The resort has a large pool, which on weekdays we frequently had to ourselves. The restaurant is excellent. We ate all our meals there and they were all tasty. The staff are helpful, friendly, polite and welcoming. The accommodation over the water looked rustic on the outside but was comfortable and well done. The pick up and drop off from and to the Singapore ferry was very smooth and easy. Wifi worked well - even enabling an international work call down by the pool.

We would have liked a quiet relaxing space to go to after dinner - the bar and restaurant often had competing music systems. The deck on our accommodation was not very comfortable for sitting out on (a stool, not a chair) for very long.

Ktm resort is tucked away in a quieter part of batam and is perfect for a tranquil getaway far from the city. Would be ideal for people who plan to stay in the resort for their whole trip as the ride to the more happening part of the island would take up to an hour depending on traffic. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating from the time i booked the trip till the very last day of my stay. Even going as far as settling my ferry from Singapore and arranging a pick up to and from the ferry terminal. Would 100% recommend this place based on customer service alone, it is the best i have ever experienced. Pool was clean and had ample sun loungers to accommodate a decent amount of people at once. They also have a small water sports shop that provided various water sports activities like snorkeling and jet skiing. My gf and I went for an island hopping tour and was thoroughly impressed by how well planned it was.

Our room did have a vomit odour for the first day upon check in

It is a beautiful resort and location, nice views, nice pool, rooms are clean, and the free ferry terminal is handy as well. The food at the restaurants was quite good, but a bit pricey, especially at the on-site bar. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in the Seaside rooms, and they are very small, I have stayed in rooms in Batam that is double the size and 3 times cheaper, so I guess the view of the Singapore skyline is worth $40 by itself. The man-made little lagoon I believe is a great idea, but needs to be maintained better, loads of trash floating around and the water in general wasn't very clean.

Super cosy room with really comfy bed. Staff were always smiling and put in their best effort to make sure I had a pleasant stay. Food in the indonesian restaurant was delicious and they also do a mean pina colada in the western restaurant. Spa was amazing- I had to go back for more. Pool area is very nice.

Some construction happening in front of my room which meant the view from the balcony was not nice. Also, some construction noise was heard during the daytime from a nearby port from the room. The hotel generally needs a bit of an upgrade, it is quite old fashioned and run down but was perfect for what I needed. I had a wonderful time there.

Super friendly, respectful and polite personal. The food was amazing. The restaurant Layang offers Indonesian food. Everything we tried there was delicious, fresh juices, fresh coconut water, freshly prepared food. Everything was a phone call away and they would send it to our door step. The location was breath-taking. Perfect if you're looking for time away from city-life. They offer water sports as well, amazing spa and very nice environment overall.

There is nothing specific I didn't like. The breakfast could have been more diverse but it was still very nice.

We requested for our 3 villa be closed to each other with a good view point and a garden setting and all was granted. Our late check in at evening was fast and efficient. The buggy was already waiting for us and less than 5 mins we already in our villa. Everyone of us happy with the comfortable peaceful stay 3 days 2 nights. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We had plenty of drink choices too. We managed to use the pool on our 2nd night and ordered some red wine and 3 kinds figure foods. The music & songs was great and some requested songs was good too. It's nice to see a firework just right beside our bar while we were having a great time with music, wine and food. Breakfast staff was quick to do our request at the egg station and the hardworking buggy drivers wasvquick to pick or send us to and from our villa at the most highest point. There were some monkeys with their families on our 2nd day morning but they were gone in less than an hour and they did not make any unpleasant scene too.

A mosquito or 2 at the beach area at night, beside the ombak bar. The tuck shop with limited items, can bring in souvenirs for selling or swimming costume, t-shirts. May be put a vending machine since at night the tuck shop closed for business. May be a sign board be put up by the kwan yin temple as we as tourist also curious and want to the history and culture of its existence in the resort facility.

🌟 🌟 We had the pleasure of staying at this Sekupang resort, and we can't recommend it enough! The tranquility and quietness of the location offered us a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of life. We truly felt grounded with nature, as the sounds of the waves and the gentle breeze created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The breakfast array was impressive, with a selection that catered to every taste. There was something for everyone, and each meal was a delightful experience that set the tone for the day. We would like to give a special shoutout to the friendly and homely staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. The ladies at the restaurant were incredibly attentive, fulfilling our every request with cheerful smiles. Additionally, a big thank you to Ridodo from the pizza cafe for catering to our birthday request on our first night. It made our celebration even more memorable! The security at the resort also made us feel safe and at ease, allowing us to fully enjoy our time without any worries. Overall, this resort is a hidden gem for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. We can't wait to return!

The location of the resort was beautiful, and the room was spacious and clean. We're really enjoyed the stayed with the resort vibes which it has a nice view to the sea , there's also hammock above the sea near to pool. We ordered a pizza from the resort's restaurant and the taste is really nice. Definitely we will repeat our stay while visiting Batam again soon. Overall, it really one of the best places for healing in Batam.

A dim light after the entrance, whereby it has area with sink & coffee/small dining table in the unit that we stayed. I suggest to put more light near this area so we can see the pizza which we ordered clearly :)

Though I booked it pretty last minute and didn't notify them on my arrival time, we managed to arrange for a complimentary shuttle drive in a 7 seater car from Sekupang Harbour to the hotel lobby. The 5 minutes drive gave us an idea of the location and neighbourhood vibes of the resort. It is located away from the bustling city of Nagoya and busy port of Sekupang. The resort boasts all the amenities you would need for a quiet getaway - local food at the restaurant, western cuisine at the Ombak Bar, Kwan In Temple, in-room massage, not busy poolside, barbecue space. The facilities and rooms are all well spaced, which gives you a good sense of serenity. Buggy service can be called from the room and grab service are also easy to book. The staff are really thoughtful and attentive. I'm disheartened not to give selected shoutouts - buggy driver, restaurant staffs! Things to note: we were needed to prepare a 50k IDR or SGD50 deposit for out 2D1N stay that was refunded later.

My family wasn't sure how the heater worked and really struggled with getting the right temperature for a shower - scalding steaming hot, or cold room temperature water.

The rooms are clean and I love that the location is far from the city centre. It gives the family the much needed time to enjoy outdoors and each other’s company. The rooms are clean and well maintained. There is also a temple within the premises which gives us an opportunity to understand the religion and culture of others.

The place will be more awesome if they could cater play areas for younger children. Having saying that, they do have a slide and sand toys for kids to enjoy.
