Location is very good.5mins walk to the lake if ur staying in house 2.Felix the owner/manager was extremely polite and lovely chatting to him.Breakfast is your typical continental cured years,boiled and scrambled eggs and fresh rolls and fresh juices.The room we stayed in was very basic but for the price we paid we got value.Slept well too. Mosquito candles are a great idea but didn't really work.Not the fault of the hotel at least they tried.

Pillows are very soft and the cleaning guy wanted 5e for extra water.We bought our own instead. Mosquitos 🦟 outside dining are horrendous 😫 bring repellent for after 5pm. Il try stay in house 1 next time. Waited 20 mins to checkout.

Lovely Alpine style hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. It is right next to the Chiemsee-Bahn Steam Railway and the Ferry to Herren-Chiemsee Palace. There are some limited restaurants nearby but you may need to go into the main town for food or a beer which is around 25mins walk. Walking along the path at the side of the Chiemsee Bahn saves you walking up the big hill between the two parts of the town. I will visit again.

Excellent location right on the lake. I booked a family room as I thought that a double room would be a small double bed. We had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom in a separate building behind the main hotel. The bedrooms are a bit dated but its a lovely building with a lift. The bathroom had a lovely large shower. Massive windows with lots of light. Beds were comfortable. A bit of street noise but not after 11pm. Staff were amazing! A good breakfast was enjoyed. The restaurant was really good as well!

Couldn’t be more convenient for lake steamers and the railway; nice view across lake to mountains. Very helpful staff; excellent breakfast and good restaurant.

Not a complaint, but intending visitors should be aware that the Luitpold annexe is the budget option; perfectly clean, comfortable and functional, but not as swish as the main building.

Position directly on lake. Restaurant in the hotel and the breakfast was tasty (yoghurt, fruit, different types of tasty bread, müsslie, great vitamin juices, eggs, salami,....) Our room was very, very spacious and the bathroom too. We were three in something like an appartment for six in the white and blue building with restaurant (there are 3 buildings). Overall we would raccomend it.

Everything was new and clean, and the breakfast was very good. Parking was very convenient since it was on-site and free.

We didn't realize there was an annex, and we ended up in it. There was one door which opened into 2 rooms. It was a little disconcerting because we were always afraid someone would be coming in to stay in the 2nd room.

Everything was just perfect, one of the best places I have ever been to. Clean, beautiful view, quiet and just at the lake. Good breakfast. The restaurant and the staff were amazing.

The young man who checked us in was very friendly. Our room was comfortable and roomy. The water they provided was a plus. And the breakfast was wonderful. So many choices.

It was a bit warm. Especially because opening the windows brought in a lot of mosquitoes and some spiders. We had to close them.

The location was great - directly next to the ferry pier, opposite the lovely “Chiemseebahn” and very close to the Prienavera swimming pool - the staff very friendly, the food excellent.
