We booked 1 unit 2 bedroom villa , 1 unit of 1 bedroom villa and 1 cove garden room. The manager is very kind to upgrade the Cove garden to 1 bedroom Villa. Much appreciated for the kind gesture. Also since the villa is near mangrove, it will be great to provide insect repellant spray for body.. in this way the guest will feel the thoughtfulness of the hotel to provide this. Small matter do count. And mini bar snacks and non- alchohol drinks should be complimentary since this hotel is so far away from town. Guest will feel more welcome and happy for the thoughtful gesture.

Breakfast normal and less variety for the price we pay but since we not fussy eater so okay. Once reached the reception, we dont feel the welcome from staff. One of the staff requested us to give IC or passport upon check in for all residence. Most unprepared to bring along their ICs since they are local. Please inform before hand prior to our arrival via whatsapp so we all can prepare to bring along IC or a photo of IC for convenience sake.

We had an amazing 3 days at Cove 55. The rooms were spacious and bathrooms were amazing. We made great use of the pool which overlooked the bay and had a pool bar to enjoy a cocktail at as well. The food too was amazing for both breakfast and dinner, and had enough options for our fussy kids to chose from. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. I would stay here again for sure.

If you want to be near the bustle of the city, then this location will not be for you, as it's 40 min from Kuching centre.

Absolutely stunning hotel. Not just the hotel but the grounds and location. Right on the river with perfectly manicured gardens. The highlight has to be the pool! Bar staff at the pool super friendly and helpful. I had a 3 course dinner included in my stay which had many options to choose from. The Sarawak laksa was the best I've had. Room was so clean and with great light, comfy bed, cold fridge and balcony looking out to the gardens and pool. Would love to come back again! Staff booked me a car back to airport as Hotel was a little too far out to get a Grab. Very helpful!

I love everything about the place. It s beautiful, the location, the pool…The rooms are huge, luxurious with everything you need inside…but most of all it s the service who is exceptional, everyone is helpful and everything is made to makes you feel like a prince or princess. The food in the restaurant and for the breakfast was also really above expectations. Very often we are disappointed by food in resorts as it s expensive but has nothing special. Here it s simple but really well done, everything is fresh with real cooks. Hope I can come again!

Love it! A fabulous place to do nothing but relax and enjoy each other’s company. Staff are attentive, property beautiful and the rooms are really nice and clean, with a balcony to watch the night sky

Mosquitos at night if you sit outside it stay out. So stay in and close glass doors. Bring mosquito repellant.

Rooms were big, perfect for families. We stayed at the balcony suite and we could see the sea and sunrise. The pool was clean and had a good view. Breakfast was made to order, it was delicious. The staff were friendly and attending, and responsive. Cove 55 was clean and designed aesthetically.

Location can be a bit far off from city area, about 30mins drive so if you plan to eat out might have to drive out abit. Not much eateries around the hotel except for seafood restaurants. Breakfast you can only order one set, additional set have to top up and pay - the portion was sufficient for us but for big eaters might need to order more. Our balcony suite was on level 2, there is no lift so for families with children, pram and huge luggage might want to take rooms on the lower level or the garden villa

but there is a big problem with équipement for the price Not enough long chair at te swimming pool one rooms was smelling tobacco, AC broken and decoration so cheap a second d one early the same Which is not correct for this level of price The other room was splendid but one on tow is not acceptable Also all is a bit too big the garden, the bridge the restrooms then all is floating a bit

The staff is so friendly. My partner was ill when we stayed here, and they took such good care of us. The hotel is beautiful, especially the pool area is very nice. The rooms are very spacious and we really enjoyed the terrace in our garden room.

Be prepared that the hotel is quite remote: it's harder to find a grab, no possibilities to go to another restaurant ect. The restaurant menu is the only thing we found a bit dissapointing: lots of western food (pasta's, burger, sandwiches etc.). We would have liked a more local cuisine.

- Super nice location - Great pool - Friendly staff & in general very relaxed vibe - International visitors (European, Chinese, Malayan, etc.) - Because it‘s so small it felt like home (last night a huge group of German tourists came in a bus - that didn‘t fit to the overall atmosphere!!) - Very good & flexible restaurant (not overpriced), for Dinner as well as for Breakfast - Great tours (Satang!, Bako, Orang Utans) We had a wonderful time & will always recommend! Just don‘t do huge travel buses! Thank you!

Beautiful. Everything, from the room to the setting and the food to the facilities. We have never stayed anywhere where the staff are so on top of everything, super helpful, and genuine enjoy their work. The staff made everything so easy, helped with taxis, or the complimentary shuttle.
