I recently stayed at the City Center Hotel for 5 days, and I had a fantastic experience! The hotel's location was perfect, right in the middle of the city with easy access to the City Center Mall. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and beautifully maintained. The housekeeping team did an amazing job keeping the rooms spotless and tidy. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in and check-out a breeze. Overall, I found the hotel to be excellent value for money. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the city.

What a gem! For a 2-star hotel, this is honestly the best place I have ever stayed. It featured: -- Immaculate cleanliness throughout. -- Simple, no frills, functional furnishings. -- Exemplary location, just behind the airport and adjacent to City Centre mall. -- Helpful and accommodating staff. Comfy bed... check! Hot water... ample and piping hot. And the fancy jacuzzi-style tub in the bathroom was an awesome touch. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Priced for value, this is now my singular go-to for Muscat.

Guest rooms could have more soundproofing.

The staff was absolutely amazing — very kind, friendly, and always willing to help. One night, I accidentally left my laptop in a taxi, and they went above and beyond to help me recover it. They checked the security cameras, identified the taxi’s license plate, and even contacted the driver late at night. Thanks to their effort, I got my laptop back! The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was also very convenient.

The Wi-Fi could be a bit more stable at times.

i like the fact that the location was so near to city center and surrounded by all kind of shops for a business trip , stuff is very responding and fast , hotel is quiet , appreciate the private parking for guests , and house keeping are good .

wifi wasn't accessible for more than one device unless to call reception , they could mark the direction of Mekkah inside the room for praying persons , chair in the room not fit with desk - too small , appreciate if the parking was shaded ( tents ) , a slipper in the room won't hurt !

Our stay in this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The location could not be better. It is a 2 minute walk from the mall and a 10 minute drive from the airport. There is a beautiful mosque only a 5 minute walk away and it is surrounded by tons of diners and restaurants as well as fast food places. The cleanliness was immaculate and the service was exceptional. Our receptionist Kumar was absolutely amazing. He did everything he possibly could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He even went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable whilst waiting for our taxi and gave us back our room card at no extra cost so we could relax again whilst we wait. A massive thank you to Kumar as he was so respectful, pleasant and well mannered especially towards my family. The service could not be better and we will 100% be staying here again!!

The receptionists were super helpful, kind and welcoming. The location was good - closed to the airport and the shipping mall. The restaurant inside the hotel was good too. Very reasonably priced. From the airport to the hotel > 6.05 OMR From the hotel to the airport > 2.09 OMR (the receptionist kindly used his discount code for my ride!) Food inside the hotel > 2 OMR pancit Will definitely stay again if I go to Oman. Thank you.

No swimming pool.

This hotel is the perfect place for an adventurous vacation in Oman. We just used the room to sleep and relax when we were tired of the adventurous day. If you are looking for a perfect located hotel in the center of Muscat, this is the place! It’s a good comfortable hotel if you are not just seeking for luxury. The staff was really kind, maybe the most kind I ever have seen in a hotel. Every day I could extend my stay for the same price I booked in Booking.com with my genius level 3 discount. Even if my card didn’t work in the morning, it was no issue to pay later that day when it worked. If you need extra clean towels during the day, you just ask and they bring it to your room in just a few minutes. Even when we brought some food from outside to the room to eat in the evening on our own plates; the roomservice cleaned all the trash and did even our dishes the next day. And despite that Oman is one of the safest countries in the world, it gave us a good feeling we could lock the door extra with an hardware cord lock. At the start of our holiday we planned to stay for 2 nights, at the end we stayed two times for 3 nights! And when we left the manager personally helped us getting all our luggage downstairs! We will defiantly come back, for the comfort, the location and last but not least: the service!

No one is perfect of course. In our first room the water in the shower had an hard time to enter the drain, but it never flooded the bathroom. In our second room the showerhead had a lot of rust on it (216). The last night we could not sleep that well because other rooms around us where moving the chairs a lot in the night. But it was also the first day of Ramadan so I could understand that. When I told this the next day to the reception they excused and gave us a complimentary free late check out. So yeah some things could improve, but for us it was not a big deal and I am sure they will fix these small issues!

I appreciated various aspects of the City Center Hotel property, including the accommodating manager, Ms. Sylvia, who ensured our needs were met. The clean and well-appointed rooms, especially the junior suite with a jacuzzi, contributed to a relaxing stay. The overall ambiance, coupled with polite staff and superb hospitality, made our experience highly enjoyable. Looking forward to returning for more delightful stays.

I didn't encounter any significant issues with the City Center Hotel property. The overall experience was positive, and both the accommodations and service met our expectations.

Everything was very good, room was very spacious, and clean fully air-conditioned.

The tv could have been better. If there was carpet on the floor it could have been more cosier. I also didn’t like the attitude of the manager, she wasn’t friendly, in fact she was making a very serious face but the other staff members were very friendly and helpful especially Kumar.

Good service, nice room, beautiful view. Love the little dog helping in reception.

Got the tour service from the hotel. We agreed on a specific amount of activities for a fixed price. Despite the fact that we did less activities as planned and I had to wait 1 hour in between because a car malfunction, the tourist guide asked for more money than he initially quoted. Just be aware of this situation, save receipts, keep a strong attitude and make them keep their word.
