The thoughtful female hotel receptionist allowed us to use some utensils when we were hungry trying to fix us a quick meal at late hours. It was very helpful. The scrumptious breakfast was superb. I even got myself freshly squeezed orange juice from an orange squeezer on site. It adds fun for my 4am breakfast. The morning receptionist also served as a hotel shuttle driver. He was patient, caring, helpful and courteous. The 5-min shuttle ride to the airport was very smooth. Upon arriving, he showed us to the right way to get to our ticket counter because there are French side and Swiss side on different floor for the same airport. He made sure we totally understood it. That extra caring was deeply appreciated. Bravo to him!!

The hotel location - no bus, no train, nor shuttle to reach to that hotel even google maps show the hotel only 5 min drive to the airport. Near airport does not mean you can get there easier or for free. We had to hire a taxi driver the night before by paying $37 out of pocket to arrive to the hotel. No one knows/expects that extra expense during booking. What a bummer!! The call is tough - Do I want to save money or do I want worry-free on my flying date?

We loved our stay at Ibis Styles. We came in late and appreciated the 24 hour desk with the warm welcome. We also appreciated the shuttle back to the airport the next morning. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet the next morning. I’d definitely recommend the hotel for travellers wanting a stay near the airport.

We wish there could have been a shuttle from the airport to the hotel as it was a bit more difficult getting a taxi than we expected but we managed.

We've stayed here before and will likely stay again, because it is reasonably priced, is clean, tidy and very close to Basel airport. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included again, which is a nice bonus. Rooms are clean and tidy. We used the shuttle to the airport this time, which is a really helpful service the hotel provides.

This is our second stay and we found some of the lights in the room didn't work this time. Not really a problem as we were only staying over for one night.

Convenient for late flight, comfy room, great shower and very friendly staff. A very kind guy working at reception even gave us a free lift to airport in the morning! Much appreciated.

Nothing really, except we didn’t do our homework about how to get from airport to hotel late at night. It is only an 8 min drive, but couldn’t get taxi and buses were hard to work out. In end got transfer bus half way and walked rest. Next time will communicate with hotel to arrange! Our fault though!

Close to the airport, great early morning breakfast and was very clean. The staff were helpful and very friendly.

A free shuttle back to the airport is offered to guests, I tried to book this for the following morning of my stay to be told they’re not doing shuttles as a road was shut and I should ring for a taxi and pay €50 to get to the airport. Which makes no sense as the shuttle would’ve had to go the same route as the taxi. I wasn’t very happy as I have had to pay out more money due to my understanding there was a free shuttle.

Great location, easy to get to from the French side of Basel airport (and easy enough to walk there as well). Ample free parking. Rooms were reasonable in size for the price and quite comfortable. Good shower. Our booking via Booking.Com included breakfast, which was handy. Friendly staff, who spoke perfect English when my schoolboy French failed me.

Aircon unit was a little noisy, as is the road outside, so bring earplugs for a good night sleep.

Excellent location from airport. Train is close by to travel directly to Basel. Hotel is styled off race tracks which was cool and nice little touches in room. There is a large supermarket close by which was handy. Breakfast was a little skimped but was okay. Felt like a safe area and had enough parking outside. Hotel room was clean and had a decent amount of facilities. Staff was friendly and had a good amount of English. Definitely stay again

The airport is 5 minutes away via car and around 30 minutes from Basel's main attractions. It is located on the French border. If you want to save travel money, go through the airport & exit from the Swiss side and get the bus to the city centre. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful, our room was clean with simple decor. We had a decent breakfast included in the price. Breakfast starts from 4 am to 10/11 am. The location is quiet and peaceful.

When we arrived, we called the hotel 5 times to say we had arrived however no one answered us. Could have been an issue with my network or theirs but it was ringing.

We always stop here on our way from Belgium to Italy. The location is absolutely perfect, right by the highway, just before Switzerland, with supermarket, bakery, gas station and a few restaurants all within walking distance. The area is quiet despite the proximity to highway and airport. The rooms (and bathrooms) are small, but clean and well arranged, perfect for a 1-night stay. Staff has always been very nice. Breakfast is very nice, too. Really, nothing to complain. Parking available and dogs welcome.

Staff were lovely and friendly, ensured I got to the airport in time for my early morning flight. Even offered to help carry my bags upstairs! Room was comfortable and clean with a nice selection for breakfast!

Not something I didn't like, just something to be aware of if you're arriving late like I did is that public transport options from the airport to Blotzheim are nonexistent. That clearly isn't the hotel's issue, they were brilliant and I would stay here again!
