Room was nicely decorated and had a decent bath & shower. Beds were insanely comfortable. Right on the green in Reeth so conveniently located in village. Staff were very pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was very nice with a good range of choices. Would definitely stay again.

It was perhaps a little formal for our C2C stay - had more of a couples weekend away vibe. We opted to eat elsewhere in evening as it was a 3 course set menu but it looked quite good value to be fair, tge pub down the road was more expensive for 2-courses. Kitchen in the room (Muker suite) was odd (especially as there wasn't a table to eat at if you did want to prepare your own food).

Fantastic and generous upgrade offered for our room. Lovely and excellent service provided by the young man for our evening meals and also the young lady for breakfasts, plus a great welcome and, throughout our stay, care and attention from the managers. The room was superb - so large (incl. the bed), two very comfortable armchairs, lovely soft and deep carpet and a roomy bathroom. Will definitely look forward to staying and eating at the hotel again. We enjoyed both our evening meals and breakfasts but the second night’s fish dishes in particular were perhaps the best skrei cod and sea bass we have ever eaten!

The Burgoyne Hotel is simply a delight, the rooms are elegantly decorated with many unique features and quality furniture. My girlfriend and I experienced the warmest of welcomes and friendly hospitality throughout our stay, and we benefited from many complementary culinary treats. The Redmire suite was wonderfully spacious and comfortable, with all amenities you could possible wish for, with a luxurious bathroom for complete and utter relaxation. Finally, the views surrounding the hotel are so picturesque. We hope to revisit The Burgoyne Hotel in the future and strongly recommend that you have this fantastic experience.

Location and accommodation was excellent. We understood the hotel had gone through a recent refurbishment and new decor. Stunning and well executed.Lovely art deco touches. We had a friendly greeting by the current manager, staff were friendly, attentive and well turned out. Couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable. We ate the first night in the restaurant, wow easily five stars, the chef certainly excelled himself. The blue cheese mousse and duck starter highly recommend. Followed by belly pork and Venison for our main. Unfortunately we were unable to appreciate the selection of sweets on offer as we were satisfied with just the two courses. Accompanying us for our few days break was our lovely retriever cross lab. The staff greeted her with a biscuit and at meal times she could join us to eat in the bar. Breakfast, she was greeted with a tempting bowl containing some delicious locally reared sausage. Breakfast had a great choice of cereals. Etc as well as a cooked selection. So impressed with our stay we have already booked for 2025.

Nothing to dislike. Just an observation. Just somewhere we could dry wet boots and outdoor clothing as we were aware it wasn’t ideal coming through into the hotel spoiling carpets etc. Excellent idea having dog towels near the back door.👍

Quirky hotel in a picturesque location . Very welcoming staff. Special shout out to Seth, who was lovely and we saw the most of! Excellent breakfasts and evening meal. It was quiet, ( but we didn't mind having the lounge to ourselves)

The only minor thing, was the pot of tea at breakfast wasn't very good and was very weak. The Yorkshire teabags in the bedroom were far better, so I suggest they should use those in the kitchen. Other than that everything was fine

The Hotel was excellent, the staff very efficient and very friendly, Me and my wife (and our dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is lovely visually, parking was effortless, and the meals were second to none. Everyone was very friendly, they took the trouble to put us at ease, to the point of ensuring our dog had some food for his breakfast alongside us (that was a touching and lovely thing to do).

My only criticism is that for the cost, the room was small and not well equipped, it was described as a 'suite' however it was one room with a large bed, a small TV and no desk (I like to work when I'm away). Saying that, the shower was perfect, hot water and lashings of it. It made up for the rest of the room.

Wonderful setting with a stunning outlook over the village green to the hills beyond. The hotel is welcoming and tastefully decorated and friendly. The open fire in the lounge on a cold autumn evening was magical. The service from the friendly, helpful staff was first class and beyond the call of duty. The food in the restaurant was superb and complimented by an excellent wine list. A very memorable experience and highly recommended.

One of our more senior party had a guest-bed in an ante room that was comfy but wasn't warm enough.

Location. Stunning decor. Staff very friendly and considerate. Food excellent.

Only downside was the length of time it took to get our meal. Booked in for 7.30 but didn't get starter until 8.30. We were advised about a 15 minute delay, but once it got to the hour, it was becoming unacceptable. A shame because otherwise the place was excellent.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Me and partner spent a night here on Halloween 2024. We also had our very friendly but very giddy Patterdale with us. The staff both morning and evening were so welcoming and put us at ease. Lovely room with spectacular views. We also had an evening meal here, what a treat that was. Pork tenderloin and belly, out of this world! Gorgeous decor, stunning views, mouthwatering food, great service and all at a fair price. We will definitely be returning👌

No complaints at all.

The Burgoyne is in the perfect location. I had a lovely room at the front of the building overlooking the Green - just a delightful view to wake up to. The staff were excellent: very welcoming, friendly and efficient. The dinner was very good, interesting choices and well executed. I have to say that the decor is bizarre for a Yorkshire Dales town, sort of Gothic meets Baroque, but it all adds to the nice, fun atmosphere.

Nothing really. My bathroom was opposite my bedroom rather than en-suite and while I had doubts at first, it all worked out absolutely fine.
