Nice sized apartment, in an excellent location - short walking distance to the centre and lots of nice restaurants around. With the apartment on the top floor, the small lift was a bonus, particularly in terms of getting suitcases to and from the apartment. An excellent little supermarket is a couple of minutes away, and the hotel can be accessed directly by water taxis (subject to the water level). Overall, very happy with the accommodation and would recommend to friends and family.

The second floor bedroom is only accessible via a steep flight of stairs, so not ideal for older guests, or very young ones. My teenage daughter was fine though, and enjoyed the separate space.

This was our second time staying at the Corte Nova and we loved the location and views over the canal. Our little balcony directly above the canal was perfect and we loved waking up each morning and stepping outside to check the weather. We liked that this hotel was close enough to easily walk to everything we wanted to see, but in a quiet residential area with a grocery story right across the canal. We would highly recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay here again.

There was a problem with the toilet flooding but it was dealt with right away, which was appreciated. The shower was small, but this was as expected.

Staying directly by the canal was an unforgettable experience — boats passed right under the window, and you could see a bridge from the side, creating a truly Venetian atmosphere. It even felt a bit like being on a cruise ship. The flat was spacious and clean, with a separate room for our child and all necessary facilities for preparing breakfast. There was a pleasant sea smell and no unpleasant odors. The location was good, offering multiple ways to explore Venice. The entrance door was heavy and very secure, which gave a good feeling of safety.

There were occasional noises from passing boats and rain hitting the roof and pipes, but it was not disturbing, probably because we were very tired after full days of exploring Venice. The flat was a little further from the main attractions than ideal, but still manageable. Adjusting the water temperature in the shower was tricky because it was very sensitive. Also, with heavy suitcases, you need to take a boat to reach the flat, but this is common in Venice.

Perfect location - close to the center, but distant enough from the main bustle to sleep quietly at night (we stayed in March and cannot say for a higher season). The flat is clean, spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Just across the bridge, about 30m away, is a good supermarket, so you can stock up on anything you might have forgotten. The Ospedale water bus station is a few minutes walk, which is exceptionally convenient for the airport commute. Tiziana at the reception was very friendly and helpful.

Just something to keep in mind if you're going to stay here. The staircase is quite steep, and the lift is only for luggage, so if your flat is not on the ground floor, be prepared to climb a few flights regularly.

The property was nice, well located and clean. We stayed there for 2 night at the beginning of the Carnival of Venice and at night there was a lot of noise on the street and we had trouble falling asleep. The bed was comfortable, the room was very big, the location was excelent.

The noise at night but maybe it was due to the Carnival period because there were a lot of people on the streets, even during the night. Also, I am very upset about the 200 € deposit that I had to pay. I was asked for my card number and I know that this is not safe to send your card details online, however the host accepted to show my card at the check in for the deposit, but my money were blocked for 1 month an 2 days. I have received them back today, and I stayed in Venice from 2nd of February, so it is not ok at all to keep all that money blocked. It was not an issue from my bank, I was at another hotel that asked for deposit and I received my money back in 3 days, so here it is a problem.

We were really impressed with the apartment and it exceeded our expectations. The apartment was spacious and clean with everything we needed for our stay. It felt like our safe haven from the heat of Venice in August. It was hard to persuade the kids to leave the apartment as they loved it. The location was perfect: very central/easy walking distance to main attractions and water bus but in a quiet street/area away from crowds and tourists. The staff were very friendly and helpful and carried our 4 heavy suitcases up 2 flights of stairs for us and lent me a charger for my phone. There was a fab supermarket only 5 mins walk away (it’s very close to the main Corte Nove building but our apartment was in a different building). Our stay was great and we’d definitely stay again if we return to Venice and would recommend to others.

No lift to the apartment but not expected in these old properties. Otherwise nothing we didn’t like. Fab place.

Apartment is very comfortable, well-maintained and cosy. Stayed in a 3-bedroom apartment which is a bit far from the main hotel. Location is really good, very quiet and peaceful street with interesting houses. Staff is very friendly and helpful, helped us with many advices.

Small nuances like Bathrobes and slippers not available; there is a kettle but not coffee, only tea was available - these details are nothing compared to the comfort and cleanliness that this place offers.

Everything! Absolutely amazing! Wonderful wonderful accommodation with everything ready for you. Incredibly clean too! Excellent location, very close to the water taxi stops. Loved the fact it was away from the crowds and only a few minutes away from the restaurants/bars. Very clean and some great views of the canal. Our host waited for us and was so nice. Great square footage for three and lots of room to hang out.

Read the instructions on the way to get to the property. We didn't read them and wandered aimlessly for awhile, but that was totally our fault. (Got to see alot of Venice anyway)

Modern, clean, comfortable accommodation comfortably sleeps 4 adults. Light and with all the essentials for a self catering stay. Small kitchen but had everything we needed.

My only issue was that we happened to travel to apartment in April on a very warm weekend and although property has AC we could not turn it on as there were no remote controls. TV only has Italian channels which my teenage kids didn’t enjoy. We only stayed 2 nights so it was ok.
