It was a great location in walking distance to the main street and local restaurants. We had a comfortable room which was very clean and well appointed. The staff we met were very friendly. The pool area with cocktail bar was excellent. The area was very well presented and looked great.

We were in Room 12 which was on the top level. A good spot however we were told that these were some of the rooms that did not have opening windows. This meant we could open the door at times for fresh air but overnight we needed to put the aircon on just for some airflow in the room. We really hope in their renovation they put in at least an opening window! The only other suggestion is a couple of softer pillows as an option. All the pillows seemed quite new but all really too firm!

South Seas Motel was great value for money in a great location. Staff were flexible with making arrangements for our late check-in which was appreciated. There is a good size TV and kitchenette. Furnished with everything we needed. Bed was comfortable and the motel seemed to block out a lot of noise from outside which meant we had a great sleep. I'd stay again!

Appreciated the complimentary shampoo and conditioner, however body wash would have been a nice addition and there was no dishwasher liquid under the kitchen sink.

Location is convenient to the town centre, which is up from the beach however. We we situated further from the road which was good. Parking was decently large. Rooms were simple but fine.

Surprisingly I didn't speak to any staff (away from the desk at both normal check in & out) - key collect/drop was not an issue but unexpected. Personally I'd increase the rate a bit and not request guests to wash dishes.

Close to local restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops. Just a short walk whereby you can walk along the river to make it more scenic :) Staff were super friendly and so helpful, offered us an upgraded room as it was not sold that night and provided so much insight into the local area with lots of things to do. Place was super clean and fresh with everything you need. Would highly recommend.

They were so accomodating. Anything we needed they helped us. Perfect location. Fuel station across the road, chemist and drs offices all near each other. Convenient for walking anywhere. Perfect for people with no cars. You will need a car for long distant travel and so forth but for the general Merimbula area, it’s perfect.

Loved the Pool Club on Sunday afternoon/night (fabulous passionfruit mojito) and particularly loved the pool area- the decor and setting. Loved the location- central to everything. Loved that it was dog friendly- will make use of this in the future. Very clean, cute renovations.

Wished the Pool club was on Monday nights as well.😀

Very well located near the centre of town, terrific service, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Good air conditioning. Car space just outside front door and lovely pool area. Travelling with my daughter so 2 beds was great.

Shower could be a little hotter. Showered around 5.30- 6pm each day. Would be great to be able to open a window.

The room was clean and the bedding was clean. Rooms are only on the first floor, so there is no noise that interferes with each other. Not far away is the whale-watching pier.Since I arrived late, they put the key and welcome on the door and put the key in the mailbox when I left, which was very convenient. I like this very simple operation. I feel that all this is enough.

The location and the pool facility, the staff were first class and Happy to help.

The shower was warm to cool and we could not get it hot. That was in both rooms.

Attention to detail was great! LOOOVED the vibe in the pool area. Very natural. Felt like an oasis especially when the pool Bar was open. Loved that the pool was heated. Rooms were clean and cared for. Staff were very friendly. Location was perfect as I could walk everywhere. Lots of shops and eateries super close. Even movies was in walking distance. Loved the whole thing and will gladly go back.
