Layout and amenities were good. Overall, the room was comfortable and clean. The location is in a quiet neighborhood I did appreciate the laundry facilities located within the building Uber is easily accessible

The location does require some walking to get to places (and maybe ideal for folks looking for experiences that cater to the tourists). The “tour desk” is basically a bunch of brochures. The tour company they use is alright. I’d encourage other tour companies that tend to also be less expensive and equally efficient Shower floor has glazed tiles (so can be slippery)

Amazing location close to good restaurants, cafes and bars, good price/quality ratio, easy communication through Whatsapp, well equipped apartments, nice views, and the roof terrace as an added bonus.

Noise from the (resident) neighbours/lack of good sound isolation. You can hear everything happening in the hallways, some of the residents are young and inconsiderate throwing parties and having (drunken) friends over at very late hours at night, shouting and screaming in the hallways like is the middle of the day, no respect for people in other apartments. While I fully understand this is not the building's fault, they should be more strict about noise rules after hours with their residents as it creates a lot of disruption for other guests (we had 1am to 3 am nuissances for 3 or 4 nights out of the 8 nights in total we stayed there, in 2 different floors)

BEE Suites was the perfect fit for my husband and I during our few days in San José. The staff was friendly and helpful, the bed was super comfy, and the suite was clean and had everything we needed. We liked the quiet location and that we were about a 10 to 15 minute Uber ride to downtown. There is a small grocery store under 10 minutes away on foot. For those sensitive to noise, the frig was loud and we could hear trains early in the morning. My husband turned down the frig at night so it did not "run" very often and the trains were far enough away that they were quite pleasant. Actually, I am a light sleeper and slept very well at BEE Suites. We would definitely stay here again!

Cleanliness, staff friendliness, location. It was perfect and located in a very safe part of BE. A little more off the beaten path which is great for quiet. Also farther from the train than the rest of BE which is great for the noise pollution, and just a little more walking of you plan to use the train. The jacuzzi is great.

I wanted to stay longer and said that up front. But they jacked up the price for the second week by 50% because there was high demand. It's a shame I couldn't stay longer.

I couldn't have hoped for a better place to stay in San José. I spent a week in BEE Suites Escalante apartment and I liked it so much. The room is big enough, nicely decorated, clean and there is everything in the kitchen I needed on my weeklong stay. The bed is very good and comfortable. There is a good foostore (Fresh Market) about 5 minute walk from the BEE Suites. The pictures are as good as reality. You should stay in BEE Suites, especially if you have a longer stay than one night. Oh, and the jacuzzi is a perfect place to relax in the 15th floor after long walks you might do during the day. I can't recommend this accommodation enough.

I really don't know. If I have to say something I would say that the fridge was a little bit noisy in the night. But I have a similar sounding one at home so I'm used to that already.

The studio was very comfortable. The rooftop gym and views were good. There are lots of nice restaurants fairly nearby and the city centre is a short Uber ride away. Correspondence with the management of the property by WhatsApp was good. If visiting the city, the cafe at the theatre was lovely for lunch and the National Museum was well worth a visit, especially its butterfly house. We enjoyed a good meal at Apotecario near the apartment.

You receive your key code by email on the day. With travelling long haul we had not had any online access and the security guy on reception was not helpful. Once we got access to the reception area internet, all was fine.

Good location, definitely calm, probably we stayed during the slow season. The kitchen was missing a cutting board, and the staff provided it very fast.

They need to upgrade cookware, scratched nonstick pans and no water glasses. For a kitchen of that size they can provide decent cookware. AC tried really hard but it didn't work as it was supposed to. We had it on all the time since it was never getting to the temp that was set. Not a fan of having AC on for a long time. Adding a ceiling fan would fix the issue. A little more love will make this place perfect.

I loved the key code to enter the room. Room was very clean and had great amenities. There are restaurants, shops, and activities close by. I found a cute art studio next to a vegan shop that had classes where you can make your own jewelry or artwork, pretty cool!

It would’ve been nice to know more about the area, maybe some tours provided by the hotel or info about local places offering classes etc. The hot tub is a nice bonus on the rooftop but could’ve been a tad a larger looks to fit only about 3-4 ppl max.

Excellent apartment - modern, clean, very well equipped, in great condition, great view and quiet. Seems very secure and the "concierge" staff at the entrance to the building were very helpful. Although I didn't use it, the property has a very secure parking garage. Will definitely stay here again

The neighborhood was a bit run down, and wasn't sure about how secure it would be to walk to the fabulous neighboring restaurant area in Escalante at night. I took an Uber. It would be helpful if there was a sundries or small shop/vending machine on site to buy snacks etc

Would definitely stay here again. My rating is 4.5 stars for this type of property. May have rated at 5 stars if there was a safe and dishwasher. Accommodations: Rooms are well equipped with everything I needed to enhance my stay. Upon arrival the room was very clean. I appreciated the fact the windows open and are screened. My room did not have a washer/dryer but there is a laundry room. Plenty of street parking. Gym is small based on my workout needs so I visited the Smart Fit gym at the mall for $13 per day. Clean, modern and well equipped. Bring your passport. Safety: Area near the building is very quiet. It is safe to walk day and night BUT as always stay alert and keep in mind it’s not typical for cars to yield to pedestrians. Communication: I was able to effectively communicate with the property management team via What’s App. I was very surprised how quickly my questions were answered and my concerns were met prior to and during the stay. Security: Building has 24 hour security at the entrance. Very nice folks. I was able to bring in an occasional guest without questions from security. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Location: Building is located in a nice residential area. Only complaint was the occasional barking dogs I could here when the window was open. San Pedro mall is an easy 15-20 walk, worth the trip. Also nearby is a great area for food and drinks on Calle 33 (street name). On Calle 33 and some of the adjacent side streets you’ll find a significant number of restaurants and bars that stretch several blocks. Downtown San Jose is 10 minutes away via car. Misc:
