Had a fantastic stay here! My room was amazing, very spacious and spotlessly clean. All the staff I encountered were lovely and helpful. The breakfast buffet was nice but the room service food was exceptional and incredibly good value. The location of the hotel is perfect, despite it being in the busy Thamel area it was very quiet. I enjoyed my stay so much I rebooked for the end of my trip and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a pre/post trek treat.

I had booked this hotel especially for the pool and gym and these are both areas that could be improved. The pool is great and has an amazing view but it's next a bar area that serves food and drinks which does mean it's not very relaxing. There was pop / rap music being played constantly both times I used the pool even when there weren't many people around. The pool area is quite small so the sun loungers fill up quickly. The decking area around the pool needs replacing as some areas are a trip hazard. The gym is basic and the equipment quite old but it was empty both times I used it and it has an amazing view.

The staff at reception are very friendly and helpful. It is an extremely welcoming hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable, tea, coffee and water are provided which is a nice touch. The pool and gym are very useful, and I have never found them to be too busy. One of my favourite things about this hotel is the incredible breakfast, if you’ve been on a trek, the breakfast here is like striking gold. Everything you missed about food on your trek will be provided including great quality coffee and some delicious pastries. If you need a perfect place to stay in Kathmandu which will not break the budget, this is the place to stay!

I was very happy to return to the Mulberry. As with my previous visits, I was made to feel extremely welcome by the friendly and professional staff. As always, the room is perfectly clean with an extremely comfortable and large bed, perfect for resting after a long trek! The room came with a balcony with a nice view which was a very pleasant place to sit. There is a very well equipped gym on the ninth floor which I used regularly and found to be very quiet. They make a real effort here, you are welcomed with a nice cool drink and I even received fruit and snacks to my room. I have stayed in various hotels in Kathmandu and this will always be my first choice.

The serving staff is very good at what they do, and courteous. Breakfast is pretty decent. Location is excellent.

I'm a repeat customer at this hotel. But during my most recent stay, I had booked the room for total of 4 nights, but they only ended up booking it for 3 nights. And we got a phone call 1 hour before our check out time about "clearing the room" (their word, paraphrased), at this time we are still under the impression that we have 1 more night here. The tone of the person calling me on the phone sounded a little rude which took me aback because the staff had been courteous to me until then.

This hotel was way beyond my expectations. I had booked this hotel for my parents stay in Kathmandu for two days before their flight home. The room was superb, spacey, clean and well maintained. My parents were super happy with their accommodation. The staff were so helpful and cared for my parents well, from the manager to the service staff. They even arranged transport to the airport as they had a late night flight from Kathmandu. I cant thank them enough, customer service at its best and hotel is top class compared to the others in the area.

Breakfast - great, lots of options Pool a bit cold and not big, but as it was a low season we was alone at the pool so it was great. Location is great, near the small community shops and also to the main brands stores. It was our 10th Anniversary and they kind made a great bed, with roses and balloons and even a small cake to us to celebrate. The manager that was in the day we arrived was amazing, really amazing and kind, but the day after the manager was a bit too seriously not much friendly.

All the time the energy shut down, multiples times a day, a few seconds or minutes without electricity than it come back, but as it was happening all the time it is not nice, luck we was never in the elevator when it happens, but just imagine.

This hotel was wonderful, very comfortable and very clean. The rooftop bar with the pool was very nice to lounge in for drinks and chilling. The staff were fantastic, they couldn’t do enough. You even get an extra room service call early evening to see if you need extra towels, toiletries or water which is above and beyond. They helped me book a taxi to and from Nargakot. The location was close enough to the bustle of Thamel but in a quiet location which made it feel like an oasis of calm. Breakfast had a good selection particularly the omelette station and the juice shots and yoghurt. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe and comfortable.

Breakfast was well equipped, room service was speedy, and rooms were clean and comfortable - housekeeping did a magnificent job. Staff were always friendly. Takeaway breakfast prior to airport was thoughtful but could use improvement.

I left the hotel for the airport at 6:30am, made prior arrangements to get the hotel transport (two days before departure) - only to find out on the spot/on the morning of that I wasn't able to use the hotel service as it was too early. I had to get a taxi who overcharged.

The staff at the main restaurant was excellent. Two young men in particular made extra efforts to be friendly and helpful: Swarinam and Rhosan. The room and bathroom were clean, everything worked except the TV, but I rarely watch TV so wasn't a problem for me. The shuttle to the airport when I was leaving was prompt and courteous. The rooftop deck with pool looked pleasant if you like the sun (too warm for this fat old man!).

Room was just perfect, spacious and very clean, breakfast was good too. Roof top bar was excellent and overall staff lovely and friendly. Excellent service all round.

The reason I booked the hotel was because of the pool. It was continually closed due to maintenance, when it was open the water was very cloudy with lots of floating white stuff in it. Think problem with filter. Such a shame as that is the main thing we wanted.
