Nice new hotel in a good location. It had beautiful pools with access to the sea. Also the breakfast was amazing with a lot of options and variety. Also we got a free upgrade of the room with the plunge pool, that was very nice and they were very flexible with the checkout which was much appreciated.

The glass in the shower was so small that after every shower the bathroom turned into a swimming pool. Furthermore, the parking for a 5* hotel was poor. there were limited spots in front of the hotel and parking costed 15€ a day. There were also a lot of mosquitoes and we felt that the hotel could have been a bit more proactive in dealing/helping us with the situation. They also didn’t want to give us a towel to go for the beach somewhere else and we needed to spend money on buying new towels while there were many towels in the hotel..

Staff through out excellent - genuine / Friendly / helpful. Bedrooms kept spotlessly clean - excellent . Whole complex is maintained kept clean throughout Breakfast included - Excellent.

To have a moan 🥴 Car parking - 15 Euros p/day / night - soon adds up . Especially when there is hardly any space available to park on the Main Street. ( hire a small to medium size car as if you are ever lucky enough to find a space they are small ) Meals & Beverages twice the price to the restaurants that are just outside or a short stroll down the road. That are also excellent. But I guess that is obvious with the low numbers of people that stay to have an evening meal or drinks. Gym is small - need to book & only max 4 people at a time .limited space limited equipment. ( to which helped me having an excuse not to go 🥴😊) Don’t forget your Euro tax of 15 Euros P/Day to be paid at the end also.

We spent a wonderful week at Nautilux Rethymno in June and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay in Crete. The rooms are exceptionally spacious, beautifully designed, and very well equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean throughout our entire stay. The breakfast buffet was outstanding – with a wide variety of high-quality, fresh options, from local specialties to international classics. One of the absolute highlights is the direct access to the beach – no road in between, which is quite rare in Greece. The hotel also offers two fantastic pools, and we always found available sunbeds, whether by the pool or at the beach, no matter the time of day. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and professional. The valet parking service worked flawlessly and added an extra level of comfort to our stay. We also loved the hotel’s modern architecture, which creates a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere. A great bonus: the complimentary yoga and functional training sessions – a thoughtful and high-quality addition to the wellness experience. We will definitely return – Nautilux Rethymno is a true gem on the island of Crete!

The gym was disappointing for a hotel of this category – it is quite small, with only four machines and space for a maximum of three people at a time. Access is only possible with a prior reservation, which is inconvenient. Also, the Wi-Fi connection could be more stable and faster in some areas of the hotel. Additionally, the walk to Rethymno Old Town is quite long. While it’s doable, it takes time – fortunately, a taxi ride only costs about €7 one way.

It is our second time at the Nautilux Crete. The first time we became in love with everything. The beauty of the Hotel. Extremely clean and comfortable. Very new and well maintained. The staff is the best. Always with a smile on the face. We love the minimalism and modern design of this Hotel. The beach. The view. The service at the pool and at the beach. The food is amazing. This time we receive an upgrade and the suite with the jacuzzi was wonderful. We just have good things to share with the others. Absolutely nothing to complain.

A big thank you to Liana and Zania in customer relations and all the team for a wonderful two weeks at the Nautlilux Rethymno. Our holiday coincided with our 56th wedding anniversary and they made everything perfect, even an anniversary cake, which was a lovely surprise and so much appreciated. Before choosing Nautilux we read testimonials about the exceptional standard of service and It exceeded our expectations. Everyone from reception to maids, waiters, bar staff and parking attendants were so helpful and friendly. They made us feel really special. Our room was comfortable and spacious with every facility, including a jacuzzi and beautiful sea-view balcony. Breakfasts and dinners were superb with a wide selection of dishes for every palette, including some delicious local specialties. If we needed explanations service captain Anna was always on hand to give assistance. Nautilux is perfectly located with its own private beach to supplement its two pools. Rethymno old town and harbour is a 3km walk or 7-euro taxi ride, providing shops and bars or a romantic meal at one of the harbourside tavernas overlooked by the ancient Venetian lighthouse. We recommend Taverna Knossos, run by the same family since 1936. (Maria is a welcoming host.) One of the best hotels in Crete, without a doubt.

It seems churlish to mention such a small issue, but some extra drawer space in the room would be good. Maybe we took too many clothes!

One of the best properties Iv ever stayed at the staff where lovely and couldn’t do enough for you the rooms are nice the beach and pools lovely but the staff definitely topped it off can’t wait to go back.

The hotel staff were really helpful and super nice. The hotel looked great once you get inside,it was beautiful and modern and had great facilities.we got welcome drinks on arrival and the hotel got me a lovely cake for my birthday which was so nice of them. The staff were attentive and friendly.

Before getting to the hotel we were worried because the street leading up the hotel was really run down.but when we got to the hotel it was lovely. we have issues with the heating system in the room for the first 2 nights, it was way too hot and we called reception to have someone come fix it but the person they sent initially couldn’t fix it so we were sleeping in a extremely hot room for 2 night because the heating and cooling system wasn’t working. Also for the first 2 night they didn’t have the right number of towels and robes for the number of people the room was booked for so they attention to detail wasn’t the best in regards to that but everything else was great, we all got great massages in the spa.

The hotel is great. The architecture of this place is mind-blowing, the rooms are very pretty, the pools are clean and offerring a pleasant swim, the breakfast buffet was delicious, and the staff is really nice. The fact that the hotel is right by the beach and that you can lie on the beach and go swim in the pool at the same time sets this hotel apart from most hotels in the Rethymno city. Another great thing about the location of the hotel is that you can walk to the nearby tavernas for lunch or dinner or to the city centre (it's a 35-minutes walk to the old town). We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. We also liked the "adults-only" atmosphere - it was very peaceful at the pools and the beach. The hotel and the whole city also feels very safe and there is nobody who would disturb you at the beach (as it is common on some other touristic places).

The only thing that I would change in the room is that it would be appreciated to have more wardrobes/drawers. The wardrobe is too small for two people if you are coming for a longer vacation (we were here for 10 days), so we had to have our clothes in the suitcases. Our recommendation regarding options for lunch and dinner: if you like exploring Greek dishes and going out for lunch/dinner, we recommend that you do not pay for the all inclusive option but instead go eat out at tavernas nearby. Nearby tavernas are much cheaper than the all inclusive package in the hotel and the food there is great.

The hotel is beautiful and modern and directly on the beach. It is extremely clean: we experienced a sand storm while we were there, the entire island turned orange for several days but the hotel was back to normal in less than half a day. The service is exceptional and all employees are very friendly and attentive to all details. For example, it was my husbands birthday and they had a full cake delivered to our room (without us even asking!) Also loved the great breakfast buffet and the facilities overall. The valet parking service is very convenient. Also really appreciated the free offering of sport classes several times a week (yoga, Pilates, bootcamp and aquagym). Great that there is an indoor pool and a spa in case of a rainy day.

There really isn’t much to complain about. To make it even better: I wish the gym was bigger (it’s full as of 3 people and equipment is basic). Also the app used to book services is quite average (I could not see what I have booked already or cancel in case my plans change). I also think they could do a better job at advertising their in house restaurants: we only discovered one of them on the very last day because it’s a bit hidden but we were also happy to explore the surroundings anyway. All in all very minor suggestions but I wouldn’t even say these are dislikes! We loved the hotel!

We loved everything

The only thing that really bothered me was that the water was frozen, we took a room with a pool, we didn't enter it once, it was simply impossible, the hotel's large pools also had frozen water, we almost couldn't get in there either.
