This was a fabulous place to stay. The hosts were the most friendly and helpful I’ve experienced on any of my travels. The house was a beautifully restored Basque Maison. Our room was spacious, quiet, super comfortable and very spacious. Breakfast was delectable and great fun meeting with other guests. We were given advice on things to do and places to see as well as restaurants recommendations that were 1st class Parking was very secure and the location was excellent We hope to return soon

There was nothing we did not love.

The house and its surroundings are simply out of this world. The hosts are incredibly kind, always attentive to every detail and eager to offer helpful recommendations for things to do each day. The breakfast and accommodation are a perfect 10/10. I couldn’t ask for more—Aita Baita is now my go-to place in the Basque Country

Claire and her husband Jorg were super hosts. They helped us greatly by doing our washing as we had been travelling for a number of weeks. The house is really beautiful and we felt really comfortable there. I would encourage anyone to experience this beautiful stay in this magnificent home.

Absolutely amazing place , old and beautiful house in quiet area , our hosts Claire and Jorg were very friendly and helpful, we feel there lake at home with old friends. Stylish and clean rooms with air condition . We love that place !

Nothing , all was perfect

Our host Claire is wonderfully organised and helped us with places to visit in Biarritz and San Sebastian. The breakfast was excellent and it certainly is a place we would love to return to. Our room was one of the smaller rooms but it was still spacious and comfortably sized with a good bathroom. The garden with the 280-year-old Red Lebanese Cedar tree was a lovely setting for our breakfast and chilling out.

The shared small kitchenette for making tea and coffee could do with a refit.

Claire and Jörg are excellent hosts who made our stay in the area 10 times better than it would've been otherwise. They treat you like an extension of their family and go out of their way to help recommend itineraries that are not obvious. I really enjoyed our chats over breakfast about everything ranging from Basque country to world history to geopolitics. Thank you both :)

The breakfast was fantastic and Claire and Jorg are wonderful people. If you lucky, you will get a taste of life in Ciboure and be warned in may be hard to go back!

We had the pleasure of staying at your home, everything is so special and beautiful, but the most important thing was getting to know   a couple with an outstanding welcome, generosity and extraordinary love of people.     very charming and special breakfast in the garden next to the huge and amazing tree, the detailed explanations of where to travel and what to see  in the area.
