Room as advertised. Great breakfast- certainly worth the price. The cleaners did a great job - unfortunately, I was not able to tip them as you accept only cash.

Free Internet- poor reception and speed. This was a work trip and having a good internet was essential. Not many English speakers among staff.

This is our go-to hotel in Montevideo and our third time staying here. The heated pool is very nice, rooms are spacious, comfortable bed. Good, if pricey, breakfast. Maids were pleasant and accommodating to our erratic schedule. The travel museum in the lobby is interesting. Great location a block from Plaza Independencia and the Old City. Quiet at night, no street noise.

The front desk staff is very young and at times ill mannered. The breakfast was $30 a day for the two of us, so the next two days we ate breakfast at other places nearby. I found the bidet awkwardly designed and difficult to use - and I'm a fan of bidets. That was disappointing.

It lives up to what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. It's an older property but has been kept fairly well updated. You can get a decent nights sleep without breaking the bank. The breakfast that is included is decent and good variety. The hotel is a supporter of Uruguay's LGBTQ+ community.

The bathroom is very small and there is not enough space to put your toiletry items. The area around the hotel is a little sketchy at night. I found there are better places to stay in Montevideo that are similar priced but better locations.

Centrally located, comfortable stay, good internet, good breakfast. The room is spacious, there is a proper working desk and coffee machine. The bed is comfortable and there are different pillows hard and softer to choose from. Heating working properly. Friendly staff tried to accommodate an early check in.

The lobby looks a bit depressing. Walking in some corridor towards my rooms was a bit squeaky and shaky. It could use a renovation or at least freshening.

Good value hotel conveniently located near Plaza de Independencia. Lots of buses nearby. Easy to walk to Ciudad Vieja or around Centro. Very friendly helpful staff. The hotel is a bit older but it's clean, convenient, comfortable. I returned to stay here since I liked the value and location. Also had a nice variety for breakfast.

The only thing I'd say would be to have some anti-slip tape in the tub since could be slippery for older people.

Location in Montevideo could not be bettered. The room was large with a very comfortable bed, strong shower, well equipped with large TV (with lots of international channels), coffee making equipment and a fridge. Very modern and clean room. I stay in so many hotels and I was very impressed. Staff were very professional, pleasant and accommodating.

Well located, good buffet breakfast, good front desk. Nice small rooftop bar and enclosed pool. Rooms are clean, older hotel with older decor but reasonably priced. Nice towels and have shampoo and conditioner!

The staff was friendly, helpful and responded quickly to issues and concerns. Many speak near perfect English. Location is perfect. A very short walk to Plaza Independencia, the Old City and the Casino. There's even a laundry service a block away. The breakfast buffet was great. The little travel museum in the lobby was interesting. No street noise from our room. There is a safe in the room for valuables.

I never got the thermostat in the room to set the way I wanted it. At times the room became muggy. I'm a fan of bidets, but the design of the bidet in our room was at odds with common sense and I never felt comfortable using it. The bidet also leaked terribly though maintenance quickly fixed the issue.

Convenient location and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and they let us check in early with a free upgrade ☺️
