This hotel mirrors the idea authentic Italian hospitality, it really does. It's clean, quiet, comfortable, with all the essential facilities. It is a bit old fashioned, but in a good way. It's a genuine kind of Italian hotel. The staff are very kind and helpful. They let me keep the luggage at the hotel after checkout. Brilliant location. If you eat most foods, the breakfast buffet looks really nice, there's plenty of choice for omnivores.

There are only a few vegan options for breakfast. The bathroom and shower were ok for me, but they would be very challenging for people with higher BMI and claustrophobia.

hotel is across the street from the d'Este castel, literally. One can easily tour the central tourist interests points, go back hotel take a nap, and come back continue the afternoon tour. walking is within a minute! Room is clean and spacious, enough for one person. Breakfast is a good value and convenient.Staff very friendly, tried to find interest location for guest. In front of the hotel door is the bus stop, which has a lot of routes to the train station and all over the city.

Stayed in single room, but plenty of space. Basic layout as expected, but with airco and small but well designed bathroom. Breakfast ok, very Italian with lots of sweet pasties. But toast with ham, cheese and also muesli available. Location excellent, staff is helpful, also with sorting out street parking at low cost.

Bed was a bit on the hard side, old fashioned spring matras. Not a big deal though, well worth the price, great value for money.

The family room (one double bed and 2 single beds) was spacious and clean. Hotel is located in a historic building very close to the city center (2 mins walk). Parking place available in the courtyard behind the hotel. Breakfast was tasty, good variety of meals, and beverages including coffe available. Very good quality/price ratio.

Excellent value for single room and amazing breakfast. Breakfast was delicious - sweet and savoury item. I really enjoyed staying in this historic hotel. Great location in centre of Ferrara. Staff spoke English and all were very helpful. Will stay again.

Nice old-style hotel in the heart of Ferrara with own parking possibilities. The “Centro Storico” with castle is practically located on the other side of the road. Kind staff, good Italian breakfast, simple comfortable room. Ideal solution for overnight stop on the way to the South and back.

Had a window overlooking a small courtyard. If the window was open, you could hear the late-night chatter and catch the smell of cigarettes from the smokers.

Close to the city centre, in a pretty historical building

The check-in/pay/check-out was a bit unorganised. The ceiling of the bathroom was full of dust which looked like it could fall on you. The bidet was clogged and because of that you could not wash yourself properly on it.

Hotel Europa has a fantastic location, just steps from the castle and the old town. There are a lot of buses coming from the train station and the bus stop is oppostite the hotel, very easy to find. The room was quiet, clean and the breakfast excellent. The staff were nice, the price reasonable, I would stay there again.

Nice and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was typical but very good Italian with a particularly good selection of pastries. Location is very good, being just across the road from the edge of the Old Town. My room was a little dated but the wi-fi and aircon worked. I would stay there again.
