I loved the room - it had high quality finishes - as good as a 5 star hotel. It was fresh, new and high end. All of the room had electronic switches. The bathroom was amazing with high quality marble tiles. I would definitely stay in this hotel based on my experience.

The breakfast lounge was terrible - the food was absolutely deplorable (and old) and the staff were not even interested in serving you. Most of the place was unclean and it felt like they didn't clean for days. They were too busy being concerned with their own issues and having a therapy session about their challenges with their lives to even be bothered to serve us. They just took our chits that we recieved from the hotel and continued on with their work. Recommend the hotel shift this piece of their product offering to some other lounge (perhaps the Oman Air lounge) or not offer breakfast / meals altogether.

I recently stayed at the hotel located inside Muscat Airport and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I checked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel valued throughout my entire stay until check-out. The room was absolutely stunning, spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. One feature I particularly appreciated was the option to book the room for a 12-hour period, which was perfect for my layover and added great convenience. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone needing a comfortable and hassle-free stopover at Muscat Airport.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about the stay.

This is a wonderful place to spend a long layover in comfort. I was a bit worried about the air conditioning, as some reviews mentioned it cooled the room too much, and my husband needs a warm room to rest. However, either this issue has been resolved, or the people who wrote those reviews simply couldn't figure out how to adjust it. It's very simple: there's a panel near the bedside table (the panels differ on each side of the bed, so check both). Everything is clear there; you can set any temperature or turn the AC off completely. The room was clean, and the bathroom was convenient. I enjoyed watching the planes from the room. We had both lunch and dinner; while the food selection wasn't huge, it was sufficient and tasty, plus significantly cheaper than eating at an airport cafe. We had a 10-hour layover and were very happy we chose to stay at this hotel

I arrived at half past midnight, then had to wait 12 hours for my connecting flight. Lucky for me I was met at reception by Imad ( I hope I spelled that correctly). Imad took care of everything I was a bit tired, I chose the 6 hour option as I only need a couple of hours sleep and a shower. My stay included breakfast with unlimited coffee's and lovely scrambled eggs, in the connecting restaurant next door. I could then stay in the lounge there until my flight. Imad made the stay excellent. It would have been exceptional but for one simple thing. The TV was unusuable. I checked with three other guests who also couldn't use their TV's. I called someone out twice and wasted an hour at one or two in the morning which spoiled things a bit ( I like to fall asleep to the news). You switch the TV on then have to press source and choose HDMI 1, then a smart TV loads up but starts to freeze and loses connection. The room was stunning and quiet. The bed was a big double and very comfortable leading to a beautiful shower room and toilet. There were lots of charging points, a kettle with coffee for the morning. Also bottled water. I was a bit worried about over staying so Imad booked a wake up call for me leaving me with enough time for a coffee and shower before checkout. The hotel is right there in the airport terminal on the fourth floor just above duty free and as you have already gone through security your bags don't need to be checked before boarding your connecting flight.

The TV system is over complicated, unable to use. There is no freeview/guide. You have to select smart TV and login to your subscription services if you can get it working. My TV/remote froze constantly.

The flexibility of checkin time.

The stirrer or spoon for coffee making are not provided. Its 2 am in the morning, i don't have time to make a request and wait for someone to just deliver me the stirrer. This should be there by default, I was forced to use the other end of provided toothbrush to stir my coffee (perhaps that is the intention of the hotel). TV is not functioning. Since its 2 am in the morning and I am tired, I dont have time to request the front desk to look into this issue. These incidents although seems small, affect my experience with the hotel.

Initially the tv in my assigned room was not working fully, so I requested a repair and the maintenance person attended in under 5 minutes. He tried to fix it but once he couldn’t they moved me to another room. I didn’t end up using the pool or other amenities as I was there over night and intended to sleep but the location was great! Conveniently next to the duty free area so you can access your gate with ease! Clean, and the staff are very accommodating. I couldn’t make breakfast but they were happy to transfer me to a lunch voucher instead. I wish more airports have this!

Great property with comfortable rooms. They had all the necessities in the room including toothbrush and toothpaste, towels, clothing line, shampoo, and single use slippers. The staff were friendly as well and the breakfast was decent.

The hotel wifi was not really good. I couldn’t browse the web properly or make any voice calls. I recommend connecting to airport wifi instead. But for this you need a mobile number that can receive text messages with a login key for the wifi. The hotel is located in the departures area which is seperate from arrivals. Although this is not the hotels fault, if you plan to leave the airport to explore the city during a transit, do not book this hotel. You need to go through a security check to go from arrivals to departures and there is no way to go out once you pass the screening. Muscat airport staff were some of the most unhelpful I’ve encountered, they refused to help me go back. I lost a rebooked city tour because of it.

In my case, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helped me to get out of a mistake, which I had made during booking. The location is very central and easy to find. Instructions given together with the confirmation are clear - everybody shall understand from that NOT to pass immigration 🤦🏻‍♂️. The rooms are spacious, quiet, very comfortable as well as very clean. Who knows the Yotel in Istanbul airport airside understands, why I am so excited

Two recommendations for others: 1. Be careful when booking the room. You might - as I did - understand from the wording that you booked for a day, but in fact it's only for six hours. Thanks to the team who helped me to make up for that mistake. Prices are quite high but yet 30% lower than in Istanbul airport, if that suits as a benchmark. 2. Dinner is not offered as a buffet but from a special menu, which is ... let's say simple and concise. For me it was okay, but you should be aware of that One proposal to the management: I mentioned that already earlier: in the bathrooms is a rack or tray for personal sanitary items/bags missing. You don't know where to place your toothbrush 😀

1) Good value if you book it through the Booking app. We got good discounts. The prices at the desk are much higher. 2) Clean, quiet and private. Good room for 2 people. 3) Very nice breakfast and lunch.

1) No adapters, only Oman power sockets - strange decision. But we've found a solution - charge at the shaver power socket in the bathroom. 2) Weak water pressure and either super hot or cold water. 3) Very cold in the room, the only way to stop this is to turn off air conditioner completely. 4) Wi-Fi is not the strongest but does the minimal job.

Getting to the hotel from your plane you have to go through a first security check which makes leaving the airport for some sightseeing with a long stopover very difficult. Although being in posession of a valid boarding pass for the successive flight you have to contact one of the passenger service points and they have to accompony you out. 2 hours in my case. And the same problem coming back as the system told them I'm already in.
