The location was close to Normanville where all the cafes and shops are. It’s also only approx 30 mins drive to Aldinga and McLaren Vale. The owner was really responsive and accommodating. Lastly, it is well equiped and peaceful. Exactly what you need on a weekend or week long getaway.

This property was so so beautiful. It was the perfect combination of country classic with modern facilities. It's rural and isolated but also only a short drive to the next town. The ideal place to relax and unwind. We particularly loved the wood fire and the bath, as it was a cold couple of days. The place was also full of everything we could've possibly needed!

Great sunsets across the fields. Two bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of outdoor areas. Reasonably close to the local heavenly beaches. Great washer dryer for quick overnight laundry on our road trip.

Found a live insect in our bed cover. I appreciate this can happen being out in the rural location.

What a fantastic stay! The photos don't do justice to how spectacular the property and home truly are. The hosts left us wanting for nothing with lovely little touches like breakfast provisions and a welcome pack including a local bottle of wine. Fittings and furnishings were modern, comfortable and plentiful. It felt like staying with family in their guest house. Will absolutely be back and be recommending to friends.

The view was amazing! Such a quiet and relaxing spot. The house was clean and comfortable. Simon was a super attentive host. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Excellent location with fantastic views to the ocean. The accomodation was perfect with lots of space for two people and great set up with all the amenities you need and thoughtful breakfast provisions. Simon was a great host with great communication. We would love to come back!

the property was nice and peaceful for us. we were exhausted with a lot of work until the holiday and the Coastal Lodge helped us to relax alot and enjoy my holiday with the excellent view.

Superb view of rolling hills and ocean/coast. Well maintained accommodation with very nice finish. Evening barbecue watching the sunset a highlight. Short drive to amazing beach.
