Room was clean and nice. I like the tile vs the carpet rooms. Breakfast was very good. Room was just right.

My vehicle was broken into Friday night, as was the truck next to me. I understand the hotel is not responsible, but the young man at the front desk did not care whatsover. When I reported it, he pointed to the sign outside, and said file a police report. No sympathy or empathy. I would have thought the hotel would want an incident report. Not sorry one bit. When we checked Sunday, he barely looked up. He needs to be working in the kitchen, not the face of the hotel. And this one is for who designs the handicapp shower. The corded shower head was fantastic. Finally someone thought of that. But the bench so far back I could not reach the controls......that needs some work.

The room was updated, spacious and clean. It had a microwave, mini fridge, hair dryer, clothes iron + iron board, which were all very handy. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The staff was very nice. The gym had more equipments than we expected, which was a good surprise. We were just a 5 min drive to restaurants and grocery stores.

While this did not affect our overall experience, the gym room was very hot (I'd suggest installing a couple of fans in there) and the equipments needed maintenance.

The first morning of our stay, Thursday, the breakfast was not up to par. The fried skillet potatoes were horrible! I put a few on my plate, but my husband got a little more. I didn’t eat mine because they looked terrible but my husband ate his and got sick to his stomach within a few minutes and had to go to the bathroom with diarrhea! The menu didn’t change for the next 3 mornings . We have stayed at this location many times before, but this time it definitely wasn’t good .

Not exactly what I had in mind for family swimming time. Pool in sun all day. Too hot to swim. Just looked enjoyable in the pictures. They had no maintained man after 5. Upon arrival our toilet was stopped up. They brought us a plunger to “ do it our self”. Not happy about having to repair someone else’s “stop up” but, they did refund half of one night’s stay fee! I know they didn’t have to do that so, I think they did try to correct a bad situation the only way possible and I give them a thumbs up and five stars to our desk clerk. She was so nice and polite even though we were rather grumpy! (Sorry)

The person checking us in was so nice, personable, accommodating. Everything seemed very clean, worked well, was comfortable.

It needs (an IS getting) some upgrading. Carpet in the hallways is VERY stained, some walls are scuffed and poorly patched in places. However, we noticed they are doing painting and construction on the entire top floor so maybe they are doing one floor at a time and in a few months it will all seem like new. There were some signs of what might have been a flood/leak on the first floor — open doors, brown paper blocking the view to some areas, strange odor with lots of fragrance trying to cover it up. Probably an easy/quick fix.

The staff is always nice and seem to be hard working employees. The breakfast was very good. The beds are always comfortable!

Our room had a bad odor when you walked into the room. It also wasn’t dusted very well. We have stayed here now 3 times and we are usually very pleased with our stay. I called in advance to see if they could hold us a specific room and we were told that it wasn’t available, but they had another room that was exactly like it. Needless to say, it wasn’t because they put us in a handicap room and the other room wasn’t. We didn’t like the idea that it didn’t have any vanity counter top! This was an off-stay.

The staff was excellent (specifically Dan), very accommodating and easily helped us find the right room that fit our needs. Breakfast was good (Sausage links, eggs, homestyle potatoes, 3 types of cereal, bagels, muffins, etc.). The location is perfect for Sea world (about 12mins away) and located in a relatively safe area, and there's a fairly large backyard area that was great for walking the dog. The room, breakfast area, and hotel itself was clean and well kept. I'd reccomend for anyone needing a good night stay!

Better options for coffee.

Breakfast was ok, never seen tamales for breakfast. And didn't eat them. But everything else was good. The remodel was good. Nice rooms and good people working there

no variety for breakfast. It was either eggs and link sausage or eggs and tamales. Maybe add a little more. Like maybe tamales once a week instead of every other day

The property was clean and the rooms were spacious and perfectly lit. The best part for me was the black out shades that completely darkened the room during the day for me to sleep. I will be returning just for that alone. The staff also deserves a mention as well. Very nice and timely.

The hotel and room were very clean but the whole hotel smelled strongly of cleaning fluids. The room was pretty large and everything was pretty new. Breakfast was decent but unimpressive.

The bed was uncomfortable. The provided toiletries were very small. Other than that I don’t have anything negative to say.
