Great hotel and great location. Despite bad reviews about the neighborhood: it’s civil, calm and very connected to all the public transport lines. Breakfast was more than enough. Nutritious and served for 3 hours. Hotel was clean and the staff was super nice. Changed sheets and towels daily. Renovated bathroom and spacious room. AC controlled by reception- but they were always responsive on the phone to adjust it immediately. Our flight was delayed for one more night in HIGH SEASON (end of July) and the hotel extended our stay on a price we paid in our winter reservation. Ignore all the bad reviews, reading them before coming here made us skeptical about it but honestly it was more than good value for the money.

Hotel is located in silent place and not so far from metro station Basilico San Paolo. The biggest advantage of this variant of accommodation is that you need only 12 minutes to get downtown, e.g. Coliseum. This hotel do deserves a 4 star rank. Interior of the room was old fashioned but it was well cleaned and had all we needed. Bathroom was well equipped with different amenities such as shower, hair dryer, large mirror, bathroom accessories, bidet e.t.c. Service staff was kind and responsive, we had some problem with reservation but it was solved in a couple of minutes. Also the noteworthy that the staff fluently communicate with guests in different languages (including English ofc) Some variants of reservation also include breakfast. We weren’t surprised with plenty of different dishes but can’t complain, cause restaurant provides self-service breakfast with standard complex of meals.

The only one disappointment is about the lack of sockets near the bed in room :(

The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good, for an Italian breakfast abundant and diverse. Hotel was conveniently located close to Metro B and the place I had to be during the day.

The bathroom had a bathtub but without a plug and on the other hand there was just a 'rainshower-head', which I really dislike. In order to turn on the shower you get soaked with cold water... Otherwise fine.

My daughter and myself had a twin share room which was quite spacious. Room and beds were comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety of food. Having the metro close by was very convenient as were the shops, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.

The lights in the room were not sufficient. There were no lights in the ceiling, only bedside lamps and one free standing lamp. The room at night was not bright enough. I would recommend installing ceiling lights.

The room was very large for a European hotel. The breakfast was fantastic and the overall experience was great!

The only thing that threw me off was that the outside of the hotel was painted blue… not sure why they chose that color since all the buildings around are tan so that kind of bothered me but besides that it was good!

I enjoyed my stay from breakfast through to Dining in the restaurant on 2 of my 3 nights, complement staff on their  language skills , on entering my room I was most impressed the photos didn’t lie . I traveled by Metro and the walk towards the Hotel is a introduction to Roaming in Rome , choosing to take advantage of the buss I found it acceptable. Making sure I obtained a 72 hour travel card ,on arrival to Rome for maximum benefit.

Nothing to mention on the stay Company could advise customers that buying a travel card and advantage at the start of their stay in Rome . if considering using public transport, to and from hotel and between tourist attractions.

The room was decently sized, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was really nice! Breakfast was good, though I think they used canned fruit salad instead of fresh fruit.

The fire alarm went off one morning for like an hour; there was no fire, but it woke just about everybody up. It’s also in a seemingly sketchy location; lots of trash on the ground in the surrounding area, lots of graffiti, even dog poop left on the side walk. That’s not the hotel’s fault, but it’s important to know.

Amazing hotel! Breakfast was excellent, such a rich selection of food, stuff was so kind and took care that nothing was missing from the tables. Every morning we got clean towels, hair and body shampoo and water and sparkling water in our fridge. The stuff on the reception is very kind and helpful. The best thing was that we could check out until 12pm and leave our baggage after in the hotel for free. Location is around 10mins by walk from metro and bus station which worked great for us. I highly recommend this hotel!

Very clean hotel, for me the bed and the bathroom are the most important and the bed was very comfortable and bathroom spacious, modern and clean. The breakfast had many options.

The staff were polite, but we asked twice for an extra blanket (once directly at the reception and once by phone from the room). Never came.

The staff are brilliant!! The food is superb! The hotel is a little outdated with a few bumps and cracks, but that is superficial. Everything works and the beds are lovely. Nothing is too much to ask for. Extra pillows are available and delivered promptly. The restaurant is excellent! The chef is extremely skilled and the food is delicious. The free breakfast has everything! Bacon and Eggs, cakes etc. I was apprehensive when I booked due to other reviews but I have to say I was well impressed. The hotel needs some work, but it does not effect your stay. If you staying in Rome, and on a budget, this hotel is your only choice in my opinion. Please do not judge them on the negative reviews. If you stay, you will be pleasantly surprised and very happy. The breakfast is bottomless 🙃

The seal around the bath had a few marks, but this is visual rather than function. Everything works!
