Friendly, welcoming, and cosy. My room had kitchen facilities, enabling self-catering, and there is a convenient shop 5 minutes walk away. Overall, I would recommend it as a good budget option.

Some rooms overlook a busy road, and there is traffic noise late into the night at weekends. I recommend closing the windows. Bathrooms are shared. The guest house is a 15-20minute walk from the city centre and railway station. Smokers need to pop around the corner to the recreation ground,, for 5 minutes' peace.

It was comfy, well presented, had the essentials like biscuits coffee and tea. Surprisingly had a small sink in the room which was an absolute blessing and nice little touch.

No on site parking. Parking available on nearby side roads, permit restrictions and it's more of a risk it if you like option. A little more space on the desk would've been preferred to do work on, so possibly swapping the little mini console table under the TV for one would work!

The owner was extraordinarily kind and friendly. I was staying to visit a relative in hospital. Unusually these days to have the owner on the premises and she replied to and requests very fast. The room was comfy well heated there's tea coffee making facilities. Key to come and go as you need. Near to public transport and a cafe pizza Chinese. Comfy bed no noise slept well at a challenging time for me I felt safe and cosy.

Landlady could not be more accommodating, went above and beyond for us. Location was very easy walking distance into town for the celebrations. Beds nice N comfy making it a struggle to get out of in the morning. Tea/Coffee making facilities and was very quick to offer help with an iron and ironing board.

Not much at all to moan about overall. Word of warning, and this is no reflection on the guest house at all, and that is the parking situation. It is shocking, so my advice would be to bus/train/cab it in if you can.

It was nice to have a kitchen in the room. Close to what we needed. Come and go as needed.

Bathroom not in room but somewhat nearby. 1 dish towel, our stuff was gotten into but not missing that I am aware. No wash cloths. Clogged sink each day. Knife needs to be sharpened. Door was hard to open because both hands needed to open door.

Always book here when attending Farnborough air show.A warm friendly greeting and a lovely twin room which met all our needs.A good nights sleep assures us we are ready for a busy day at the show. Tea/Coffee facilities,a modern TV and comfy beds make the stay homely.A shared bathroom/toilet had shower toiletries provided with large soft towels.

Shared bathrooms are not for everyone but an early start for us meant no issues whatsoever.

Nice room with all we needed. Clean and comfortable.

I struggles with the temperature control of the shower - couldn't get a happy medium between way too hot or way too cold! Misunderstanding re parking ... on our form it said on-site could be arranged ... but that was incorrect and we had to park on the road side further down the road.

Comfortable room, well managed process, clean room, lots of drawers, good size closet with hangers, hot water, etc. easy communications with Susan, walking distance to both train stations, very close eating places open late, secure entry.

Having knobs on the bathroom door panels would be nice.

I loved this place. My room has been really cozy I felt at home here straigjtaway. The bed is very comfortable and everything was nice and clean. Sue has been very kind and it is also very well situated the center is within walking distance. Many thanks Sue for the wonderful stay. I am looking forward to coming back soon!

Everything was perfect

Great location with easy access to the main town centre and all it shops, bars and restaurants. Acacia was very nicely decorated, homely and welcoming. Room 4 was huge with a double and single bed and full kitchen. Had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Host was really pleasant and friendly.

Apart from limited parking there was nothing I didnt like. The shared bathroom wasn't a problem, even with a full house. Room 4 is at the front on the main road, which is very busy but it didnt bother me being used to city noise anyway. If you like it quite, this room wouldn't be for you.
