Really friendly and helpful staff, the rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was functioning aircon, a secure safe, good size fridge with freezer department and a decent shower. The pool area and bar were very welcoming, although we didn't use it that much as were out and about all day. The location was great, very central in Platanias in walking distance of many restaurants, shops and the beach. We hired a car as we wanted to see more of the island and would definitely recommend doing that.

The rooms are quite basic but considering the price we paid they are extremely good value.There could do to be more storage for clothes, there was a large wardrobe but only a few hangers and no shelves or drawers, which would be better as we had to leave some items in our suitcases as nowhere to unpack them.

Everything. It is located right behind the main street but far away enough to be quiet and peaceful. The staff are kind and caring. The pool is much needed considering the heat and there is plenty shade around the pool. Food and drinks are available if you don’t want to go out for lunch. Restaurants and supermarkets everywhere around. Easy reach to beautiful destinations such as Elafonisi or in the mountains for a taste of cheese, honey and olive oil. We would definitely come back. Crete is a beautiful country with lovely people. Thank you to everyone for making us feel welcome and comfortable.

Amazing find, wonderful small family run hotel! Extremely close to everything (beach, restaurants, shops, supermarket). It is seriously underated, it should be rated at least as a 3-4* hotel. Super clean&updated, great pool and snacks by the pool. Felt like a 2nd home away from home, thank you again Dimitri&family for welcoming us!

Towels hanging hooks in the bathroom could be improved, but minor inconvenience. Everything else was perfect!

Could not fault this hotel, location was spot on, host was very helpful, great value for what we paid. Our return flight was late evening so Dimitris gave us a room to use after our checkout time. We booked the airport shuttle through the hotel 45 euros each way. The pool area was great for relaxing but most days we spent at the beach. There was a small cooking ring in the room, we didn't use but it was good to have a kettle and fridge etc.

Just needed a toaster in the room.

Definitely recommend!! Everything was perfect, room was very clean with everything we needed. Location is excellent as well, very close to the beach and to the main street where you can find lots of stores and good restaurants. Great service and very friendly staff. All guests can access the pool and there’s also a bar that serves drinks and good food at reasonable prices.

I had an amazing time at Amaryllis. The stuff was really friendly and warm. There is a snack bar at the pool where they serve great food. I highly recommend it for breakfast! The rooms were simple, but recently renovated and very clean. The location is perfect, just few steps from the main street but quiet. Very close to the beach as well. Great value for the money!

The hotel is amazing and the hosts are very welcoming. Our room was spacious and had a balcony with a nice view of the sunset. The bed was very confortable. For breakfast, there are many options and everything we tried was great. I also recommend spending some time at the pool while enjoying some amazing cocktails. We had a very relaxing vacation here and can't wait to come back.

Very nice hotel! The location is perfect but still not noisy. The room was big, good standard and clean. The pool area was nice, clean and not to crowded. Staff was very helpful and serviceminded. They def. know the value of taking care of their guest and also in a relaxed and not stressfull way. Would def. recomend the hotel, and i hope to comeback sometime soon.

The food was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The pool area was very comfortable. The location was a very short walk from restaurants and shops.

I stayed 4 nights at Amaryllis. The staff was very hospitable and friendly. They helped us suggesting where to go to eat and where to go parking (this has been very, very usefull!). Room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. Also shower was very spacious. We also tried the breakfast and lunch. Both delicious! The staff always asked to us if food was good. They also offered us some slice of cake. For sure I recommend this accomodation.

I would like to suggest to change the shower head since it was a little bit old.
