Highly recommend them for the great location, exceptionally warm and welcoming staff, 24x7 self check-in which is very simple and the fact that it is right next to the Zoo / Green zone of the city. City centre is few stops away by tram and easily reachable. All facilities mentioned in the room were present. Rooms were super clean and offered a small kitchenette with MW and kettle. We were pleasantly surprised by the free drinks in our minibar and delicious welcome sandwiches. Breakfast buffet was amazing with lots of options to choose from. I would love to stay with them again when I am back in Karlsruhe.

We had booked the room on top floor so obviously it was in the attic. We would bump into the attic ceiling when getting up from bed but you get used to those quickly.

Everything was lovely. I was supposed to be at a hostel, but it creeped me out so I booked here VERY last minute. Patricia (? Front desk lady with glasses and curly hair) was so amazing. I had popped my rental car tire. She let me borrow the hotel's phone because I couldn't call anyone with my cell phone. She was so fantastic and kind. She deserves a raise and a vacation. The breakfast buffet and cafe was so cute and filling. They take care of it so nicely as well.

It's very specific and probably unnecessary for most people. I appreciate having the peep holes in the doors

The room was clean, quiet, spacious and renewed. The breakfast was excellent, with many different choices and tastes including different types of cereals, cheeses, salamis, fruits and breads. Also, the coffee was very good. As I arrived at the city three hours before the regular check-in time, the room was free and they allowed me to check-in earlier which was much appreciated. The location is very good, really close to the train station and at the opposite side of the road from a big park and the zoo, which is one of the city's sightseeing highlights. Overall, an excellent experience!

Huge room (room 43, top floor) was very comfortable and charmingly decorated. Almost felt more like a studio apartment than a hotel, which made us feel at home. The spacious bathroom is very convenient for a couple. Location near the train station is convenient, yet still far enough away that noise is not an issue. Breakfast was great and varied. Will definitely stay here again if I visit Karlsruhe in the future!

The self check-in system is convenient, but very impersonal. This seems to be the way of the future, but especially for family-operated hotels, it is nice to receive a warm welcome. Not a dealbreaker, though.

This property was a life saver. My husband and I had to travel home by bus, but the journey was cnacelled last minute. We were able to get a room at this fine establishment on very short notice. It allowed for late check in through their nifty electronic check in system. It felt very safe. We had to give up our rental car and take the train home, and this location is so close to the train station it was no hassle at all. We were able to book another train home the next morning and we traveled home after a good rest. The breakfast was out of this world. The best I have had during my stay in Hermany up to this point! Highly recommend...

Everything was great. The free snacks in the reception were the cherry on top. Super clean bathroom and bedroom, with free Minibar and shower lotion. Heating was working very well, comfortable bed, enough shelf and hanging spaces for organizing clothes and stuff. Enough space for working (home Office) as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We could even park our bikes in the hotel, so they wouldn't be on the street during night. Breakfast had a great variety and was very tasty. I can only recommend.

The hotel is ideally suited for reaching by public transport, being a couple of minutes from the Hauptbahnhof and the tram. Even so, it is in a very quiet street overlooking the zoo, so I had a very peaceful stay. The room was a good size and comfortable, with shutters at the windows to keep out the heat of the sun. The room has a small (not very cold) fridge with four bottles of drinks provided free of charge, and a few rolls and biscuits were left out in the breakfast room for you to help yourself to. The breakfast was very good. The WiFi is secured with a password.

The bathroom, bed linen and towels were spotless but the floor in the bedroom was very dusty in the corners, under the furniture and in the foot well at the desk, which meant I picked up a lot of dust on my feet when I sat there and then spread it around the room. Obviously, nobody had really looked what was needed and given it a proper clean for a while. There was no plug in the basin in the bathroom, therefore it couldn't be filled with water; I might have to take to carrying a plug with me. Check-in is at a machine, which obviously suits a lot of people but it means there's no-one there to ask for advice, say about how you might spend your evening.

The room was exactly as presented in the description. It was nice and clean. The bathroom and shower were great. There was a breakfast available, but I felt it was a little expensive. However they did provide free sandwiches in the afternoon. We did not use the elevator, but it was off limits between 10PM - 6M, which could be an issue for some folks I guess.

Parking was tricky. There was free parking, but it was full most of the time. The paid parking limited payment to 2 hours, which made it a little tricky to walk into town. There was daily parking at the train station which is a short walk.

We thought it was a great choice to stay here.

Nobody to let you inside. Had to wait in cold rain for 20 to 30 minutes to get in. And this was only because a stranger let us in ( this is a security concern itself). I was busting for a wee wee which made it extremely uncomfortable. They have a machine on the walk that wasn't working. It didnt accept the booking number and it couldn't scan the passport. We tried many times. Yet they sent an email saying we can check-in. Another guest arrived after us and he also couldn't get inside. We sent emails via the booking agent, but of course they are not 24/7. So be warned! Fortunately, the stay was excellent. There was no apology from a real person when we checked out. But we were lucky a stranger let us inside(but not into the room)

The hotel is ideally situated a few minutes walk from the train station. Room was nice and cozy, bed was super comfortable and free mini bar was a nice and very welcome surprise! Staff is very polite and welcoming. Sandwiches and snacks are available in the afternoon for hotel guests for free! E-check in is smooth and simple. If you're luck you may be able to see pandas as the zoo is across the street.

Wifi signal in the room was unsteady. No other down sides whatsoever.
