I picked this location as I was catching the California Zephyr in the morning and I didn't want to worry about travelling across SF in peak hour to catch the train. You can walk from this hotel to the train station. That removed a stress for me, as missing the train would've impacted my whole holiday. It was pleasant enough.

It was very expensive for one night. The room was fine, there was nothing wrong with it, it just felt very overpriced.

The room was spacious and tastefully decorated. Very clean and contained everything you'd expect from a good American hotel. We had a nice view over the bay towards San Francisco. The staff we met were friendly and helpful.

The location is close to busy roads so do expect noise. The double glazing could have been a bit better. Fortunately I was exhausted from travelling and managed to sleep pretty well. The shower was unusual with the controls on the opposite side of the shower cubicle. Expect a blast of cold water from the shower head fixed to the upper wall before you can switch the flow to the hand-held shower head. The coffee available in the room was pretty ordinary.

All good. Shower was nice - unusually, mixer was on opposite wall from shower head but it would have been great if soap dispensers had also been on same wall with mixer. Towels were very nice.

Plastic "glasses" - yuck. Only 1 tea bag. The "fancy" lighting for the sink area was HORRIBLE for actually doing anything like (for me) shaving, for others putting on makeup. Not anough direct light. I had to use my phone flashlight to get enough light to see to shave! Also, no place for drying towels used for 2nd use. A pet peeve is hotels (not this one) which ask that you reuse towels but don't provide hook or rack to hang them to dry. This one didn't ask. Finally the living space also suffered from minimalist lighting - 3 in total, 1 on each side of bed and 1 at desk. It's a recipe for leaving things behind because you can't see them! And in this case, I had to turn each on and off independently and they really did NOT light up the room. IT was DARK!!!

Nice comfortable beds, clean room with a wonderful view of the bridge (not the famous one!) and the parking was right outside our window. We didn't try the breakfast so can't tell. Many nice places nearby within 5min walking distance to grab something to eat for lunch or dinner. The location is absolutely perfect no matter how you wish to go downtown, that was the main reason we chose it in the first place. By car you are ideally located with free parking spot, and the bus station is right across the street. Made our visit carefree and allowed us to enjoy our staying there with no additional worries.

Minor, but I think that the reception desk should be aware of the means of public transport around their own premises. At least, next time be kind enough to look it up in your computer, that's what I did using my phone in front of you!

Good use of space in room. Nice walk-in shower. Good free brewed coffee downstairs. Free parking. Walking distance to purchase items at Trader Joe’s. Quite room. Plenty of electrical outlets and charging ports. Comfortable beds.

The smoke detector was flashing all night. Kept my wife up. Fortunately, we had brought eye shades, which she remembered about after several hours of being unable to sleep. It’s impossible to detect the flashing unless the room is pitch dark, so I’m not certain the staff was ever aware of it until we reported it the next morning.

They changed my room from a single double (i thought i booked a queen) to 2 doubles for me and my daughter. I appreciated that greatly. The room was gorgeous.

I booked this hotel specifically because it had a pool and hot tub. My daughter loves to swim. Both were under construction which was a huge disappointment. We were never told prior. I would have booked a different hotel if we knew.

The bed here was absolutely incredible, and the shower and room exceeded all expectations.

It is not nearly as walkable an area as it looks online. We did need to use an Uber to get to the Hotel, from the Amtrak train station. Wish I had known that at the time of booking, or that they offered free shuttle pick up to get over the train tracks and those wide highways near the location.

The Breakfast that came with the room took our breath away; a sit down breakfast served to us, white napkins and real silverware; we could order from several options, we were even served coffee. For that alone, we decided we would return to this lodging.

Pretty tight bathroom with shower and commode in one room and the sink outside by wardrobe was a little awkward.

The restaurant staff Jocelyn was extremely helpful and greeted all the customers with a smile. It made our family feel welcome. The breakfast was wonderful. Will definitely stay again if I'm able to come back this way.

The one no so good thing was there was only one mirror in the room, and it was above the sink. So made getting ready a little bit of a challenge.

Staff were great. Burger was tasty from the bar.

I missed the elevator overpass at the train station and lugged my baggage up the stairway overpass a block away following the google maps. A mention of the station overpass when people call could be helpful. It was my fault that had nothing to do with my stay which was very good.
