The beach is wonderful, shade and sun and many sunbeds. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is normal, not very special but that was ok. The bungalows are ok, the bed is really great and the cushions are very good quality. Very good and hot shower. And again: the staff is very friendly and always smiling.

There was not enough light in the bungalows. I had my own little lamp with me, otherwise would have been a problem. Bungalow is very small and there is nothing to put clothes. Only 3 hangers at the wall and a table.. For 1 person could be enough but for a couple its very difficult. My bungalow called " de luxe" but was situated at de entrance and very loud in the morning. As I stayed at the beach most of the time, at the end i got used to it. But the price was far to high for what i got at the end.

Great location - probably the best location on Lipe if you’re not into over-tourism! Up near the local village and next to the school. Very charming! Great wide beach with fewer longtails than elsewhere. Lovely dapped tree shade to lie under. Great room - we had a superior bungalow, not sure what the others are like. Big safe we could fit laptops inside. Fantastic setting with lots of trees. Very chilled set of bungalows. Lovely staff

Very little! Be aware that it’s pretty normal for Thai bungalows to be pretty rustic, and while this was better than most, it would have been nice to have more hangers!

The resort occupies one of the best parts of sunrise beach. Large expanse of quality beach which gets the sun most of the day. A very relaxed ambience and all kept beautifully clean. Comfortable and spacious rooms with a lovely view of the beach. Comfortable bed, good Aircon. The bathroom was a bit 1950s but everything worked.

There are a huge number of boats parked up on sunset beach causing pollution. Some days you can see a thin film of oil on the waters surface and all the coral in the vicinity is dead. On other days, the winds and tides wash the pollution away and the water is beautifully clean and clear. Breakfast was basic - but there are multiple eating options on the island. Inflexible 'pay up front, no rebate' approach. Other resorts of the same quality offer greater flexibility.

Beautiful beach, very pretty setting on the beach, spa is in perfect location. We loved the vibe of this resort, and that weight more our opinion to the positive reviews, despite the negatives

The massages got worse day after day. First it was incredibly good, last day was a waste of money. It seemed once they new we are coming back, they didn’t put the effort. Plus chatter was disturbing. Restaurant staff not very nice, food variety is poor.

The view from our hut is outstanding! The beach and sea that was right on the doorstep, was amazing, with lovely food and drink available at the hotel and in close proximity! Comfortable bed! Nice breakfast.

The bathroom isn’t sealed like an internal room, so is prone to getting lots of mosquitoes which can sneak into your main room…. Also we had 2 very large cockroaches visit the bathroom too, which was a bit of a nasty surprise while in an uncompromising position!

The beach bungalow is perfect as you don't have to leave your bungalow in order to enjoy the beach. Having walked along the beach, I think I had stayed in the best location for me. I liked the shadow of the trees, there few boats here compared to other places. Breakfast was Ok, especially because I like fruit and yoghurt and the bowl was good. The space in the bungalow was fine as I was alone, for two it might be a problem. Otherwise, the bathroom is spacious. The staff are polite and the massage is good and recommended.

It was close to the beach and also walking distance to the main street. Location was the best location on the island. Rooms were clean and fresh bungalow. The beds were also nice.

Breakfast was a la carte and only one choice per morning. They charge extra if you want more. I had to make myself full on pineapple and watermelon. Also the bathroom was Bungalow style so it made me feel like any small animal could show up. Luckily it did not :) but that is something you have to count with if you book Bungalow.

Fantastic location in peaceful and quiet surroundings, away from the noise of Walking Street but still only a short walk away. The food here is good and the bar doesn’t pump loud music all day like some other properties.

Cockroaches in our room and bathroom every night. It’s normal due to the landscape but the hotel could maybe close some of the gaps that let them in. Also, the staff wasn’t particularly friendly.

We’ve stayed in Lipe beach resort for 1 week, we enjoy it very much! The beach in front of the hotel is perfect and the room was exactly as in the picture, we stayed in the 2 row but still, we felt like we’re right in front of the beach. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help.

The WiFi is terrible, in any point of the resort, the breakfast area that is right next to the reception, that is weird and at the room, terrible, but other than that, everything was perfect!

The resort is in an amazing location where it's close enough to the main street, but far enough to where you won't be full of tourists and crazy night life. Since it's at the sunrise side, you don't get many people since sunrise is so early. The sunset side of the island is crazy crowded, so thats what's nice about the resort. The Aloe massage is the BEST massage in the island. We had massage on the main street, but don't wast your money there. The breakfast was nice, but nothing too special. It was just right to start your day.

Since the rooms are made of wood, they crack a LOT at night from the wind and if you are a light sleeper, it can definitely keep you up at night. Also, the bathroom walls do not go all the way up, so there are bugs that will get inside your room. We made sure to keep the bathroom door closed so the bugs didn't get into the main room, but it wasn't too bad.
