The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and willing to give you informations on where to go and how. There is an elevator, this is important for me who uses a crutch. The hotel is small, but the rooms are neat and quite spacious and comfortable. Laundry are quick and cheap. Location is near many delicious and cheap restaurans/places to eat. It's in a narrow street in a crowded area, very close to the traditional market which sells unique goods. If you like traditional old quarter, market place athmosphere, you'd like it.

Heavy polution. But that's not the hotel's fault. It's Kathmandu after all.

I have been a guest at Jay Suites many times. The staff is friendly and kind, which makes my stay exceptional. I appreciate the daily room cleaning and room service. Additionally, having access to the rooftop is a great bonus. I also love that the room has both heating and cooling functionality.

I enjoyed everything except the Ginger-Lemon-Honey tea. It was too weak, but I received a delicious one after requesting it.

The manager Pramod, and front desk staff Anup bhatta both went above and beyond to make our stay at Kathmandu as comfortable as possible. Pramod in particular was exceptionally helpful with organising our guides and transport for our Everest Base Camp trek. In the chaos surrounding such an expedition, having Pramod there as a stable and trusted companion was invaluable.

Responsive owner Mr Pramod prior to arrival and during stay even when he was away! All were well settled! We booked 2 rooms for 6 nights and Mr Pramod gave us bonus late check out since we have night flight. His male staff at reception also very thoughtful. Location is quieter compare to other at Thamel area, which is good for resting. Easy walking access to Asan, Durbar Square &Thamel upper. Rooms are clean, hot shower, cool aircon, good air circulation and breakfast. Namaste Dhanya Bad.

Comfortable, quiet location in good walking distance to good resturants and tourist market area. Staff very helpful and checked that the rooms suited and were willing to offer alternatives if there were any issues

Bathroom in the room I had could use a little work. Was functional and modern/western style so useable but needed some work

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Good breakfast available, no other meals. Our room was a good size and the back rooms are very quiet, which was lovely. No need to use aircon to block street noise.wifi worked well. Very happy with the hotel, would stay again.

Spacious room, well furnished: two armchairs, a coffee table, an armchair, a large console, drawers, a closable wardrobe, space for everything. Many power outlets distributed, even in the bathroom, suction fan in the bathroom. Comfy beds, Light and warm duvets. Daily linen change, all necessary lights with switches in logical places. AC with working and adjustable heating... All simple but functional. Perfect maintenance

The bathroom is a bit compact and you have to use some precautions not to flood it during the shower. The elevator had some problems and you don't always go to the requested floor... You have to take it philosophically, but it is little compared to all that is positive

The hotel is centrally located in Kathmandu's Thamel district, close to the city center, shops, and cafes. The area is clean and safe. Special thanks to Anup at reception for providing helpful information and advice about the surroundings. Namaste!

I particularly enjoyed my stay at the Jay Suits Hotel. The location is ideal, the rooms are spacious, the staff very helpful, particularly anup for their friendliness and kindness. I recommend this hotel

The hotel is centrally located and easily accessible. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping areas nearby. The hotel staff is very cooperative and helpful.

There isn't much not to like. We were here to see Pashupatinath temple, and we enjoyed it.
