The property was a 5 min walk into the Chora and views of Church of Panagia and Chora from our balcony were absolutely magnificent. We sat on our balcony and watched the sunset over the mountain on several occasions.The room was clean and modern. The pool was clean and there was a view of the sea one the Chora and Church from the beds. When we were here in June we had the pool to ourselves.Hosts were really friendly and collected us from the Port and gave us a lift to the port when we left. I would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely come back to this hotel.10 out of 10 for us.

Nothing we didn’t like.

We were picked up from the port (and taken back to the port) - all free of charge - which was a great start. We were a group of friends and had booked 3 rooms. All the rooms were different but all had stunning views of the sea and nearby Folegandros town perched on the rocks. There is a very pleasant swimming pool on site and a tasty breakfast can be purchased and enjoyed on the patio The walk into town took 5 - 10 minutes (a bit of a steep path for about 75 metres). We stayed at the begining of September and found the centre of Folegandros town to be a vibrant place to dine out with numerous tavernas and bars. Our whole experience was a definite thumbs up for Folegandros.

All aspects of our stay were positive.

Fantastic location with amazing views from the room and pool. So close to the Chora, the short steep hill at the side of the hotel was OK for us, but probably not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The room decor was lovely and bed so comfy. Didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. There is nothing bad to say about this hotel, we'll definitely come back. The owners were lovely too, providing transport to and from the port. Unfortunately, had to cut our 5 nights to 3 as the wind was predicted to be very strong on the day we were to leave, so sadly rearrange our ferry.

10/10 recommend this hotel! From the check in to check out, everything was perfect. The room itself was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. I walked in and was speechless, as I felt the photos online did not do this place justice. The outside pool area and walking space to the rooms had panoramic views of the sea and chora, complete with the view of the Panagia. The location was just outside of the chora, so it’s a very short walk to the centre but without the chaos (only a few mins walk). Keep in mind that there is a bit of a steep hill to get in and out of the property. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable and memorable. I will definitely be back :)

We had a fantastic stay at Anemousa! The hotel's location offered breathtaking views of the sea next to the village (Chora) . The host picked us up from the port . They were very welcoming and helpful. The room was impeccably clean and quiet, making it the perfect escape. We especially appreciated the pool's placement, away from the rooms, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere. A truly relaxing experience. Highly recommend!

What a gem!!! This hotel exceeded our expectations. The pictures didn't do the property justice. The rooms were very clean, modern, comfortable and spacious. Bathroom was a very good size as well. Bed was very comfortable and we had an amazing view from bed and the porch. The pool area was breathtaking with unobstructed sea views and of the church on the hill. Our host was amazing. Unfortunately our ferry was cancelled due to winds and he was able to accommodate our changes without any issue. We were also able to book transfers to and from the port which were complimentary (the only on our entire trip). The accommodation was located only a short walk from the main town, close enough to come and go during the day but far enough to not be impacted by noise and movement from the town. Overall this accommodation was perfect for us and we will return.

It has definitely the best location and the best view.

Honestly, it was everything fine and the room was new. We would just friendly suggest to maybe change and add 2 more pillows, also there is some noise that comes and goes 24/7 (water system we guess..).. I am a light sleeper and it was unexpected. But we were very happy there and we hope to come back again!

What a lovely family run hotel. Absolutely glorious and breathtaking sea views from the terrace of your room, from bed, and from the wonderful swimming pool. I don't think that the photos do it proper justice. Quiet and calm location just a few minutes short walk along a footpath or the main road to Chora. Internet worked well, bed was comfortable, room was airy and spacious with multiple windows and french doors to the terrace. Easy to catch the local bus, park a hired scooter or connect to walking trails from the hotel. They even provided pick up and drop off to the port. It will help you fall in love with Folegandros. Stay here - you won't be sorry!

We absolutely loved our stay at Anemousa! The hotel is in a perfect location with a stunning view. The room was spacious and in a beautiful Greek style. We also really enjoyed the pool! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hot water didn’t always last very long but this wasn’t a big issue.

Our stay at anemousa was perfect! The location, the view, the owners, everything was 10/10. So peaceful and the views were incredible from the room and the pool area. Everything was super clean the rooms and surroundings areas. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting folegandros.
