We stayed in the self contained annex self catering studio, which is situated above the garage, separate access from the main house, via private door & stairs to the accommodation, which could be an issue for the less able bodied/disabled person, due to the climbing of stairs, I personally loved the accommodation, light and airy clean, beds comfy shower over bath, everything you could need at a base camp during your stay, enough utensils and dishes for eating and cooking with, we were welcomed by our host Elizebeth who’s very friendly and approachable who guided us through the flat, we had fresh milk left in fridge tea coffee and condiments were available for us to use too! hairdryer found in the wardrobe but! (No iron) which I didn’t miss personally. Great location to Antrim, Crumlin, & Aldergrove airport and surrounding areas.

A beautiful position overlooking the loch, and eclectically decorated with maps and country themed gear. Great shutters on the window to keep out the morning sunshine, good shower and plenty of space in the room. We were leaving too early for the nearby international airport to eat breakfast, but were able to enjoy a delicious Irish stew with wheaten bread in the evening.

Nothing, though I thought there should have been a spaniel lurking in the background.

Elisabeth is a wonderful host and we spent 5 nights in the green room. The room is small but comfortable and it is larger then you think after seen the pictures. The private bathroom is large and good. Elisabeth serves a deliicat breakfast with several alternatives. After 5 nights we were so well taken care of that we regret we had to leave.

Fabulous location and very peaceful. Great breakfast but you can even book an evening meal which we did and was beautifully cooked by Elizabeth. Fresh produce and very enjoyable. Also great for driving to and from the airport just 10 minutes away especially when you have an early or late flight. Thank you for a wonderful start and end to our holiday in Ireland.

The breakfast was excellent. Elizabeth used local, fresh food where possible and made her own dishes, resulting in a lovely, tasty breakfast. The location was also a big plus. Only a short distance from the airport yet quiet and peaceful. Close to Antrim and Crumlin. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and would stay there again.

The shower over the bath could be challenging to some guests.

Lovely situation on Lough Neagh but also easy to get into Belfast or north to the Giantś Causeway etc. Elizabeth, the hostess, was charming and helpful. She provided lots of helpful advice and delicious breakfasts. The bedroom was comfortable with a view of the lake.

Always a warm welcome. Breakfast is excellent with home cooked bread and plenty of choice in a cosy room around a dining table so a chance to chat to fellow guests. Rooms are clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated. There is a great view of Lough Neagh from the bedroom window. Although not far from the airport we were not disturbed by aircraft noise. It is also fairly convenient for the ferry.

Elisabeth prepared an amazing breakfast, there was really nothing that she did not offer. All home made and delicious. The location of the cottage was perfect for us. She also helped us with information about the area and referred us to a great taxi company.

It was in a beautiful quiet location next to Loch Neigh with lovely views from the bedroom window. The room was lovely. Spacious warm and clean. It was lovely to have such a good choice at breakfast. The freshly cooked bread was amazing.

Everything! Our room was spacious, very comfortable and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast lovely. The view from our window was breathtaking. Elizabeth is a charming host. It was so easy to get to the airport for our morning flight. We will definitely return to Bay Cottage.
