Location: The hotel is on the island with its old town. Staff: The staff were helpful and chatted with us via Whatsapp, which was useful as we arrived after the reception had closed (6pm). We got a code for the key box. Breakfast: The breakfast area was well lit and offered a good choice of food and drink. From the front of the hotel we could watch the annual children's parade, which happened to take place when we were there.

They bicycle storage room behind the hotel was small and we had to play "bike-tetris" to get our bikes in. We were also worried due to the close packing, but we did not notice any damage to our bikes.

Never had such a clean and nice bathroom. The water pressure was amazing and the rest of the room was also super clean. Staff was super nice, but could have kept a few sarcastic comments to them self. However, if you don't mind talking back, everything is fine.

The room was quite hot, however, there was already a great ventilator in the room. Still it was not really possible to cool down the room, even with open widows over the night. But you have to expect that when you travel in summer. No minus points for this.

What I liked about this hotel is the kind treatment. Especially the treatment of these respectable young men, Mohammed from Afghanistan and another young man from Kosovo. They treated my children as if they were their own. They taught us goodness, generosity and chastity. The breakfast was very wonderful. Thank you very much.

Arrived late but the instructions to get my key and where to park my car were very easy to follow. The breakfast was continental but plenty to eat. The facilities were good and the location was in the centre of the old part of the town The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it

The staff at the Hotel went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The hotel is perfectly located right on the main pedestrian area which is full of shops and cafe's. Also just a short walk from the beautiful Lindau Harbour. The room was big with an excellent bathroom.

As in all these historic old buildings, there was no air conditioning and the weather was hot. Fortunately, We were given two fans which did help a lot.

Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. It was the best breakfast we’ve ever had. The quality of food was amazing. Thank you so much!

We were missing a couple of things like cutlery and kettle in the room, but it’s possible to get it from reception.

What a stunning place to stay, we wished we had booked more days. The room was so comfy and faced onto a nice pretty street. The lady at the reception was so pleasant and helpful and told us to take one of the hotel's umbrella's to use because it was going to rain. Which it did.

My only complaint is that there are no Tea or coffee making facilities in the room and there wasn’t a safe to store valuables

Hotel staff goes away by 6 pm. Thought it did not matter us much but still it would be good incase some one needs any help.

Good mid budget hotel central to town and on main shopping street close to station. Otherwise offered the usual standard you expect in German hotels. We got a top floor room with view across to Alps which was a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful.
