Location, breakfast

A bar would be nice, but one was under construction. Open by end of May I expect.

Very nice hotel with partly new facilities, under rated. The hotel is only15 minites walk from Skiathos town, it has direct beach access and ts own pool. Directly putside the hotel on the street it is a bus stop where the "beach bus" stops, that will take you to many of the beautiful beaces on the island for some Euros. The breakfast is really good and you can by lunch in the pool/beach bar, really cousy feeling.

The only negative we can think of is that the hotel is close to the street but that didn't bother us more than a couple of times in one week!

The staff at the hotel were amazing- Anna went above and beyond during our stay. I had an infected insect bite, and she reassured me and booked me a taxi to the local GP. She checked in on me throughout the rest of my stay, which was reassuring that the staff cared. The room itself was huge, with an extra room for sitting in. The view was stunning of the bay and the pool was exceptional. We shall be coming back.

Charming sea-themed hotel, with the BEST breakfast! Our room was on the smaller side, but very cozy with a comfortable bed, balcony with a distant ocean view, and cold A/C. We were so grateful to the friendly, kind hotel staff for the early check-in, after we arrived a little prematurely, from a long journey to the island. The bus was fun and easy to use directly from the airport (buy your ticket from the tiny booth outside). Bus Stop 5 drops you off immediately in front of the hotel! Overall, Nimfi Hotel was our vote for the best bang for your buck. You simply won't find a better deal for such a delightful stay.

Wonderful hotel with new facilities including pool and new accommodation block, overlooking sea. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Good selection for breakfast. Easy walk into old town and a few steps down to sheltered beach. Bus stop right outside hotel. Wonderful stay thank you very much

The staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. The room was lovely to wake up in in the morning as the sun streamed in through the open patio doors. We we also allowed to keep the room on until early evening which was an enormous help as we had a very late flight back to the uk. Also it was directly outside bus stop 5 so great for getting out and about from and an easy walk in to town the supermarket was directly opposite.

First impressions were no so good as the entrance is off the main road and this is where you eat breakfast in the morning but once we were settled and we had found our bearing this all soon melted away and overall we would say this was a good hotel to stay in.

The staff was really great, especially Maria at the front desk. She was such a nice person, always keen to help, so friendly and kind, she made our stay there very special! The breakfast buffet was nice as well, a good mix of traditionell and international food, although it could vary a bit more during a 2 week stay to be more flexible. The location is great because you have a nice beach near and you are also in walking distance to the town itself. A nice small shop is across the street with a very nice and kind owner, supporting us with all the small things we needed. The location is also a very good start point for hiking activities, one of the trails just starts in front of the hotel. We had a seaside view and this was also great, we could see the sea from our bed! Bus station is just next to the hotel, which also great for getting back and forth on the island. Walking distance to the center of Skiathos town was also great.

Unfortunately, our room was on the same level as the front desk and also opposite to the cleaning storage, so as soon as the front door was opened at 0700 morning and the cleaning staff started their work, it was a bit noisy in our room. But I also need to say, that we did not complain during our stay, so if we would have complained, we propably could have changed room, but next time, I would book a room on a different floor. We simply lived on with it, as it was really just the only downside and did not bother us too much. Outside area of the breakfast room is a bit noisy, as it is nearly next to the street, but it was also something we could live with.

Noisy fridge in the bedroom and no shower door or curtain. Wardrobe not high enough to hang a longer dress. We didn't like first room, too noisy as near to reception and front door but when I told the staff they moved us to a quieter room on the second floor straight away.

We stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The Suite was lovely and such beautiful views. The breakfast was great and had everything you could want. We were early but the room was ready . Upon arrival, we were greeted by Maria, who was lovely and provided all the information we needed. Staff so friendly and the lady who was in charge of breakfast was very nice and kept everything topped up during the morning!! Ideal location for the beach and a short walk into the town.

Great location 2 minutes walk from the beach. Lovely sea views. Superb service: the staff went the extra mile to meet our every need. When the air conditioning starting failing during the night they send a technician immediately in the morning. When the technician realised the damage was too much for a simple repair they changed the entire AC unit while we were at the beach. Excellent breakfast too
