great value, old facilities but still in acceptable state, good for 1 night without much hassle

- all is automated, no contact with human staff - old facilities and some things don't work anymore (e.g. light sensors, switches on the bed, meaning you have to get up to switch off and go back to bed in the dark) - the automated check-in machine only speaks German, it's not foreigner-friendly at all, and this creates problems in understanding what you're supposed to do, one of which is that you need to remember the room number when it appears on the screen, because once the key card is programmed there is no way of getting it anymore. This is terrible.

The room was clean when I checked in. The location of the hotel was also prime, very close to the city center (Luisenplatz). Lot of restaurants in the area were also close by. The room was sound proof as well. I could barely hear other visitors from the room adjacent to me.

The room in which I stayed had a issue with the window blinds. They were unable to roll back up whatsoever. Also the room didn’t have a mini fridge and owen, which would have been nice.

i have stayed here many times. It is very convenient for the city center and a good price. For a short stay it works well, the rooms are small, but have bed, desk (the stool can be used as a bedside table), shower, toilet and very good air-con. no storage space, so probably not good for longer stays, but for a couple of days within walking distance of the Hbf and city centre it is works well.

It was exactly as expected. I would recommend it for one person. Two would be cramped, and two sharing the double bed with one in the high bed would be a bit awkward. Having a window that opens wide is a plus! Plenty options to eat out within walking distance. Nice little park round the corner behind the museum.

Problems checking in. In my case the machine made a random false statement, just to get me to call at the hotel desk round the corner. What if I'd been late? Took me half an hour to find it out, not being helped by the emergency number. The Tiefgarage is free for hotel guests but not for the budget ones. Reasonable rates for a big city, though.

The room was small and cozy I liked that it had clean sheets for sleeping as well as towels for showering. The lighting was pretty good as you could have multiple lighting choices. And there was a small table I could use for sitting at the computer which was nice but after a while, it got uncomfortable.

The only downside we had I guess with the stay/ service was that you could only check in at 3 pm. We weren't quite prepared for that so we had to walk around with our luggage throughout the town, which got tiring.

The stay was ok. The room was separated from another room by one door, which could be opened without a key, so I have greeted my neighbours :D living next door.

After 1 hour of contact with the bed sheets, I experienced an allergic reaction (heavy itch and red spots). It is not the first time, so I have run to reception to ask for help. They changed the room middle of the night moving me to another, higher status hotel so that I could sleep. Many thanks to a receptionist, who stopped my allergy at an early stage. Beware of detergent with which the bed sheets are washed.

The location was great; walking distance to the center and lots of public transport opportunities very close nearby. The room was fairly big and the bed ok. We also appreciated the backup support given by the nearby hotel THE .

There was no hairdryer in the room and no real wardrobe.

clean room with all the basic needs to stay overnight

Since my last stay a couple of weeks ago, the hotel switched to an automated check-in. It took some time to understand the new setup for which the booking number is needed. It is a bit complicated, especially for first time guests (even though I got some help this time). Without the personal check-in the place has become less attractive to me.

This is a budget hotel and good value for money. The room was a nice size, clean and very comfortable with a good, hot shower. The room and facilities are very basic but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The self checking was so easy compared to other reviews. I was little bit concerned but went very well. Just a reminder; after you enter your data, you see the confirmation there it is good idea to take the photo. The room, bathrom and the sheets were very clean. The location is great.

For me it was a minor problem, and i was too tired so i directly fall asleep but the bed was not in good condition.
