The hotel was smart, the staff were very helpful and the location was great.

The 'artsy' design was a triumph of design over convenience and practicality. The tiny desk and stool in the bedroom was not particularly useful or comfortable. There was no small table on which we could put drinks when sitting in the two small bucket chairs at the end of the bed to watch the TV. There was minimal shelf/drawer space and a large unused space in the bedroom which would have been ideal for a chest of drawers. The breakfast was nice enough but came in bit and pieces and the tables for two were too small.

Incredible little boutique hotel! It went above our expectations. The building is well renovated with a beautiful staircase up to the rooms. The rooms are clean and bright with all the amenities you'd need in a 5* hotel. We booked our room in the main building, which had large windows overlooking a beautiful park. The manager himself was very warm and welcoming and took us up to our rooms himself. They sent us a great list of recommendations for restaurants and activities near by. Breakfast is a la carte menu – small but healthy and clean. The pool is on a peaceful scenic rooftop. Service by all staff was impeccable. Location is perfect, with everything in walking distance but yet in a peaceful part of town. Overall perfect stay.

Perfect location, lovely decoration with a mix of classy and modern facilities. The swimming pool is quite small but a great plus by a hot day! Rooms were very quiet and reception super helpful with local recommendations…

The service at breakfast was well below expectations, with waiter simply not very professional and even forgetting our order and coming after 20’ to ask again what we wanted (although there was literally only one other table of guest apart from us…). Probably a very junior/inexperienced staff member but not what you’d expect for that category of hotels.

Artsy Hotel is a wonderful boutique hotel where the attention to details was impeccable: the valet parking service, the complimentary evening room service, the personalised book sign I received because I had a book on the bedside table, very helpful staff that helped us organise everything we wanted, very tasty breakfast, extremely comfortable bed (we couldn't wait to come back to the room in the evening!) and unbeatable location, all this details make us dream of coming back on day.

An incredible experience! Such a beautiful hotel. Wife and I stayed for 2 nights in a Signature Suite with Ocean View room. Too many positives to list!! Valet parking is really helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Bed was delightful. Smart TV allows phone casting. Wi-Fi is good. The hotel location is perfect. Short walk to the city centre and the coastal walking/bicycle trail. The staff are welcoming/friendly and super helpful. The restaurant is AMAZING!! We had dinner and breakfast - both fantastic experiences. We hired bicycles from the hotel and went on a 20km ride. Was easy to organise, a good price and very convenient. Our shower leaked a bit, but this didn't bother us! Would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Cascais!!

Spacious room, location and proximity to the beach and main city sites but a little removed so it feels quiet and private, wonderful service. The staff was warm, welcoming, and thoughtful from the moment we arrived. My husband and I were on visiting for our anniversary and the team helped us celebrate with a bottle of champagne and macarons waiting for us in the room. It was a lovely touch for a special vacation. They also provided great recommendations to eat and visit around the area. We loved that they were able to coordinate bike rentals relatively last minute and explore other beaches outside of the main city center -- even supplying us with beach towels for our trip to Praia do Guincho (our favorite!) After the hustle and bustle of a couple of nights in Lisbon, this was a relaxing respite from the intensity of the city.

It's still a new hotel so there are some kinks to be worked out. The elevator was not working while we were there and the shower kept leaking water into the main bathroom. But some of that is out of anyone's control or can be fixed with more time.

The hotel and room itself were beautiful. We stayed in the Artist room and were amazed by the design and features of the room. The rooftop pool was so relaxing and the breakfast (included) was outstanding. This breakfast had an amazing menu and everything was made to order. The hotel staff was so friendly and made everyone feel at home. They hosted a Friday happy hour on the rooftop that was super thoughtful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I hope I can make it back to Cascais at some point to return just for the hotel!

Breakfast starts a little later at 8. We had an early flight so we weren’t able to have one last amazing breakfast at the hotel. But, they did offer to make us breakfast boxes! Really thought they went above and beyond.

The staff was wonderful! They gave us a beautiful tour of the property when we arrived, showing us the concept behind the hotel - the blending of art and history (Artsy). They were extremely accommodating for every request. The daily breakfast that was included exceeded my expectations in every way. My friend is gluten intolerant which I had specified when we made the reservation, and the server who took care of us at breakfast appeared with fresh-baked gluten-free bread, which was totally unexpected. The location was superb - right on the bike path, right on the water, and around the corner from the shopping and restaurants. It was all impressive, but the staff members were what set this property apart for me. When they discovered that I was departing early in the morning, they prepared me a box lunch so that I could have breakfast on the ride to the airport. Such a thoughtful touch. 10/10!

The position is amazing, the breakfast exquisite and the staff some of the best and most accommodating I’ve met in a long time! The roof terrace although compact is superb

The shower in our room leaked and each shower resulted in a foot bath after! This was reported and a fix was attempted then we were moved which was fine. The hotel does have a problem with bin collection noise at 630 every morning the local bin men decide to compact the waste outside.
