The reviews I read were all correct…the room was surprisingly was very, very clean and comfortable.

What I didn’t like is there were no chains on the door to prevent housekeeping from opening door to room. (And no “Do not Disturb” door hangers to let housekeeping know not to come in) Both of these are a necessity.

There was no breakfast offered. The room was very clean and recently updated. Everything worked and the bed was comfortable.

There should have been a grab bar in the tub/shower. The tub was very high to step over with nothing to hold onto and the tub was slippery.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly. Although it was small, it was adequate with 2 double beds, a table with 2 chairs, a good size refrigerator with freezer, and a microwave. I also liked that the sink was outside the shower/toilet area. The room darkening shades helped us sleep great! The cost for the room was the best price in town.

The room smelled too strong from a cleaning agent, the microwave could operate without the door being closed completely.

Cleanliness, friendly and helpful presence of the owner and wife at reception and assistance in restaurant recommendations, excellent condition of room/bathroom facilies/shower water pressure/bed/linens etc.

The location was convenient for our travel. The place was clean. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed at a good price. We would recommend it to our friends.

This little hotel exceeded our expectations by far! Not only was it close to Shenandoah Park, it was spotlessly clean, great water pressure in the shower, and the most comfortable "FIRM" beds ever! So many hotels, even the expensive ones have beds one sinks into which is horrible for our backs. This one was perfect! And a great price too! We also had a wonderful interaction with the woman who signed us in when we arrived. Very nice!

Good value. No breakfast provided. It was not expected for the price paid. I noted tha I was put in an available room furthest away from the busy (4 lane) street.

Location - distance from downtown. Again not a big issue for the price paid.

Management is flexible and kind, great family run business. Clean place to rest for the night, cool outdoor gazebo and room service is available.
