This hotel was perfect for our needs. A big room, comfortable king bed and good pillows, huge tv, big bathroom and $15 in and out parking (much cheaper than other options in the area). It was super clean and included free buffet breakfast and was in a great location near restaurants and shops.

My only complaint was the $75 per stay dog fee. It seems unfair that if the fee is for extra cleaning that it’s not per night. My dog is house trained and doesn’t shed so I feel like at that price it should be a deposit that you get back if no extra cleaning is needed. If you don’t have a dog or a car then this hotel is very affordable.

Good central location, so many amenities close by.

Finding the garage parking spots weren’t well explained, a staff member ignored me to scroll on their phone before deciding to help check me in after several minutes. And the room was too warm overnight with no ability to make it cooler than the lowest allowable temp of 66 (it felt much warmer in the room but the thermostat was maxed down to the lowest temp).

Staying at Hyatt Place was awesome and exceptional as always. It is our fourth time staying there and it never fails. I have been there with only my husband and we have been there with our four kids. The breakfast is AMAZING! I can not believe it comes included! Such a good deal! Bay St is literally next to the hotel, therefore restaurants and shops are just steps away! Parking is no hassle at all because the BAY ST parking lot also has Hyatt Place parking space. It is just so amazing and my family and I have nothing but great experiences with them!

Wonderful location, parking was easy and safe, great breakfast, and staff was pleasant and very helpful. I was initially provided a room that was not pleasant, but the staff members tried thier best to fix the situation which at the end of their attempts ending in us switching rooms completely.

We were initially given a room that was dirty, used towels were left on the floor and the AC unit was broken. The room and the refrigerator were very hot and uncomfortable. The room set up is not the best, the ac unit blows air towards the couch and not the bed which left me hot throughout the night. I ended up sleeping on the pull out bed for better temperature comfort.

The room and the staff were good. The location convenient. The breakfast did not meet the level we have had at other hotels (no waffle machine, hot food area not as efficient or as varied, although the coffee was "fine."

Breakfast - As above could use some upgrading and imagination. Miss those "traveling hotel waffles." Maybe I missed them? We were in a hurry. Also - the path from the train station elevator/steps over the tracks was scary! There is no sidewalk under the highway and with our luggage it was a bumpy trip. Hopefully the city will spend a few bucks and make the journey more like the gorgeous bike/walker trail going from the shopping center over the tracks. Ojala!

Room was newly renovated, very clean and comfortable. Location is excellent, close to shopping and food. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

This is the second time i stayed in Hyatt Place Emeryville. The first week I was staying at a room that was next to many young people, students, who were constantly running around and speaking in loud voices. Noise insulation on the door is horrible, I could hear everything. I had wished that guests can be warned of noise level, and offered choice for other rooms/floor levels, especially those who stays more than 2-3 nights.

Room 402 great king size bed proportioned well with sofa.. wonderful breakfast 🥞 could have more variety but what they do offer is higher quality than other places.. great location especially for travel by train Amtrak Emeryville station.. public transportation to and from San Francisco as well to Levi stadium very easy.. very nice professional friendly front desk staff.. will definitely be returning next year football season

Not having microwave oven in room

The location of the hotel is most convenient. We had to attend events in Oakland and Marin County and we found coming and going from Emeryville very easy. The hotel itself is very user friendly. Nothing fancy or old fashioned ... just modern convenience. The breakfast was adequate; about what you find in most hotels with a free breakfast (eggs, bacon, coffee, breads, cereals, juices, etc). The staff was very friendly.

The breakfast could use a little more substance and choices.

Room was nice and comfortable. Pleased.

Hotels with ample parking used to include it in the room price ... no longer. $40 and no extra security; this is not a value. At the bar the help could not make a martini or bloody mary; eventually it was the hotel general manager who had to step in as bartender. The hamburger dinner took way too long and was served by a very indifferent staffer. Our stay will be mostly remembered for these disappointments.

Excellent location. Restaurants, shopping and entertainment nearby. The rooms were nicely appointed. Everything is modern and in pretty good condition. Excellent, accommodating staff. Very decent free breakfast.

The coffee set-up was lacking. Old fashioned maker, no k cups. Very skimpy sugar/cream packets. Ineffective stirring straw instead of plastic spoon. Door handles and closet doors needed wiping down.
