering early morning calls which we didn't ask for. None of these defects affected our enjoyment of the hotel. For one meal the side dishes were cold. When reported we were offered replacement dishes. Since there were so many good and cheaper restaurants within easy walking distance we chose to eat out.

This was by far the best accommodation we have had in Europe. Large clean rooms, friendly staff who can’t do enough to assist and a fantastic variety at breakfast great value for money and highly recommended . The indoor pool, spa, steam room and relaxation area were an added free bonus that helped us relax after 60 days travelling Europe. Highly recommended

Location, breakfast and hotel ambience

I asked for early check in but even at 3pm one of the room was not ready. Hotel in below response claims that second room was ready prior to 3pm is totally incorrect. It is not good to note that Hotel records are incorrectly filled instead of improving the service. Hotel should check telephone record that I made a call from my room after 3pm (around 3:15pm) complaining that the second room was still not ready.

The hotel is located in an excellent location, right in the center of Skopje, near all major tourist attractions, shops, and restaurants. The hotel itself has a café and restaurant, an executive lounge for work or meetings, a spa, and an excellent gym.

Regarding drawbacks, we were assigned a room overlooking a building under construction, and the view is quite unpleasant and partially noisy. If possible, request a room with a view of the square. The accommodation is not cheap, so they should accommodate this request. Additionally, the reception is very slow in dealing with clients. Finally, we had serious issues with ordering taxis, and even though this might not be solely the hotel's fault, the taxi they called twice was about 20 minutes late each time, and the last time we almost missed our flight. This is a general issue in Skopje, but a serious hotel should take care of the taxi service it offers to its guests.
