Modern hotel with large rooms, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. It has nice secure underground parking (for a fee) with a large number of spaces. This is excellent if you want to explore the city not have to worry about the car. There is a bus stop close by with frequent departures that makes it easy to access the the metro and get around the city. The hotel is located in a nice modern area with a few restaurants and bars close by. It was easy to find and not too far away from the motorway.

The madras and pillows were a bit harder than I prefer, but okay. The cupboard had extra pillows, so you could swap them if needed.

Another stay at this very convenient and well-situated (by the river and close to main motorway junctions) hotel. Super-easy check in with, as always, very polite staff in attendance. Used the secure underground car park which is excellent. The on-site restaurant was closed (not a problem as this was made clear beforehand) so we went to an excellent bar/restaurant nearby in this now flourishing business district. There is a new Pathe cinema complex within 5 minutes walk too. Rooms were super clean, beds comfortable and fitness suite was a welcome distraction after spending all day driving. Breakfast was excellent and check out very smooth. Thank you for another excellent stay.

​The hotel has a lot of advantages. ​LOCATION: ​Close to the Autobahn. When driving on the A7 & A6 from south to north (direction Dijon), this is a convenient overnight stop. It helps you avoid heavy traffic jams the next day, which is a strategic advantage. ​30 minutes by Bus 31 to the city center. The bus stop is located right outside the hotel, and you can buy tickets from the bus driver for €2.60. ​PARKING: ​There is a secure parking garage that costs €11 per night. Your car will be safe. ​PRICE: ​Great value for money. ​CLEANLINESS & FACILITIES: ​The room was clean and spacious. It has air conditioning and a coffee machine with all the necessary ingredients. THE STAFF: The staff was polite and helpful. Thanks you very much.

There is no minibar or small fridge in the room.

Beautiful hotel near the river banks with plenty of restaurants in the area. Easy parking in the hotel underground parking. Very friendly and professional receptionist who spoke perfect english, we arrived early but our hotelroom was already available. We didn"t dined at the hotel but it all looked very good. We used this hotel on our way to southern France and will love to visit again.

We liked the spacious family room, parking for electric cars, good gym, and that it was very calm in the nights. Staff was friendly and helpful

The only thing to improve is the breakfast. Compared to the other amenities of the hotel it seemed rather simple, the pancakes were cold and had hardly any taste so I doubt they are fresh made. There was only one kind of cheese and it was packaged in plastic. The scrambled eggs I wasn’t sure if made of real eggs or powder. The breakfast is definitely good enough though.

Hotel Lyon-ouest is located on a river de Saóne which is a beautiful place near the centre of Lyon. Staff at the hotel are very professional, friendly and super helpful. I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Lyon-ouest immensely! I would absolutely advise everyone visiting Lyon to stay at the Hotel Lyon-ouest.

The rooms and bathrooms are huge and very clean. The beds are very comfortable and I like the option to choose your pillow. The shower gel in the bathroom is just gorgeous. The safe is good as is the air conditioning. The staff are wonderful. So very friendly and helpful. The car park is large and secure and only 11€ per night. The location is good not too far out of the centre with bars and restaurants close by. It was our second stay here and we spent a very comfortable 3 nights. We will be back.

It’s a shame that there is no minibar in the room and the tea selection isn’t great, only mint and Ceylon no breakfast tea but at least it’s there.

We were in Lyon during Rugby world cup and many other hotels were fully booked, for a sightseeing I'd recommend something closer to center. Otehrwise, the room was pleasant, and the large bed was quite comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Nice experience in overall.

While the hotel is conveniently close to a bus stop and somewhat near a metro, it's still a distance from the city center. It's not central, yet it's worth noting that parking comes at an additional cost.

Last minute booking as we were travelling to Spain. Room was great.

Bar closed, said it was pet friendly but no doggie areas. Parking facilities were a bit of a nightmare. Height restriction said 2mtrs, we had a roof box and got through the gate but it was underground parking and the further you went down into the car park the height decreased! We had to reverse all the way out as we couldn’t get car in! But we managed to get outside parking. All a bit stressful.

Quite a spacious room. In quiet neighborhood. Elevator. Licensed restaurant onsite. Easy walk to other restaurants around. Car parking. Housekeeping done every day.

Didn't like the shower over the bath. I'm not a tall person so found it a bit difficult to get in and out of the deep bath. It must be the norm over there as we travelled to many places and a shower over the bath was in nearly all accommodations.
