I liked our room—the bed was very comfy, the air conditioning worked very well, and a water heater was available. The bathroom was great, with a nice shower and good toiletries provided—shampoo, balsam, and shower gel. Water was available upon arrival. There was a possibility to store luggage after check-out, which was very convenient. The staff was extremely friendly and also available on WhatsApp. It was a 30-minute walk to the city center and the Acropolis, with many great cafés and brunch spots nearby.

The location was not great—it’s in a bad part of Athens, where we saw needles on the streets, a lot of trash, and some strange people. It was noisy in the evening, as the restaurant across the street was open until 1 AM.

Spot Apart in Athens is an excellent place to stay! Extremely clean, spacious, and modern apartments with a lovely balcony. The location is great - central yet quiet, with easy access to everything.

The location is convenient if you have business nearby or enjoy the alternative downtown scene, but for first-time visitors wanting to see the main tourist highlights, the neighborhood might not be ideal. It’s close to the city center but also has a more urban feel, with some areas affected by the local drug scene. For my purposes, it was perfect!

We like the comfortable bed and the kitchenette would have been nice if we were staying more than one night. We liked that it was close to city center. The staff were gracious and allowed us to leave our backpacks while we toured Athens.

We arrived late and some parts were not the best. I felt fine with my husband, but would have been scared by myself. We saw out our windows people writing graffiti on the walls across the street. Athens is filled with graffiti! Also we could not get the aircon to work and it was already midnight so too late to request help. It said the air filter needed changing. We opened the window but it was noisy.

The location was great - walking distance to the Metro and several attractions. The rooms were comfortable and private. The Kitchen had both a microwave and an oven, and because we had 2 bedrooms (5 people), we also got 2 bathrooms, which was a very nice bonus. The check-in and check-out were easy, with detailed information in the email that allowed self-check-in. We needed to check out early before the front desk opened, and they stored our suitcases for us. A very good option balancing cost and value.

Would stay there again. It was comfortable while not being very big. We were in room 501 and had a very large baloncy which was great to sit out on. It was very close to restaurants and food outlets. While it was an old part of Athens with lots of graffiti around the area but we felt safe. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The floor looked clean but it wasn't. A few more utensils etc in the kitchen. A proper ironing board

One of the best check in experiences and I wish more hotels did this. You check in yourself using a 4 digit code of your choice which is used for the front building door and your room door. Our flight was severely delayed so we landed very late and got to the hotel around midnight. Having the self service check in was a huge help.

Im not sure how clean it was… I found a pair of sock that weren’t mine when I checked in so not sure if it’s thoroughly cleaned between check ins and outs. There also wasn’t a blanket just a thin sheet. Very minor dislikes but overall an incredible stay!

Rooms were very spacious and clean. Good sized bathroom. We were only there for a stopover but the kitchen seemed well equipped. Area is interesting. Lots of independent bars, cafes and restaurants with great variety of small shops. Don’t let the graffiti put you off, the locals were very friendly.

Nothing. It is further out but the walk to Syntagma or Monastiraki is not far and you pass some great sights. The indoor market is amazing

Nicely furnished and well-equipped studio very close to Metro. Polite and friendly staff. Comfy beds, plenty of plug points, good wifi, sensibly-placed TV (actually facing the bed), hot water, rainshower.

Bathroom sink: water accumulates quickly, takes quite some time to drain. Entry system: the instructions emailed to me and printed outside the entrance are both erroneous. They tell you to wait 3 to 5 seconds before pressing the key button; in fact, if you do this, the system deactivates and you cannot gain entry at all. What you need to do is press the key button immediately after you have keyed in your code. Then all is hunky dory.

The room was beautiful, spacious and had a small kitchen. The bed was super comfortable and big. I really liked that they had a desk, very convenient for those traveling for work. It also had two capsules of espresso, two water bottles and very good soaps, shampoos etc. I love the neighborhood, close to the metro and with so many shops and bars.

Although I love the neighborhood, the street the hotel is on, was quite noisy. Also our room had a common door with another room, and you could hear the people in the room or smell the food they were cooking. They were not so responsive in the messages on the booking app or when we called them. They did pick up, but never called us back to answer our questions.

Check-in is super easy with the code they give you. The room has all the things you need. The hotel is close to a big metro station, and the area is not too bad. They have mosquito screen doors which is a HUGE plus!

The doors are not significantly noise-canceling, so you will not miss people coming home and leaving on the same floor. We could hear our neighbor's shower as if he were taking a shower in our room. He had to get up early (probably because of a flight). The shower itself is rather small so if you are a big/tall person, it might get uncomfortable.
