The views were stunning. the staff were very friendly and helpful. the hotel had very good facilities. we were on the lake and it was possible to hire a boat.

it was expensive. For example breakfast was included but this was for a buffet and if you wanted eggs Benedict it was an additional cost of €15. parking was €20 a night extra.

We stayed in a Lakeview room – the view was absolutely stunning, totally worth it. The hotel is spacious and very family-friendly, perfect if you are travelling with children. There is parking available, which makes it much easier if you come by car, as the bus runs only about once every two hours. Our room also had a small hob and a kettle, but there were no pans or pots provided. If you are coming by car, it might be a good idea to bring a small pan or pot with you, so you can cook something yourself and save on restaurants. The staff were kind and helpful, and the whole place is located in a very beautiful, calm area.

Everything really! The rooms are spacious and clean with a breathtaking view to lakeugano. We booked the suit with a separate living room and a kitchenet. The resourt is big, has many facilities and is well maintained. We stayed at May and it was very quite, not too many guests and no families with kids. The staff is very warm and attending. The breakfast is excellent. The ECo spa has a breathtaking view to the lake from the sauna and the external jacuzzi, simply amazing. The location is great as well, very close to lake Como. All in all a great place and a great value for money.

Hardly anything for imrovement. If I really have to find something I would say that may be the cakes quality and variety could be better.

The room we stayed in was spacious, very comfortable and the view was spectacular. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful - they went above and beyond. Having a separate children and adults pool made the adults pool much more relaxing! The beach area had loads of deck chairs and umbrellas, so there was never a lack of space, and swimming in the lake was amazing. The breakfast buffet was also lovely with a wide variety and high quality of food available. The resort itself is also covered in beautiful plants so walking round was really pleasant.

We found the food and ambience of ‘La Veranda’ restaurant underwhelming and overpriced. We also felt that the other restaurants were a bit expensive but the quality of food was good. It is a bit of a walk to other restaurants, or the local town, outside of the resort but the walk is pleasant! It wasn’t an issue for us but the walk from the beach back to the room was quite steep and those with mobility issues might struggle. There are lifts but you’d have to take multiple lifts and it won’t take you all the way in any event.

This place is out of this world. My parents and partner stayed here for a week and had the holiday of a lifetime. The location is 10/10 and the view from our apartment took our breath away every morning. The staff couldn’t do enough for you either - so friendly, attentive and helpful. The food is also incredible and there’s a lot of choice each evening. In the instance you’re looking for something more affordable the gorgeous town of Porlezza is a 20 minute walk away - which I highly recommend. During our stay my Mum turned 70 and my partner turned 30, they were both surprised with balloons, cake and bubbles which had been left for them to enjoy by the hotel. 10/10 worth a visit!

Nothing. Could not fault it.

After a few days on Lake Como and a last minute change of plans for our next stop we landed up at Parco San Marco. It was a wonderful, serendipitous, beautiful few days on Lake Lugano. Arguably more beautiful, without all the tourist craziness of Como. The staff made our family feel at home and our kids not want to leave. The water sports team were the highlight of our trip for our kids. Waterskiing across the border of Italy and Switzerland will be a life memory for my son.

Aircons not working. Apparently too cool for them to kick into action. But would have been nice for us to make that decision.

The location to begin with. Amazing view of the lake from the room. There are many options for staying the whole day in the hotel: Many pools, the lake beach, the indoor spa and just walking around and seeing the turtles and fish in their ponds. Breakfast has many options and is very tasty!

The prices of the hotel's restaurants are very high. I believe it can go doen a little bit so it will be more affordable.

The hotel is well located and the rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff provided excellent service friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was satisfying, and the on-site restaurants served quality food. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with commendable service.

While the rooms were not outdated, they felt somewhat underwhelming given the price. Additionally, the beds could have been more comfortable.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at Parco San Marco. The resort is beautifully located between the lake and the mountains, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a lovely view of Lake Lugano. We enjoyed a relaxing spa treatment and a paddle on the lake, both of which were highlights of our trip. The food at the resort’s restaurants was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a perfect spot for a romantic escape, and we’re looking forward to returning in the future!

The location, service, amenities (e.g., pools, family spa, tennis and basketball courts, bikes--FYI, the tennies and bikes are an extra fee), food, kids club, rooms, etc. were outstanding! My partner loved the beach (where we could also pay extra to rent pedalos or stand up paddles). Our kid loved the scavenger hunt to explore the facilities upon arrival (and win a prize). ;-)

The sheets seemed to be too small for the beds. So by morning, we were often touching the bare mattress in some places. I think they need bigger sheets and/or mattress covers. Some of the servers/staff were really going the extra mile more than others. So, I wish it was easier to tip them (e.g., in the individual bills/when paying by credit card).
