The hotel is located on a hill, close to the port. It has a breathtaking view. We colud admire at once the sea, the hills, the beach, the small village and the beautiful bouganvillea along the hotel terrace. The apartment was cozy, clean and the kitchenette good equipped. We took breakfast from our terrace, while admiring the lovely view. The parking place was in the hotel area, Vardia beach is located behind the hotel. You just had to go down some steps to get to the beach. The host was very friendly and helpfull, he gave us usefull information about the island upon our arrival. Late check out was also possible. Very friendly gentleman at the reception, if I remember correctly, his name was Jorgos. He gave all the information about what to see on the island, which are the beautiful beaches, how the taxi boats work. If you needed anything, he arranged everything. The breakfasts were excellent, but the offer was the same every day. The rooms are very clean, they are also cleaned every day. The location of the hotel is also very good, close to the port and the beach on one and the other side of the hotel. They offered free transportation from the port, although it was a very short walking distance. The view from the room was phenomenal. I have to admit that this island was one of my favorites in the Cyclades, as was this accommodation.

We had a deluxe sea view room (it was definitely worth paying a little extra for this) and we loved that from the balcony on one side of the room we could watch the comings and goings in the port, while from the balcony on the other side we could see the quiet beach and sea behind the hotel. The breakfast was very good and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The manager gave us so much information and advice about the island and what to do, which we really appreciated. Also there is very convenient off-street parking available.

Occasionally the drains smelled a little in the bathroom.

While the property itself is somewhat dated, it more than makes up for it with its charm, cleanliness, and hospitality. The room was surprisingly spacious, tidy and spotless. One of the highlights was definitely the two balconies — both offered absolutely superb views, making it a perfect spot to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ready to assist with a smile and genuine warmth. The location is also a major plus: just steps away from the ferry terminal, and within easy walking distance of the local market and vehicle rental agencies, which made getting around incredibly convenient.

We booked Vardia Bay because we wanted a place close to the port for 1 night so we weren’t too fussy when we booked. What I didn’t expect was to be impressed with the property. It’s the first hotel you see as you enter the port. Perched on the hillside, gleaming white terraces framed in vibrant bougainvillea. We were greeted at the port and transferred to our room in less than 10 minutes! Beautiful views from our terrace. Steps leading down a beach are less than 20m from the hotel.

Breakfast was satisfactory but that was to be expected based on the price we paid.

The property was in a perfect spot in the port overlooking two different beaches on either side. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, and the studio was cosy and cute. The top floor studio that I had had two balconies, one on either side facing a different view of the ocean or the bluest water in the bay. I would definitely stay here again. The property is also close to the bus stop where you can pay cash or card €2 on the bus into chora or other places.

We enjoyed a lot VARDIA BAY , fantastic position with see view from our balcony , clean room and very friendly people . Geōrgiōs has been super with us with nice suggestions :-) We’re already planning to return there next year

The unique very little minus was the fact that still being in low season the breakfast was not served at the vardia but in another hotel (breakfast was excellent anyway).

The location overlooked the port which meant we had a great view. It was handy to all the local tavernas as well as a local bakery and supermarket which allowed us to buy the local food and then cook it in our self contained studio. Breakfast was included and we enjoyed being able to sit in the outdoor breakfast area. There was a good selection to choose from.

It was very windy and having an umbrella up on the balcony was not always possible. Maybe having a permanent covered section on the balcony could be an option.

The location was perfect. Right on the port so could access everything from the bus, the ferries, the restaurants bars and the beach. The panoramic view room had 2 balconies, one overlooking the port and one a fabulous secluded beach. It had 2 beaches depending which one you preferred. Breakfast was lovely on the hotel terraces. George, the host was exceptional. Very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. He arranged for me to be picked up from the ferry and dropped off when I left. A wonderful stay and would definately stay there again if I go to Falegandros.

Our experience at this hotel was good. The hotel manager was especially helpful and informative. The room was small, but clean and had all we needed for our one-night stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom, shower was nice, but a tad tight. The breakfast was very good with a variety of food options to select from. The hotel is also in a good location, right at the port. There were a few restaurants and markets close by, but the more interesting choice of restaurants were in a neighboring town of Chora about 3½ miles away. I recommend renting a car, motorcycle, or a “moto” (4-wheeler) as we did. It will be needed to see more. Try Spiro’s place close to the hotel. He was fair with his pricing. I recommend this hotel, if you are seeking a fair price and not seeking a 4 or 5-star accommodation.
