The hotel has been recently refurbished to a high standard and tastefully done, offering a very comfortable stay. Its location is excellent if you have a car. The rooms have been upgraded beautifully, providing a cosy and modern feel. Breakfast includes everything you would expect from a standard hotel breakfast, and dinner at the Dormy Bar & Grill is quite acceptable.

However, the combination of lighting and openness in the Dormy Bar & Grill Restaurant makes the atmosphere feel less cosy and inviting compared to the rest of the hotel.

The hotel is in a lovely estate with golf course. The room was clean and easily accessible. The staff upon check-in was superb. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. The pool was lovely and big for many to enjoy. The steam room was excellent. All areas we found were clean and looked after. We brought our 5 year old son and he truly enjoyed this experience.

The only downside was service at the restaurant(The Dormy). Before we ordered, it was brilliant, but to get them to come to the table for anything else after food was delivered was difficult. The food was delicious with decent portion sizes. Just wish the staff was a bit more attentive to tables even after food is delivered.

The staff were incredible. All 3 staff the 2 females and 1 male on check in were absolutely amazing with my son and made us feel really welcome. No request was too much. They are all an asset to the hotel. The rooms are all lovely. Loved the heated radiator option in bathroom. Really nice touch and facilities including pool were excellent

My only negative and this is clutching at straws is no hot water machine at breakfast. There is a tiny flask for hot water which I can’t imagine at busy times. Our tea wasn’t very warm.

Everything was ideal for a visit to Belfast. We got the bus all over and was really reasonable. We spent an afternoon just lounging by the pool side which felt like a pamper session and would have loved to make full use of facilities but we had 3 children with us! The staff were exceptional, they were all so friendly and helpful at all times of the day and on the phone from our room as we asked many questions about transport and getting to our planned trips. They even organised us a breakfast pack each for our trip as we had to leave so early and this breakfast bag had enough for lunch too! We really loved the quiet location away from the city but 35 mins by bus to the city and about 10/15 mins by the number 300a bus, which just drops you off at the end of the road. We had takeaways at night delivered to the hotel reception area, which was perfect for our loud, crazy children instead of worrying about being too silly in the restaurant area. This literally was a great choice for exploring the beautiful city. Thanks so much

First class customer service. Excellent facilities and a complimentary upgrade to a suite! A fantastic night and will definitely return to use the beautiful spa. Every staff member we met was fantastic and so helpful. A special thank you to Sharon in reception who went the extra mile to make our stay so special and memorable. Totally exceeded.our expectations and, after a difficult few months, was just what we needed. Thank you!

Came here for my son's 14th birthday. Reception extremely helpful on arrival in fact probably the best customer service we have ever had in a hotel. Everything was explained clearly. Got to room and chocolates and a card had been left for my son who was absolutely delighted. Had no robes in room for pool however a quick call to reception and we received them in less than 5 mins. Pool facilities are brilliant wasn't expecting the pool to be so warm. Everything clean. Had a meal in the Dormy was very impressed with menu choice and prices. Food beautiful and quick to arrive. To be honest I couldn't fault anything. Breakfast was outstanding plenty of fresh produce hot food delicious coffee facilities excellent. Can't wait to come back.

One night wasn't enough lol honestly can't fault the place. Clean spacious and customer service faultless. Maybe more lighting in the room if I had to pick a fault.

enjoyed entering the building into a fabulous reception area, the staff greeted with a smile and very pleasant ensured everything was done with an ease. nothing was no problem and to benefit receiving warm cookies was a great touch to a lovely stay

to be honest they where having renovation works completed. but there was no work noise just the facilities were not available but i know that is to make the hotel a better experience for future guest

Hotel is great. Big comfy bed, lovely view from our room.[175]. Terrace bar is beautifully laid out with very good bar staff. Parking is excellent + the front entrance area to the Hotel is wonderful. Sitting in the sun outside the Terrace bar was brilliant. the views great + watching people practicing their golf shots added to the joy of the afternoon.

A small fridge in the room would be an asset. Breakfast is buffet style + is OK.

The hotel and facilities were perfect and made for a really comfortable stay.

We had a room with an adjoining door between us and the one next which we did not expect. The guest in the next room coughed all night and disturbed our sleep. I understand it was Boxing Night however too many small kids in the bar area and one of the bar staff had no idea about who was next to be served.

Clean and spacious, ample parking. SPA was nice and room was excellent

Restaurant was poor in the evening. Food quality was ok but cold veg , burnt steak , frozen roast potatoes, roast beef without a Yorkshire pudding? Redeemed at breakfast but again temperatures were all over the place, cold eggs and warm yoghurt Bar prices were ridiculous £38 for 2 x rum and cokes
