The room and house were spotless, lovely location and very quiet. Views were pretty amazing. The location is excellent for Thatcham and Newbury, you don't feel like you are so close to civilisation as it was so quiet. Very nice couple who own the house.

Shared bathroom for the price (but it was bank holiday week so understandably more money) and I ordered breakfast but the hosts got up late so I had to skip it to get to work. Breakfast is extra and not included in the price so I didn't lose out any money.

Rural retreat with character. Comfortable twin bedded room made us feel welcome as awful weather outside. Breakfast - excellent in a grand dining room.

We were the only guests so have no dislikes. However if the accommodation was full would one bathroom / toilet be sufficient? No plug for hand basin but I did not ask for one. Just an observation

Fantastic location, Bueatiful period building with huge character, front lawn offers amazing view for miles around. Host was very pleasant and very helpful. Rooms were large and accomadating and "old school" a nice blast from the past!

For me a bit far away from where I was working, but if your looking to stay in that particular area a perfect location.

wonderful setting with lovely views. A traditional English B&B with a very friendly host. it’s charming and quirky. a very welcome change to the corporate hotels I find myself in far too often.
