We loved how very friendly and helpful the hosts were, giving you space or attention as required. The village was very accessible, yet you were off the beaten track and in the heart of stunning scenery. The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable with everything you could want. The breakfasts were perfectly cooked with excellent fayre. The garden was beautiful, with a variety of seating. We would highly recommend Heulwen for walkers and/or road-trippers alike. Or just stay and read in the garden!
We had a perfect stay!

Without a doubt the best B&B I’ve ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, excellent sized rooms, amazing location and views, fresh delicious breakfast with a great selection, including homemade jam from fruits in the garden! The best owners/hosts you could wish for. Extremely welcoming and accommodating, nothing was too much for them. Offered my group hot drinks on arrival, made recommendations for dinner out (even offering to ring restaurants to check availability) and were overall very pleasant and happy to chat. Will definitely be back!
Nothing.

The views and garden were well kept and such a nice sight to wake up to! Location was perfect with a nice town not far away. It was very clean and the room was well equipped with all that we needed from towels and toiletries to a USB charging station and coffee maker. The bed was comfortable and fit my husband and I along with our toddler. The hosts were very welcoming and ensured we were comfortable the entire time. Breakfast was amazing and one of the best we’ve had! For the price, you definitely get so much that is well worth it! We are already planning our next stay.

The location was perfect for us with spectacular views of the Welsh mountains lovely and quiet yet handy for shops, pubs and restaurants. Andy and Heulwen were exceptional hosts, nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were superb- we could have any combination we liked. The best B&B we`ve stayed in for a long, long time. Thank you Heulwen and Andy for making our holiday so perfect- you are both such lovely people.
Nothing.

My stay at Heulwen Guest House was truly enjoyable. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable experience. Andy and Heulwen were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always willing to help with any requests. The location was convenient, close to key attractions. Additionally, the breakfast offered a good variety of options and Gluten free option was brilliant . I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free stay
I loved the property I stayed in. It was clean, cozy, and in a great location. The amenities were excellent, making my stay very comfortable. I’d definitely return!

A very warm, personable welcome from the hosts. I'd stated that I have both a dairy and a gluten intolerance and they catered for me above and beyond what I was expecting, even down to buying a packet of 'Free From' granola just for me. The house is gorgeous, rivalled only by it's magnificent views. Placed well up on the opposite side of the valley from Dolgellau village centre, it's as quiet as you could want. The room was wonderful, taking in the views mentioned above and very comfortable. We will definitely be returning.
The only thing we didn't like is that we don't live there.

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed! The location is stunning as are the rooms and general facilities. The rooms are very well furnished with every attention to detail. We also really enjoyed using the guest lounge, which is comfortable, spacious - and has the most amazing views. The hosts were friendly, attentive - and the breakfast set us up for the whole day. My only regret is that we only had two nights there - we will definitely go back.

Our stay at Heulwen Guest House was so delightful that we didn't want to leave. Our hosts' welcome was warm and the room was immaculate and cozy. We could step out of our room onto a patio, gaze at the breathtaking view of the meadows, the baby lambs, and the mountains, immersing ourselves in the joy of being in nature whilst luxuriating in comfort. Our days began with a bountiful and hearty full English breakfast cooked to order, and served by Heulwen and Andy not only with a smile, but with genuine joy. Heulwen and Andy were always at the ready with directions and suggestions for our forays from the bungalow. The house is decorated with the most exquisite taste, and although we were blessed with unusually good weather during our stay, we could imagine the pleasures to be had from lounging in the sitting room with a good book on a rainy day. Given the serenity to be enjoyed at this bed and breakfast, it's all the more felicitous that it is located only about ten minutes' drive from Dolgellau, a beautiful old town of stone structures with a number of shops and good restaurants. We can't wait to go back and stay at Heulwen Guest House again.
Cannot think of anything; it was perfect.

Andy and Heulwen are the most welcoming and accommodating hosts, nothing was too much trouble and they were are always friendly and attentive.
Bathroom opposite the bedroom, it is clearly stated in the information and the bathrooms were private to each room and very well appointed but having to cross the hall the use the toilet is a little bit of an inconvenience. They did however provide dressing gowns which is a nice touch
