The location of this hotel is superb, just off the central Kole Idromeno Street. The owner was a lovely gentleman whose English was better than mine! You can tell that this is a beautifully family run hotel which means the world to him, we had a lovely chat with him over breakfast and he could not do enough for us. The room was really large with plenty of storage and a really comfortable bed. As it is on a little side street it was peaceful and quiet but easily accessible.

The only thing that I would have liked, which can be said of nearly all european hotels, is a hairdryer that is not restricted to the bathroom. The mirror in a bathroom steams up after showers have been taken which not only makes it impossible to see what you are doing but also makes for a very hot environment in which to dry your hair. Not a deal breaker though just a point to consider.

Loved it! Highly recommend, will go again. Location is 10/10 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ good affordable clean hotel. Fridge on each floor, good wifi, TV, AC all good condition. Managed by a good family, friendly people. Lots of shops around, very vibrant area. 7 mins walking from bus where you can go to & come from Tirana. - There is a mosque nearby & a church. They also have affordable options for trips but unfortunately I didn’t have time to try these. ~ Note there are stairs & no lift- if you have heavy luggage but they have rooms on every floor, mine was on 2nd floor, manageable with 1 suitcase. There were rooms on 1st floor as well so maybe you can ask for these, good width of stairs not steep or tight.

No better location in Shkoder. It's right in the center of the main pedestrian thoroughfare, with lots of nearby food and shopping. Owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, and gave me a bigger room than the one I had booked for no extra charge. My room was basic but very large, clean, and quiet. Breakfast was simple (hard-boiled eggs, bread, cheese, jam, prepackaged croissants, juice) but filling. Overall good value for money and a great option for staying in the city center. (Note that they only take cash payments!)

The small bathroom and lack of partition for the shower was a bit awkward, need to be careful or else everything gets wet! Teakettle was a little grimy.

The location in the pedestrian zone is perfect. It was my second stay in the hotel but still I have to combine my intuition with the information I receive from my navigation system. "pedestrian zone" implies that it is tricky to find. Staff was very friendly. We were offered to park our motorbikes in the private area of the hotel. Thank you! There are lots of restaurants around. It is nice to walk around in the evening.

Sorry, I have to use the same words as written in my last year's review. Nothing has changed: Breakfast was prepared and served in advance for every seat. It was simple, except jam (maybe homemade?) it consists of cheap industrial products.

The location was perfect to be so near the walking street where everyone enjoys going and having a coffee or dinner. It was also near stores, barbershops, restaurants. The room had an excellent window to open with a screen to enjoy the evening breeze

The breakfast was simple with not anything special to eat.

Location, quiet during the night. Easy to find when walking from the bus. Wifi was reliable.

Room wasn't cleaned during our 3 night stay. Mattress was a bit hard for my preference.

Great location, just tucked off main pedestrian street, good value for money, clean, modern, comfortable.. Owner helped us with tickets for Komani/Valbona and stored our bags for free while we were away on the hike. Good air con, WiFi, kettle in room.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The room was impeccably clean and spacious, clearly benefiting from recent renovations that added a modern touch. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to start the day right. The staff, who were incredibly friendly and family-oriented, went above and beyond to assist with any requests. Additionally, their use of WhatsApp for communication made it incredibly convenient to reach them at any time. Highly recommended for a comfortable and pleasant stay!

had a great stay our first time and went back for another night at the end of our travels. amazing location, close to many bus stops and restaurants. the staff was accommodating- we were comfy and slept well.

My stay at City Center Hotel was a very pleasant experience! The location is excellent – right in the main square of Shkodër, with everything easily reachable on foot. The room was very clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was tasty and generous. What truly made the difference was the staff – very welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. I will definitely return again!
