Our stay at Holiday Inn was very good albeit a few minor niggles relating to the cafe. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the room itself was excellent and had an extremely comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water and strong pressure for the shower too!

No lactose free milk - who in this age doesn't have it.....so no cereal or coffee! The cafe was not well stocked with food, always a wait for scrambled eggs and bacon for example. Some of the bain maries were empty for some time before being replenished. Being staffed by Indians, language was sometimes a barrier.

It was such an amazing experience. They have the best staff who were super friendly and efficient. We chose the breakfast included option, their buffet was amazing with an unbelievable range of food to select. Kids absolutely loved the food. Document printing service available, which was an added bonus as hubby had completely forgotten to print some documents for his overseas travel on the following day. Super clean and comfy room. All in all, it was such a wonderful experience, highly recommended, we will definitely book again

Not that I didn't like, but my only suggestion is, a microwave in the room would be a lovely addition (we have a 2 yo, who needs a warm bottle of fresh milk at night). Anyway, we purchased small long life milk packets on the following day. They have a shopping centre within walking distance, which was another plus point.

We were on the top floor. The room was very quiet and the bed was very comfy. The Dandelion restaurant was excellent and we ate their twice with friends. Staff were very good and friendly as well. Parking was very convenient. Right across the street from Dandenong Square shopping centre so ideal for a bit of retail therapy!

The air conditioning was set to summer settings and the room was a little cool compared to what we are used to. The duty manager fixed this very quickly. The shower could only be set at half pressure otherwise the water did not clear and came out of the bathroom door into the room. This was no big deal.

The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful, and the location was very convenient. The room was clean and spotless. It was so clean that even under the bed was vacuumed. The breakfast was well presented and fresh, and a good variety of food was provided. The place was presentable and inviting. The hotel was very environmentally friendly, and they have presented themselves to have a sustainable and ethical practice. From the minute you walk in and the amount of attention to details that they have put in to the design of the room and hotel in general to be customer centre is exceptional. The little details like easter eggs for the kids, usb charger, variety of pillow options, even different lighting in the room, it just made our experience as a family to Dandenong very different and memorable. You can tell the staff who works here are proud to be working in this hotel. Thank you Holiday Inn, thank you for making our family holiday so special!!

It would be an added bonus to have a freezer section inside the bar fridge. Other than this, it was a very enjoyable stay at Holiday Inn.

We did not include breakfast in our booking. The room was cozy but fit all our four luggages. Loved the “soft” and “firm” pillows!! The smart TV was also great but we encountered a glitch on our last night. But it was fixed.

The staff was probably on a break or were we just expecting too much for a bellhop? We needed help with a luggage trolley on our way out but no one assisted me and my Mum (carrying our luggages to the trolley and pushing it to the elevator as well as into and out at the lobby). We earlier requested for assistance and the desk person said she was alone but will try to get somebody to help. So the trolley came and was just left outside our door 🙃

Unfortunately when we went to have dinner and drinks everything we wanted was ‘out of stock’. Was Valentine’s Day but was so surprised how much was out of stock r unavailable. Which was highly disappointing so we got dinner elsewhere and tried to get a good cocktail but again stock basil was missing and sorry but the Chinese/Japanese young girl was lovely but had no idea what she was doing, she poored our beers with no froth and my cocktails she tried to make were terrible! So we missed out on that great dining experience. The gentleman at the front counter was SO BLUBY and helpful and happy! Just 10/10! For him! A tall large gentleman with a big smile! Greeted amazingly and helpful with the TV! Just a few kitchen things were missing! To eat and get takeaway which we ended up doing… so few things missing there but other than that great everything!!! Will be back for a better experience! Bless

Modern, tastefully decorated rooms similar to other Holiday Inns such as Melbourne Airport and City Road, Southbank. The house style for most IHG hotels seems to work; get the basics right. Very comfortable bed, effective aircon, adequate furniture for a small room, recessed large screen TV. Bathroom had some luxury amenties and the shower was superb with great hot water pressure. There are a lot of rooms close together on each floor but the soundproofing seems to be good. Breakfast was good rather than great, but service from the front desk was impressive on all fronts. NIce. The hotel also feels as safe and secure as a bank vault...

$15 parking fee is not competitive, especially when even the budget hotels in Dandenong seem to offer it free. Wifi connection is a discombobulating process. The room has the most bizarre box of tissues I have ever seen (small square box with all the tissues randomly stuffed in there so they come out like a volcano!) Nothing in the mini bar beyond a few small UHT milks. Room service does not have a physical menu (QR code only - I survived the pandemic without a smart phone, but not it seems an IHG hotel!! This is bad.

The clearness of the hotel, but also the staff Mr Don made whatever unpleasant experience I had,..... Memorable! All thanks to him. He went out of his way to ensure we were happy during our stay, waved the parking so we had free parking and 2 free drinks

The dinner was good but the breakfast was very basic and meals always ran out. Also, I booked 2 rooms ( half board) for my family, only to find out that there is a specific amount allocated to each room, and not necessarily that everyone is covered in the meal, dinner to be more precised. If you have children below 12 yrs old, that's fine because they eat free. Otherwise, call reception if unsure, thats my candid advice for those with family. This holiday inn is very different from the one at Werribee, I always go to that one, and you get a very good deal and value for money.

The Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Don. The breakfast was fabulous. The shower and bathroom space was really good. The bed was a bit hard, we would prefer a top sheet and cotton blanket as the doona was too warm. We had a very quiet room as requested. For a 5 night stay we needed more drawers, hanging space and hangers. The restaurant staff did not engage at all. The location was great and easy parking. We would thoroughly recommend it.

Great decor, excellent service and comfy beds. We only stayed one night, it really meet our needs. We booked the carpark and breakfast included package which was outstanding value. It would have been helpful to have more info about the parking ahead of time but when we arrived we saw the parking entrance next to the front door with a few parking bays for check in. The breakfast was really delicious and we ordered barista made iced latte as an extra, there is also a self service coffee machine.

Our fridge didn't work however it wasn't an issue but was a little inconvenience. Reported to reception staff upon check out who apologised and noted it for maintenance. The menus on the Dandelion website don't show the breakfast options so we were really happy to see a wide range of hot and cold food.
