I stayed in room 29A and it was a lot better then I was expecting had a lake view was bigger than I pictured and very clean, simple, great water pressure in the shower.

I arrived on a public holiday so the reception was closed I called to get my key as the sign says they couldn't see my booking thought I was at the wrong hotel but gave me code to open safe once I did that key was there no problems so just seemed like they didn't have my booking on their system not sure what happened In the room everything was perfect I'm a camper so don't ask for much but thought I'd share this for others that may have higher standards, the curtain a small portion was off the tracks so I needed to put a towel up to make it dark as the lights on balcony are on 24/7 and the recliner seat didn't recline.

Great property, incredible views, great facilities.

The staff member walking past my room looking at their watch, then parking their cleaning trolley at my front door, waiting for me to leave, 15 mins before checkout time. Literally standing their waiting. Made me feel like I was inconveniencing them by having a last cup of tea and enjoying the view. Everything else was great, this wasn’t a nice way to leave. Please ask your staff to be more considerate. Donna was lovely, the rest of the experience great, just an inconsiderate moment from one staff member.

The view was beautiful from our room and we were within walking distance of fast food and a supermarket, and easy driving distance of all Gold Coast attractions. The room provided all basic amenities, with the communal BBQ area adding convenience. The pool being temperature managed for year round swimming was a huge bonus. Onsite car parking being available was great.

The bathroom was mouldy and the shower was tiny. The air conditioner spat out a bunch of dirt/dust upon being turned on, which went all over the kitchenette.

The bed and pillows were super comfy, mattress was even better than the one I have at home, so slept really well. Room was neat and clean and spacious and kitchenette had adequate equipment , except was lacking a cutting board. Room had great views overlooking the lake and the pool area looked beautiful and the grounds were well kept. The Pines Shopping Centre was right next door so was very convenient for picking up groceries / takeaway food. Lady at reception was very friendly.

Bathroom was very small, it was a tight fit to get in/out of the shower as there wasn't a lot of space with the shower door open as it was so close to the small vanity, Only one person at a time could occupy the space. No complimentary soap in the bathroom which I thought strange as there is still a lot of covid and virus's going around. Walls are quite thin and could hear next doors TV and toilet flushing. Seems to be quite a few permanent residents living there as well as the motel guests.

Wonderful night view to the lake, being able to sit at a conveniently provided picnic bench right outside the room, was just lovely, even with the rain, it was still lovely to sit out there and feel like you were a million miles from anywhere

Maybe a small lite continental breakfast snacks, like UHT milk and a couple cereal packets and a few pieces of bread to toast, would of been ideal - but then again, it was so close to the shopping centre... we just had breakfast there...

Location was fantastic - not beach view but close to beaches, small shopping centre and take-away food options. Pool facilities were great and the heated spa was an added bonus for keeping the kids amused. Kitchen and crockery supplies were perfectly adequate and good size fridge. Beds very comfortable.

No complaints about cleanliness but perhaps rooms need a little TLC - ie curtains with thin spots, and fan low speed was very fast. Also little disappointed in meagre bathroom provisions ie soap cakes for handbasin would be helpful.

The Location was amazing walking distance to the shops. Every shop you need staff were beautiful very helpful . Take a fishing road. fish jumping .Very relaxing rooms were beautiful big black swans that are very friendly. You can fed them mum / dad and the babys Best value for money on the Gold Coast. Has a big Lake. And closest resort to all the best beaches on the gold.coast Stay there every time over any other motol Thank you very much for your service and hospitality. 100% ratting Wish i found this place a long time ago. Would of saved a lot of money and better experiance

Every thing the place was amazing so Relaxing with no stress.

My wife loved the swimming pool even in the rain 😂 Room was clean but the shower needs a little work as it was not as clean as it could have been. The hotel was very peaceful and the lagoon was very relaxing , affordable rates,free WiFi and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bed was comfy but unfortunately everytime we sat up in bed , the bed moved haha (maybe some wheel stops may help) All in all a beautiful place to stay and ideal location as the shopping centre is a hop and skip to get to Would recommend to friends and family 3 Stars 😍

It's just a 15-minute drive from the airport, making it super convenient. Public transportation is easily accessible, and the shopping center is only a short 5-minute walk away. The view of the lake is stunning, and the sunsets are absolutely beautiful.

The bathroom could use a bit more attention when it comes to cleaning, as there was an unpleasant smell. A little extra care would make a big difference.

We were able to have a downstairs room which was awesome for my aged partner. The room was awesome very spacious and clean and overlooked the pool.

There is only one thing I would have appreciated and that would be a few more tea bags as I arrived late and had a cup of tea that evening and none for morning until I went to the shops.
