We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at the Acanthus Cennet Barut Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. To our delight, we were upgraded to a rooftop suite with a private jacuzzi. The food was outstanding, with an impressive variety and quality that made every meal a highlight. They had mushroom evening! And they served also Hipp baby food. Excellent massage at the spa. Do not forget to bargain about the prices. The service throughout the hotel was warm and attentive, always going the extra mile. Extras like the tennis court, pillow menu, and exceptionally comfortable beds added to the overall luxury feel. For families, the hotel shines—our little one was spoiled with a thoughtfully prepared set of baby and toddler essentials that made traveling with a child so much easier. And we can’t forget the pool—absolutely the longest and most serene we’ve ever seen in a resort. It’s perfect for both casual swimming and laps.

Setting was perfect, with a quiet private beach with space, unlike the adjacent hotels. The food outstanding, the staff very friendly and accommodating. It was always spotlessly clean everywhere, in every nook and cranny. We were lucky to have a swim up room (2010) which was away from the main pool and very private. Our room had quick and easy access to all main areas of the hotel complex.

Nothing! We have stayed in the Burj al Arab Dubai, Hotel Maya in Bali and the Rui Palace in Zanzibar, but the Acanthus for us was the best because it is relatively small with a very comfortable feel about it. Just perfect, well done Acanthus and team, bravo.

We spent 4 days in Acantus Cennet in the beginning of may with my wife. We expected a relaxed, slow down vibe and we absolutely got it. The hotel is compact enough for everything to be reachable in 2 min by foot and big enough not to feel always surrounded by people. The food / drinks were above expectations and a-la carte restaurants experience was top-notch. The quality of cuisine is excellent and trust me, I’ve seen enough of Michelin Stars restaurants to compare. But more importantly, the service and the atmosphere the team is creating is just bringing the soul of the evening to life. If you will have a chance to be served by Ali in Safran restaurant - consider yourself a lucky one, Ali will make your evening special, as he made ours for 2 nights in a row. Coming home recharged, refreshed and few kilos bigger, so good it was 🚀

The food was INCREDIBLE. My partner and I were impressed with every meal we had, we are not normally into buffets but we loved it. The Italian and Asian nights were some of favourites and there was a range of options in the a la carte restaurants also. The staff are all very attentive and friendly, they made the experience even better.

We had a small issue during our arrival, that the room allocated to us was not what we had booked. It was a family room and had 4 beds in it making the room small and a lot of wasted space. There was also no side sea view. I did return to speak with the reception who advised they couldn't move us to the room we booked until the next day. This was a little frustrating as we wanted to get settled in. It was quickly forgotten after the experience we had during the rest of our stay.

The size of the property, beach and the food was lovely.

The territory of the property is very nice, very well kept, nice cats, lots of chilling areas. Very calm environment, almost no kids. Service is overall very good, nice, attentive, fast stuff. Great location also for a nice walk to Side (which is a very lovely and interesting town!). Drink service at the pool and beach was very smooth. Good choice of food, the main buffet was great every day.

The beach was absolutely covered in seaweed. The app didn’t work for requests and reservations. Don’t expect some great food at the a la carte restaurants. The service is fine dining level but the food is very normal and basic, not great quality, especially the fish restaurant. It was a bit of disappointment.

It’s not usual 5* hotel, it’s beyond. Atmosphere and design of the place is ideal. Calm, classy place. Suite with your pool is perfect for kids. Been there before season start, so not many people which I love. Food is beyond expectations. Top.

Only possible minus - sparkling wine. Hotel of such class should change it for proper one as Prosecco or so. As they one used it not-drinkable.

Really really cold main swimming pool (in the end of October). Which is a shame - it was so cold we could not enjoy it, although the pool itself is very nice

They provided me with all the necessary information about the hotel and its amenities, as well as recommendations on the best places to visit and things to do in the area. As I walked through the hotel, I was struck by its elegance and attention to detail. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could need, including a comfortable bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a well-stocked minibar. The bathroom was also luxurious, with a tropical shower, fluffy towels, and high-quality toiletries. The balcony view was stunning. The hotel's restaurants were equally impressive, offering various delicious and expertly prepared dishes. There was something to suit every taste and preference, from traditional Turkish cuisine to international favorites. The drinks at the hotel's bars were also top-notch, with an extensive selection of beverages and cocktails. I absolutely adore deserts and cocktails! I have never tasted something better! The Hotel is very close to the old town and I have visited the archeological museum and the Amphitheater. Overall, my stay at Acanthus & Cennet Barut Collection Hotel was truly unforgettable!

Everything was great! There is nothing to dislike.

The hotel staff is absolutely top. We come back here every year for the quality of their service , the amazing food and the staff . We love Gulcan and Anastasia at the kids club - they always take good care of our daughter . Mehmet and Tuba from the animation team are great for many years , they have a good energy and they are very friendly and welcoming . Ferhat and Serdar -our first friends here - they do amazing service . We feel sorry that we are nominating as everyone here is so nice and helpful - we only had positive experiences. The team at guest relations is going above and beyond - the best team we ever met !!!! They found my daughters gold earring ; helped us save a hedgehog 🦔 that my daughter was very fond of, and helped us with any requests we had throughout the stay . The hotel is top and deserves an absolute 10!
