location perfect good food

restaurant service poor had asked on booking for quiet table due to my teenage son having autism ,friday night got seated at busiest area for traffic ,asked to moved and was accommodated same issue on sat night,asked to be moved and was told no even though quieter tables were available. waiting staff Had asked manger who refused . ordered good red wine both nights ,first night I had to open bottle myself which I have no issue with but saturday night bottle came opened to the table which is a no no when your spending approx £70 on a bottle and again given a white wine glass,was told there was no red wine glasses I walked to the bar at reception and got a red wine glass.problem solved restaurant manager on duty needed to be more attentive

All the staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food was exceptional. We had lunch and dinner here. The only thing was it was the same menu for both. However, there is a great variety. There is lots to do in the hotel ie. Spa, gym, pool, driving range, and golf course. We enjoyed our stay here, and we will be back.

I would have appreciated some bottled water in the fridge on arrival. Although I loved the complimentary warm cookie on check in. There is only 1 mirror located in the bathroom. As a girl, I would have appreciated a long mirror in the bedroom.

The hotel has been recently refurbished to a high standard and tastefully done, offering a very comfortable stay. Its location is excellent if you have a car. The rooms have been upgraded beautifully, providing a cosy and modern feel. Breakfast includes everything you would expect from a standard hotel breakfast, and dinner at the Dormy Bar & Grill is quite acceptable.

However, the combination of lighting and openness in the Dormy Bar & Grill Restaurant makes the atmosphere feel less cosy and inviting compared to the rest of the hotel.

The hotel is in a lovely estate with golf course. The room was clean and easily accessible. The staff upon check-in was superb. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. The pool was lovely and big for many to enjoy. The steam room was excellent. All areas we found were clean and looked after. We brought our 5 year old son and he truly enjoyed this experience.

The only downside was service at the restaurant(The Dormy). Before we ordered, it was brilliant, but to get them to come to the table for anything else after food was delivered was difficult. The food was delicious with decent portion sizes. Just wish the staff was a bit more attentive to tables even after food is delivered.

We frequently heard a banging noise which sounded like water pipes, I assume when someone used the shower or flushed the loo. I’m a very light sleeper so I did find this a bit annoying. I didn’t ask for a room change because I figured it might happen throughout the whole hotel and wasn’t something that they could rectify anyway. It didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the place though.

The staff were incredible. All 3 staff the 2 females and 1 male on check in were absolutely amazing with my son and made us feel really welcome. No request was too much. They are all an asset to the hotel. The rooms are all lovely. Loved the heated radiator option in bathroom. Really nice touch and facilities including pool were excellent

My only negative and this is clutching at straws is no hot water machine at breakfast. There is a tiny flask for hot water which I can’t imagine at busy times. Our tea wasn’t very warm.

Everything was ideal for a visit to Belfast. We got the bus all over and was really reasonable. We spent an afternoon just lounging by the pool side which felt like a pamper session and would have loved to make full use of facilities but we had 3 children with us! The staff were exceptional, they were all so friendly and helpful at all times of the day and on the phone from our room as we asked many questions about transport and getting to our planned trips. They even organised us a breakfast pack each for our trip as we had to leave so early and this breakfast bag had enough for lunch too! We really loved the quiet location away from the city but 35 mins by bus to the city and about 10/15 mins by the number 300a bus, which just drops you off at the end of the road. We had takeaways at night delivered to the hotel reception area, which was perfect for our loud, crazy children instead of worrying about being too silly in the restaurant area. This literally was a great choice for exploring the beautiful city. Thanks so much

Breakfast was very nice

I was a female travelling alone .. for a wedding 29th May at the rabbit hotel …I was in room 236 2nd floor .. when I was getting ready for the wedding around 11am .. I came out of the bathroom and the window cleaner was at the window - I found this distressing especially as I was on my own in the room .. was a shock - wasn’t expecting it .. also very noisy early morning 8am building renovations woke me up

First class customer service. Excellent facilities and a complimentary upgrade to a suite! A fantastic night and will definitely return to use the beautiful spa. Every staff member we met was fantastic and so helpful. A special thank you to Sharon in reception who went the extra mile to make our stay so special and memorable. Totally exceeded.our expectations and, after a difficult few months, was just what we needed. Thank you!

I loved it all!!!

I have stayed here 4 times now,Everything was absolutely 10/10 amazing, stayed here 2 weekends in a row, rooms are exceptional with a comfy bed and view over the golf course, drinks are amazing aswell as the gym, pool,sauna,steam room and hot tub highly recommend this place to anyone even with kids as there was some water toys in the pool for kids, staff are amazing and so friendly,will definitely be back!
