So, I am glad that I visited New Orleans. My first day was a bit of a snoozefest, but guess what? I stumbled upon four mates at the same hostel! We spent the rest of the entire trip catching up and having a blast. Was that the highlight of my trip? I think so because I had an amazing time at the hostel. It’s located on Canal Road, right in the heart of downtown New Orleans. It’s super close to Bourbon Street & the Frenchmen Street, , the riverfront too! You can easily walk to the riverfront or take a streetcar. The streetcar station is right next to the hostel, and the hostel itself is super clean and comfortable. The restrooms are spotless too! The staff is incredible. The breakfast was great. They offer basic breakfast options from 7 AM to 10 AM every day. The rooms are perfectly clean and there were no disturbances at all. I absolutely love this HI New Orleans Hostel. I’ll definitely be back next time and staying here again.

Not as such

Michael, Rashid, the cleaning staff were incredible - as a concierge and manager Michael is as good as any professional at a five star hotel from Paris to London to Washington, DC. Fact. Rashid, his second in command is also professional, efficient, friendly, and reliable. The cleaning staff is top-notch. I am hopeful that Michael will be a resource for Wyndham Hotel 8 properties as a trainer, regional manager, owner, investor. He's that good.

I liked the whole experience - if ever I purchase a hotel property I'll be looking to hire Michael, Rashid & the whole team away from Wyndham 8 Dumfries! Just being honest!

I thought there could be a bit more to the breakfast, it was a little too plain. I like the blueberry muffins but if you didn't come out early enough they were gone and I didn't want chocolate chip muffins. I would have liked to have seen some hostess danishes or glazed honey buns offered. I did like the value/cost of the room so I'm not expecting a breakfast buffet but if you offered one or both of the choices I mentioned, I would have said breakfast was excellent.

The staff were accommodating. The rooms were clean, which is always a huge plus for me. The location couldn’t be better—it's just a short drive to Quantico and conveniently close to various shops and dining options. I appreciated how easy it was to explore

There is quite a bit of construction happening in front of the hotel, making it challenging to enter and exit.

During my stay at the motel, Mr.Aamir remarkable customer services emerged as the shining star. His sincere warmth, unwavering, attention and utmost professionalism cocooned me in comfort and delight. Thanks to him, my experience was unforgettable. I eagerly await my next visit . Kudos to the team and especially Mr.Aamir.

Everything was perfect, breakfast could have been better.

It was half n hr from DC. There were a lot of sketchy people around and in the facility. I was with my wife n kids. And I was not feeling safe at all. So when it comes to safety then everything is left behind. Although everything was good but it wasn't safe at all. Me n my family was not comfortable and were scared.

The location is perfect and a walking distance to a lot of eateries and simple services

The heavy scent of smokers. You’re just only ok in your non-smoking room. Outside of it and you’re greeted with this.

It seemed like a brand new place it was super clean. The staff was very courteous and patient when I tried to book online to get a better price.

I couldn't figure out how to turn on the tv.

Breakfast was a quick grab and go conveniently located at the front desk.

The flow of traffic can't be changed. The facility is on a divided highway so if you are headed north you need to go south and make a u-turn. It's a little inconvenient but can't be changed.

The staff was pleasant, great location, and clean rooms.

There wasn't really much of a breakfast, which was fine. For the price of the room, everything was great.
