Beds, pillows, shower, cleanliness, modern look and ice water available. Staff were excellent at counter and breakfast. Love coffee creamer , waffles, juice , meat and eggs for breakfast. Staff kept everything clean and full even though they had an entire basketball team there.

No ice in the only ice machine available which was on 5th floor. Had a little in morning. Didn’t have as many options available as Comfort Inn, hot sauce, biscuits and gravy. But the price was mush better than Comfort Inn the night before.

Lady at the front desk was awesome; professional, welcoming and helpful. The location was great as we could walk to a variety of eating establishments, but it was a bit noisy due to the proximity of the on ramp to the highway.

There were potato chips between the mattress and box springs-my husband likes to make the bed to suit him. Also there was a spider spinning a web inside the toilet. I tried to point it out to my husband and looking closely saw the underside of the rim was very dirty and the spider was gone as I guess he went away when I flushed. Totally creeped me out.

The room and the bath were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, with hot items, oatmeal, cereals, and fresh fruit. The location was a few minutes outside Winchester, but still on the main highways traversing the Shenandoah Valley. There are a few restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel was short on staff, so room cleaning service was not available each day (we had to go to the desk for fresh towels, soaps). There were lots of pets in the hotel--honestly, dogs were everywhere. So, if you someone who travels with their pet, maybe this would be a plus, but it wasn't for us. But overall, no major complaints.

Breakfast was typical. Staff was friendly. Did lose internet one night but after they reset it, it worked fine.

Sign on the counter said "helping another customer, be back shortly" but I could hear chit chatting and laughing for several minutes when I was trying to check in. Same happened the following night...no one at front desk...maybe a camera so if they are in the back, they can see when someone is waiting.

Called to tell them I’d have a later than expected arrival and they were kindly reassuring my room would be available. I had my dog with me as planned and everything was excellent! Great comfortable and clean room easily accessible to outside for my dog. Four restaurants, a grocery store, and a gas station within walking distance. Perfect spot for a weary traveler! My third time staying here.

I stayed at the Country Inn and Suites for a week. I was not sure if my sister could join me so I booked as a solo traveler. This means safety was a priority. For me safety also means a walk-in shower. I was given the room closest to the front desk, handicap accessible. Actually, wheelchair accessible (which I did not need) and close to handicap parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I booked a king size bed. When my sister was able to join me for 3 nights, we decided to just arrange pillows (surely we slept in the same bed when we were kids!) To facilitate our own movements in the room we did not ask to have the room made up but only fresh towels. The cleaning staff might have thought we were nuts, but were very kind about it. By the end of my stay I had a sense that the front desk knew I was an older, solo traveler and kept an eye out for me. As a plus the location was close to I 81, but not at the nutty intersection of I 81 and I 66. There were: a McDonalds, Out Back Steak House, 7-11, Cabrerra's Italian Restaurant all within view of the front of the hotel. We were visiting yet another sister and getting to her house was easy, even on dark nights! [Also 2 gas stations.] I love STRONG coffee and brought my own. The coffee pot was a four cup cuisenart with a cone basket. Perfect! Breakfast was plentiful. It was typical hotel fare, but that never bothers me. Bagels, muffins, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles, 3 different ways to have toast, juice, etc. So many choices.

There were 3 things that bothered me, both easily fixable. 1. Both CNN and MSNBC were blocked. Only National News was on Fox. This concerned me because I live in Maine and arrived the day after the mass shooting in Lewiston and wanted to see the news on CNN. Number 2: There was a summer weight comforter on the bed, but it only went waist high. Since it is now definitely fall I would have liked to see one that covered my arms. There was a blanket in the room for me to use. And lots of pillows. Also, we experienced quite a temperature change, from cool to wanting heat to 80F and needing AC. This leads to my 3rd comment. Number 3: There was no written-on-paper information on how to turn the heat or AC on, nor TV channels. Another easy-to-fix problem.

The breakfast was delicious and every staff member we encountered was super helpful and cheerful. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. Overall, the price was very reasonable and the accommodations exceeded our expectations.

The pool was closed, which wasn't a major issue this trip, but would have been a bit of a bummer if we had more leiaure time this trip.

The location was very good for the places we were visiting. Despite being near the interstate, the rooms were quiet. The staff were very nice and helpful. The first night the room we had smelled musty or moldy, I asked the front desk clerk about changing rooms, and she very kindly moved us to a room that was clean and fresh.

The room was very comfortable. Easy thermostat to control temps. The room was quiet but we were the last in the hall. Plenty of towels and the hand soap bar was exceptionally creamy and foamy. So many choices of tea for breakfast along with coffees, creamers and even hot chocolate. We arrived late but our location had many restaurants nearby if needed. A little complicated to find but easier to get back on interstate.

The elevator had really loud dings and we were glad not to be situated near them.

Room was very clean and reasonably sized with attractive furnishings. Breakfast was very good - lots of choices, including fresh waffles from two available waffle makers. Friendly staff. Proximity to good restaurants, several within easy walking distance. Fresh coffee and cookies in lobby. Proximity to highways (but a two-edged sword, see below). Value was good.

Nearby highways were quite busy and noisy - not enough to ruin sleep but louder than desirable. Beds were comfortable for one traveler, too stiff for the other so just a matter of preference. Pillows were too small for the bed - they are the size of big sofa pillows.
