The room was large and the refrigerator worked fine, although it could be a little bigger. We were close to a grocery store and a CostCo which are big pluses for us. There were multiple restaurants close to the hotel also. The Staff was very nice and helpful especially when we had a problem with our TV the first night we checked in. They sent someone to fix it the next day. Another big plus: there was ample parking around the hotel so we didn't have to stress about coming back after a late meal.

The hotel was a little farther from downtown than we thought. But driving around in Duluth was easy, so it wasn't that big of a problem.

Hotel was nicely decorated, the room was attractive. Everything was clean. I liked that the closet had a door on it. Beds were very comfortable, soft, lots of pillows. Big screen TV, nice size desk. Bathroom was bright with lots of counter space, shower had pump shampoo and conditioner on the wall. Room had a coffee maker. Ice was just down the hall, and there was a filtered water dispenser on first floor. Breakfast was very good: eggs, sausages, potatoes, excellent biscuits, gravy, toast,, waffles, pancakes, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, juice, etc. The tall gentleman managing the breakfast was very polite, helpful, and professional.

The room great, it was very clean, I loved that it smelled fresh and thats a winner in my book. Breakfast had a lot to choose from, hot, or cold breakfast choices. The coffee was great and my husband loved the waffles. The hotel was in a very good location, everything you need is right there. The location is quiet and in a nice part of town. Would stay here again.

They came in and cleaned the room and took the dirty towels but didn't leave any clean towels. We had to ask the front desk for towels. They got us towels promptly and apologized for the inconvenience.

Quiet location close to shopping and restaurants. Clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Offered a different room due to strong smell.

We never got enough towels each day. 2 to start, one the next day and then 2 the day after that. We had 3 people in the room. Room smelled heavily of weed when we checked in. We chose to stay even though we were offered a different room (just didn’t want to be blamed for it)

Website and hotel staff need to clarify that only one room (with a king size bed) has a fully accessible bathroom, suitable for someone using a wheelchair. Claims of 2 additional 'accessible' rooms have bathrooms far too small to be able to accommodate a wheelchair and still close the door. Toilet areas have no bars to assist with transfer.

Everything was great as stated above, especially the security of the building. we stayed here before and that’s why we picked it again.

We stayed for two nights and they did not refresh our room after the first night. We were charged $164 on top of our two night stay charge. We were reimbursed, but I had to make a call so it was a little extra stress.

Clean, fresh, modern. The front staff accommodated us on early arrival as my wife was not feeling well. Very much appreciated the hospitality. Breakfast was great enough variety and food was hot!

Minor annoyance with our room door not fully closed on its own. We felt safe secure and enjoyed a quiet stay. We would like to have stayed another evening but prices were jacked up for weekend and concert the next evening. All hotels doing this but somewhat disappointing.

Large clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Mattress was comfortable, bathroom nice. Wifi was good.

Location was out of the way, especially with the construction on highway 53. Lots of teens in building on first day and they were typical kids running in and out of rooms, doing what teens do. Breakfast was bit of a madhouse on Saturday, noisy and most seating occupied, Staff tried hard to keep food and drinks available.

I haven't stayed at a La Quinta in close to a decade, having had subpar experiences at locations in Florida, but this one was the best La Quinta I have ever stayed at, and such a pleasant surprise. The hot breakfast exceeded our expectations, beds and pillows were comfortable, room was clean and quiet, and the shower pressure was wonderful. We slept very well here and would stay again.

Unfortunately the hot tub was broken during our stay and after two long travel days, we had been looking forward to soaking in the hot tub.

The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. The hot breakfast was not a typical hot breakfast...many selections and fresh. The staff was very accommodating when we requested a different type room.
