The hotel is set in a campsite, which we knew in advance. The hotel/campsite is just one on a strip of similar establishments along the Domaso lake front. All these campsites squash tents and caravans into quite close quarters, which must feel quite cramped to campers. However, the atmosphere is very laid back, and everyone seems to be enjoying the lake. The lakefront is always busy with families - but again, there is a very calm, laid-back feel to the whole area. We did not notice any noise at night and enjoyed the environment. The hotel is very clean, the room was a good size, the bed large and comfortable. We appreciated the use of a kettle. Our balcony didn't look directly over the lake - we knew this in advance too - but this is something you might want to pay attention to in your choice of room. Breakfast, in the airy canteen downstairs, and on the terrace,, had a pretty good selection of cold foods - lots of fruit, yoghurt, boiled eggs, breads, cold meats, cheese, and good coffee. We found the staff helpful and loved the area. It is possible to walk for miles along the lakefront, some of which is much less populated, and it is also possible to walk up into the hills. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance, some better than others.

All in all pretty good. This is an expensive area, so value for money is hard to assess. You are paying big city prices for accommodation and food.

The room was very good. We liked it and the balcony,. It is just a pitty we had to stay only one night otherwise we would have stayed longer. The breakfast was good, but not as good as we like. The space around was very nice and we enjoyed a lot possibility to walk around the lake.

When we come back from the dinner the bar was closed although based on operating hours it should have been still open. It was raining so we didn't want to go to the shop, but use the local facility - no luck. It was raining, but this is nothing related to the hotel. :)

Starting from friendly staff, ending with an amazing view, this place totally corresponds to the description😃 Rooms are tidy, free and convenient parking in the hotel yard, tasty breakfast ( some fruits, drinks, prosciutto, cheese, yogurt, bread… ) Hotel is just in front of Como lake, so you can easily reach it and swim there ( water is chilly now, about +20 dg ) Also we arrived early and were given a room 2 hrs earlier, just after it was cleaned, greatly appreciate this😊 Also it is a place for camping, so lots of vans are placed on the yard, which looks interesting.

I see the only and the biggest trouble here is poor wifi, when I say poor, I mean 2-5 mgb per second ( Instagram, you tube, email hardly loading, not talking of any work needs😳) So in case you need some worcation, this is not the right place, or make sure to have a great mobile internet! There is a swimming pool, but the problem is that it has also about +22 dg, it's freezing cold😅

Excellent hotel, gorgeous view from the balcony to the hotel pool, lake and mountains. The lake is impressive. It is very pleasant to walk along the lake, swim or just relax by the lake admiring the beautiful views around. Good bed and shower room. Very friendly owner and staff. We were advised to have an excellent Italian restaurant within walking distance, which we were very pleased with, feeling the real flavor of Italy. Very convinient parking in front of the hotel entrance.

A very small refrigerator, which is very inconvenient. A little noisy from the road when the balcony door is open.

The staff is very friendly! The hotel is pretty clean and comfy. Rooms are big, with everything needed, breakfast was pretty good and the coffee as well, but the highlight of it is the wonderful view. The area is quiet, calm and extremely beautiful. The lake is 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel building.

The location of the hotel is really good and it is just walking distance to the lake. It is not so noisy compared to other cities around the lake area but still quite convenient to visit many sightseeing places by car .Our room is clean, spacious and with a balcony with nice view of the mountains. We really love it.

Small hotel, perfect for us in a fantastic location by the lake. Beautiful scenic views and lovely early morning walks along the lakeside watching the sunrise. Great facilities, very clean, and the staff were very polite and helpful.

Would have been good to see more information about what to do and places to eat etc in the hotel.

Stayed on a junior suite which was really big. Plenty of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Really friendly staff and there was always room by the pool The lake shore was 50 metres away and the scenery was breathtaking

Spacious room nicely furnished and modern. Walk-in shower and bathroom facilities. Spacious parking. Good breakfast. Close to the delightful Gravedona. Good terrace; the lake is visible but in a distance; you look down on some campers first. Sound if the rain ticking on the roof if you like that.

If you have noisy neighbours, then you hear them all right.

The breakfast could be better… and Domaso doesn’t offer much - but this is not the fault of the property. If you are willing to enjoy Bellagio, Menagio and the other famous cities around, location could be a little far.
